neglect, abuse.

Neglected infants and toddlers have poor muscle tone, poor motor control, exhibit delays in gross and fine motor development and coordination, fail to develop and perfect basic motor skills.

Abused infants often exhibit a state of "frozen watchfulness," that is, remaining passive and immobile, but intently observant of the environment. This appear to be a protective strategy in response to a fear of attack. Her fear may not necessarily be in response to her parents actions directly. she could be afraid of the dogs.

These people disgust me. Good luck getting Emilia to sleep when she is a toddler! Good sleeping habits start from birth - they are only making things harder for them in the long run and messing with Emilia's sleep/growth.

I wish that people could be reported for being shitty parents for stuff like this.
I posted a few pages back about why CPS would laugh at you if anyone ever tried to report them. I don't know the laws in Ireland, but in North America, you need to do some pretty horrible stuff to get your kids taken away, or at least monitored by the system - I'm talking like drug abuse and sexual/physical abuse. E is both fed, clothed, clean, and is not around drugs and isn't getting beaten up and is not neglected in the terms of the way the law defines "neglect" (regardless how you guys see it). There is nothing anyone can do. Just because they keep her awake longer than what most parents would do, or put her in warmer clothes than necessary, it doesn't mean it's anything to get CPS involved with. I'm not saying their parenting skills are great, but I'm just saying this is not a CPS case.
Maybe not right now but it's not a kick in the ass off it - you maybe didn't watch the vlog but jofatty was spinning her round in circles to make her eyes go wonky while Anna jeered him on like a demented chimp. Most reasonably minded people wouldn't do that to a dog Nevermind their newborn baby who they have a duty of care over. Doesn't take much googling to find out this could be a bad thing if done too aggressively which would be easy to happen since jonathan regards her as just another puppy and doesn't treat her gently - "“The rotation of the floating brain about its center of gravity causes diffused brain injuries and subdural hematoma,”

While the point is raised anyway I really don't get why you come here JaJa its like you climb up on your high horse and try to make us change our opinions which really isn't going to happen so long as they neglect their baby, don't train their dogs and freeload. You seem to spend a hell of a lot of your time defending them then randomly chuck in a BS not so nice comment to keep on topic every so often. I suggest making a topic in the rave about a guru section. Bye.

I think Emilia has experienced that her movement attrackts the dogs to snap at her (like Theo who grabbed after her socks). So she sits still and the dogs leave her alone. But thats for sure not good for her physical development.

I feel bad for E to have been born into the hands of such inept people. I can't fathom why anyone would let their six dogs loose onto their baby and don't set any boundaries or discipline. A&J Are selfish -- they pick the title of "OWNER OF SIX MALTESE" over the title of parents and they constantly pick their dogs over E. It isn't fair for her. Imagine when she gets older and there are other children. E would be pushed to the side even more.

Kind of have to hope they don't have anymore. The way he seems to be about money just now and trying to stir up views / comments would suggest they couldn't afford to have another kid anytime soon.

My take from their X-Mas Vlog....

1. Screaming "It's Christmas", dogs barking. E gets her ear drums blown off. Deaf.

2. Dog licks E right on the mouth. I don't even let my dog lick me on the mouth.

3. Leave baby on the couch. Turn your back and do something else. Believe she is actually watching cartoons before she rolls over and breaks her head wide open on the floor. Mother of the Year!!! Go Anna!!!!!! :)

4. Wrap gifts for your dogs. Let them chew on the wrapping paper... I mean dogs know not to eat paper, right?

5. Act like a damn kid. An annoying one at that.

6. J goes around the kitchen annoying family members. Notice how no one responds to him. At all.

7. At 8:49... WTF...

8. Talk in squeaky voice at ALL TIMES.

Skipped through a lot so I missed some... feel free to add.

Anna sits at table doing nothing while her mother and siblings prepare dinner.
Emilia has a poo explosion and J has to change her. Anna says 'WEll, it's happened to me sometimes' - Her mother laughs loudly.
Emma has repeatedly asked not to be shown in the vlogs yet appears again in todays.
Whoever is talking to/playing with Emilia in MSD's house knows how to treat a baby. It actually brought a tear to my eye to see her get proper attention.

They obviously can't care for them as well as they should.
I know!!! My son just turned 2 months less than a week ago, and he can lift his head better than Emilia during tummy time. Also, when Emilia was on the couch...she just didn't move. Babies that age are like little wiggle worms. I know my son is like that, ESPECIALLY when laying on the floor (he is already trying to roll from back to front, I see Emilia can only roll over when she is on her tummy). The only thing I hear out of Anna's mouth is...oh she is so cute, look at her cute outfit, Emilia DON'T RUIN YOUR OUTFIT OR I'LL...., etc. Get your head out of your ass Anna...Emilia is a PERSON!

2. Dog licks E right on the mouth. I don't even let my dog lick me on the mouth.Jofus never showed authority and kept putting the dog next to Emilia instead of saying "NO!" and putting her ass on the floor.

3. Leave baby on the couch. Turn your back and do something else. Believe she is actually watching cartoons before she rolls over and breaks her head wide open on the floor. Mother of the Year!!! Go Anna!!!!!! :) SMH at that part. She can roll now...That poor baby is going to end up on the floor!)

4. Wrap gifts for your dogs. Let them chew on the wrapping paper... I mean dogs know not to eat paper, right?
Caused a ruckus about this being Emilia's first Christmas...however...never got to opening her presents for her.
5. Act like a damn kid. An annoying one at that.
Running around the living room like a loon blowing that damn whistle, then banging on the keyboard...Infants have sensitive ears....
6. J goes around the kitchen annoying family members. Notice how no one responds to him. At all.
He gets banned from the kitchen because he kept messing around opening the oven and touching the food (I swear he is more infantile than Emilia)
7. At 8:49... WTF...

8. Talk in squeaky voice at ALL TIMES.

9. Spins Emilia around so hard that her eyes go all over the place...then tries again to get it on camera. All because he said "It's fun" WTF?!

Skipped through a lot so I missed some... feel free to add.
I added a few things in bold ;)

I am struggling to see how spinning her around repeatedly for amusement is physically so different from a baby being shaken? :( I would be so afraid that it could hurt her :|

Thanks for adding ladies... I skipped through some of it because I honestly cannot take it.
They are so rough with her ... her eyes rolling is obviously a sign that she's dizzy. Dumb fu*cks.
I didn't see that part...honestly I don't want to.

PS: What parent in their right mind thinks whipping a baby back and forth is funny? or fun? Esp new parents ...this is their first kid you'd think they would be extra careful etc. But no-they're acting like E is their 18th child and that they know everything.... even that family on tv who has like 20 plus kids is more careful...wtf just WTF?~!

This is what I was thinking. I don't even have kids and can see it doesn't seem like the best thing to be doing and if its messing up your kid's eyes then its not a healthy thing to be doing to them. Gentle rocking sure... Spinning her around like a doll, no.
The scary part is this is what they choose to show people, I dread to think what didn't make the editing cut. What disturbs me is they say Anna's mum watches the vlogs - how can she not see an issue with what's going on and teach them how to properly handle that baby.

The longer these types of vlogs go on the more it seems that little girl is a cash cow / dress up dolly to them. I wouldn't be surprised if her first words were 'you're so cute' or 'don't mess up your outfit'

Hmmm ok if that was filmed the day before yesterday, and Jofus tweeted yesterday that Emilia was teething (probably just meaning she is crying a lot) then I wonder if the two are connected. Usually teething can start around 4 months, but I dunno if that is the case. She was probably crying because her little body couldn't handle the spinning (fun) that her parents were doing to her. Ahh I dunno I just thought it was interesting to mention.

My oldest started teething a 2 months, and got his first tooth at 4 months old. But i cannot even fathom spinning a baby like that. Who would even think that way?

True. I just meant on average it is usually 4-7 months, and knowing A and J... things seem to happen to them when the books say so ;) (Her pregnancy for example). Although you are right a baby can get a tooth as early as 3 months and as late as a year (like my daughter, which was a good thing because she was breastfeeding lol).

They have been mentioning teething for at least a week now, and Emilia just seems too.... placid to be teething..well from my experience with it anyway. lol. I think they may have spun her until she didn't feel well, causing her to possibly be off the next day. We shall see though in today's vlog what he is talking about.
