Yeah she needs to stop trying so hard with the events. Remember how awkward their 100,000 subscriber party was?? Especially since they were only at like 98,000 subscribers hahaha. Looked like it was mostly family and friends, one or two fans, and a few warm bodies pulled in off the street.

Oh I forgot about that “party”. Wasn’t that at the YouTube space in Toronto? She made a comment just last week about that spot, she basically said she’s too good for them and doesn’t go there anymore. I can read between the lines, she was probably demanding a statue to be erected in her honour or a shrine set up with a photo of her holding her YouTube button.

In reality I think she just realized she didn’t belong there, it’s full of people sharing creative ideas and who know how to edit.

The comment about none of her fans showing up for the joe fresh event reminded me about that one time she had a meet up in a coffee shop and like 2 people appeared also.. did anyone else notice that her massive Christmas party she was promoting was just a Canadian tire event? And also, no one hardly showed up I feel like that is the writing on the wall.

So I just watched that Christmas 'party' vlog... whoa that was rough. She kinda blames the 10d notice for low turnout--ouch.

Then I stupidly decided to waste time reading the accompanying blog (aka Paderno ad, shout out to Canadian Tire)... what nonsense:
"We chose Paderno because of it’s amazing reviews of quality and the price that fit our soon-to-be-newlywed budget. To be honest, I was coming from brands like Henckels, and Lagostina..."
HUH? These alternate brands, like Paderno, have sets at different price points and some run $2000... she keeps saying how she did not come from money and lived rather meager before Dan...so how could she afford this cookware from the other brands mentioned? I almost wonder if part of her deal with Paderno was to mention competitors products as being passed over(i.e.,as though they picked Paderno over them).

I dunno. I just do not believe anything this woman says anymore.

She also used to have a Breville espresso machine a few years ago, those things are like $800+. There’s no way she could have afforded that back in the day. She doesn’t have it anymore so I guess she got bored of it and sold it. I wonder if it was a wedding gift or if she bought it for herself somehow. Seems like a pretty high end thing to either register for or purchase yourself when you’re the only coffee drinker in the house and you’re on a “soon-to-be-newlywed budget.”

I'm just so annoyed with the belly flexing or "engaging". Nobody walks around with their belly engaged. I actually watch and like Alexandra Gater's channel and on her spa trip vlog with Elle, her belly seemed bigger looking then compared to her more recent pregnancy update. Be proud and stick that belly out Elle! Your baby girl is growing inside it!

I actually started watching Alexandra Gater’s channel too and I like it! She’s great in front of the camera, her room makeovers are lovely, and her editing skills are .

Have any of you guys watched Melissa Maker’s channel? She’s a bit corny in front of the camera but I definitely enjoy her channel as well. Lots of really useful info. What I didn’t know is that she’s been on the Rachael Ray show to talk about cleaning and has also been hired by the FBI to give a workshop at their headquarters. Whaaaat. She’s legit.

I bet it drives Elle nuts that they are better than her hahaha.

Just saw Elle's Instagram... one would think that as a women in her 3rd pregnancy she'd have enough knowledge that she could really be helping out other mamas with product reviews or things that worked out for her kids. Omg I have been watching Alexandra Gater and I just looked at her subscriber vs view count. She has 56,000 subscribers but her videos have very consistently high numbers, some videos have several hundred thousand views. She started the channel only 7 months ago and only posts a few videos a month.

Her video with the lowest views by far (7000) is the Ste Anne’s spa day/planning a friend’s gender reveal video hahaha. That must cheese Elle off so bad. I’m sure she’s noticed. There’s another video with Elle that has 26,000 views but I’m sure that’s because it’s a Target haul.

The amount the spend on bedding for the baby made me cringe. Little unicorn is a nice brand, we bought a crib sheet, one swaddle and the towel. Each of those being 30-35$. The quilt alone is about $70.
The towel sucks, it’s small and pills quite a bit. The crib sheet collects literally everything. Any hair or piece of dust.
I honestly wish I wouldn’t have spent as much money as we did on that stuff.

There’s so many better options.
