The amount the spend on bedding for the baby made me cringe. Little unicorn is a nice brand, we bought a crib sheet, one swaddle and the towel. Each of those being 30-35$. The quilt alone is about $70.
The towel sucks, it’s small and pills quite a bit. The crib sheet collects literally everything. Any hair or piece of dust.
I honestly wish I wouldn’t have spent as much money as we did on that stuff.

There’s so many better options.

Instead of trying to promote joe fresh to those who have a limited budget, she could have done some good discount shopping. Getting good quality brands for a fraction of the retail price! I purchased bedding from Aden+Anais and Little Unicorn from TJX stores for $10-35... from fitted sheets to quilts. Honestly, the Little Unicorn items definitely balled up and pilled quickly and did not stay soft(though my toddler still likes them); the Aden+Anais definitely kept their softness better in my experience. I love TJX stores-- super nice quality at a MUCH lower price point...

Oh god that reminds me of that time she basically said she came up with the Konmari method years before and she wished she knew it would be so popular so she could have written a book about it. This was like 3 years ago that she commented this. She was talking about how she used to be a personal organizer and that her method was just like the Konmari method.

In reality I think she just worked at like a Jean Machine and she thought she could implement the method that clothing stores use to fold clothes on display in someone’s home closet.

She’s always copying other people’s style, methods, tactics, ideas, etc

I’m halfway through reading Rachel Hollis’ book Girl, Wash Your Face. You know, the book that Elle raved about when it came out a year ago. Well, the stuff Elle copies from this Rachel Hollis chick is unreal! She totally inspires to be her and has been ripping her off for a while now. I’ve noticed little things that Elle says is exactly what Hollis says. Even the friggin Louis Vuitton bag! It’s literally from a page in her book! Hollis talks about how she gave herself a goal that when she made a certain amount of money off a client that she would go out and buy a LV purse to show herself that she “made it” in her career. Isn’t that exactly what Elle did???

Elle. The woman who never wears designer anything. Never heard her mention designer names like Prada, Versace, Yves St Laurent, not even Coach! But yet it was her dream to own a LV purse to show how she was being successful in her “career”. Even tho she inspires to be a vegan.

This girl can’t even come up with her own goals and ambitions. She’s always trying to be someone else but she’s like 10 years too late.

Oh and I just noticed that she has a folding board that she used in a recent blog that fold shirts the regular way. She literally was not folding the konmari method in that vlog. And on today's video she says she's been doing it for years and have made it her own which makes it better.

Yup and weren’t she and Dan talking about the Konmari folding in the last video saying it wasn’t really for them? Especially the sock method?

Love how she’s like I hope this makes Konmari folding easier for you to understand, I know so many people are confused by it. What on earth does her video have to offer that the hundreds of Marie Kondo videos on YouTube OR EVEN HER ENTIRE NETFLIX SHOW don’t already offer? How are all those highly produced videos with clear video instructions directly from the woman who came up with it all, confusing?

I totally forgot she said that!!!! Hahahaha I remember now!! It’s so true that she is always trying to be something she isn’t. And she contradicts herself so friggin much it’s a joke. She’s ONLY doing all these konmarie videos because it’s the latest trend and she is desperately trying to keep her view count up. She would be much more successful if she came up with original content and focused more on her life than trying to be like other people. I think that’s what makes her so inauthentic, she literally can’t be authentic because she doesn’t even know what is authentic to herself.

She sure is starting a lot of different series lately that no one asked for.

So in typical Elle fashion, she had to eject herself in her MIL’s story several times. I especially enjoyed her story about the pseudonym name and how she is so much smarter than gifted Dan. Also, her story about Dan financially supporting her and how his parents were soooo supportive .... I noticed the MIL didn’t add any comment about that one.

I’m sure Elle meant well with this vlog but she just can’t help herself and needs to direct the story towards herself whenever she can.

Also, for a self proclaimed perfectionist and professional (ie when she deleted Forde’s unedited video because it wasn’t up to her standards) the picture and sound quality were horrendous.

Anyone else notice she posted zero about Valentine’s Day. Not even a “check out my affordable and ethical outfit from Joe Fresh for our romantic, vegan dinner” post. Poor Dan probably had to work a double shift. She’s always posted before how they all exchange gifts.
