Well, this is all very hipster and very Portland. Farm-to-table, urban chickens, home-brewing, sewing your own clothes...it's trendy. Also, they never really follow through with their plans, so I'll be surprised if they do much of anything.
My question is how are they planning to really be self-sustainable. They have limited space to grow/store and a short growing season. They are just hobbyists AT BEST! Didn't Kelsey only can beets last year...YUCK!

She canned the big old tough beets she over grew. She planted a garden, but did not tend her garden. Like a previously said they don’t follow through with anything.
Also they shouldn’t add too much to that house. They will never get their money out of it.
Why am I getting a vibe that Corbin is not that angry or bothered with the negativity about the house this time? He seems even to be holding back a smile when mentioning it! Me thinks it’s a way to use it against Kels in a ‘I told you so’ about the house!
Also when he said the other day ‘I love the fact that my wife likes to cook!’ in his chauvinistic manner, she runs up to him to kiss him so desperately I cringed at the submissiveness displayed!

He also did the Q&A on hos own Kels could not be bothered! And he did hint negative feedback at the tiny house and the only part he likes is not the actual house but the garden!? I bet my bottom dollar he will sell and move!
I also thought it was super weird that it was just Corbin. If it has to be a Q&A with just one of them I would 10x rather see Kelsey. It seems like this was just filler (not that I'm surprised) because they didn't have a vlog for today. I wonder if they are not vlogging every day and that's why they have these filler videos. I don't care how often they are vlogging, but I would appreciate a little bit of transparency there, i.e. "I'm filming a Q&A today because Kelsey and June are both under the weather, so we just didn't have the energy to do a vlog." I mean, come on.
I agree! Kelsey should have been in the Q&A. He kept saying things like "Kelsey's going to do the garden" and "Kelsey's going to remodel the kitchen" — so maybe Kelsey should have been there to answer the questions.
Probably because he uploads ‘We are doing a Q&A’ then a second later goes into the bedroom( (nowhere else to go ,living room next to June’s bedroom) and answers pretend question all in one go! That way more laze around time?
Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, it does! A Hello Fresh ad that they say is their first meal cooked in the new kitchen. Have they been eating out for every meal? She says at one point that a drawer normally is full of Tupperware but she’s used them all.
Corbin, if your going to film a tour or someone showing something... film what they’re showing/explaining not just the person standing there talking and going through a drawer. She was talking about something, you never showed that.
That kitchen is so tiny and Kelsey is really unorganized! Why so many pieces of glassware? Why not put both the cake plates in the same place? The silverware drawer and that other one should be switched since you’d use those utensils when cooking.
Did they remove a door? That door jamb looks like something was removed there. Typical of them though, only do something halfway. Wonder if they had to remove it to get the refrigerator in.
Yesterday’s vlog only has 7000 views... how are they getting sponsorships? Wonder how low Corbin will let it go before finally getting a job?
All I heard was June screaming her lungs out in the background crying! I hope they didn’t lock her in her room to film in the kitchen I hope she had just woken up or sth she was screaming pretty loudly though!
Something I noticed was anytime Kelsey opened a drawer/cabinet that looked older and stained Corbin would turn away from it and focus the camera at Kesely vs what she was trying to show
I think Corbin is used to the more polished look of things where as Kelsey likes the older run down look of things. Everybody is saying Corbin is the one that is controlling but I think it’s quiet the opposite. I think Kelsey is the controlling one. She wants things to be a certain way and when they’re not all hell breaks loose(probably). She also posted a picture on instagram(or Twitter. Don’t remember) saying how she’s used to being in control but this years she’s had to learn how to let that go. Don’t get me wrong, Corbin’s know it all attitude is annoying but I definitely don’t think he’s controlling.
That kitchen is so tiny! They really can't even be in there cooking together because there isn't enough space. Those cabinets are so old and probably have so many coats of paint and that's why they are hard to open/close.
LOL at everyone in the comments asking where they store the food. Why didn't Kelsey show that room too? It's being used as part of the kitchen.
She's talking about adding a dishwasher, but it will likely have to go where those drawers she loves so much are because of the necessary water hookup from the sink. I don't think they can put it next to the fridge, which is what she seems to be hinting at. Do they know anything about houses? Obviously, you can do anything to a house if you have enough money, but I don't think they do.

Dishwasher will need plumbing so unless the plumbing is already there in the wall they can’t put it there without a major expense. On a personal memory, my high school friend family had a dishwasher which they had to roll across the floor and attach it to the kitchen faucet. I thought it was neat at the time now I think wow what a pain in the ass. Once it was on you could not use the sink. Kelsey would probably like that though.

Oddly enough, I got a "fancy" new dishwasher for V-day (sexy gift, LOL). We were just replacing an old one, but it was a pretty simple process. It just hooks up to the sink's plumbing and there is an electrical outlet under the sink.
They will have to start from scratch and probably lose the drawers or the cabinets on the other side. They'll have to change up the plumbing and add a way to plug in the dishwasher, but it's not a huge remodel...well, if they hire someone to do it for them.
That kitchen is so small it would give me anxiety (I have severe claustrophobia). I hope they never plan on entertaining people in that matchbox they call a house. For the amount of money they paid for it they probably could have something much bigger for the same price in a different neighborhood in the area, but they have to keep up the so called hipster charade that they like to portray. I live in South Jersey and for a house of that price you can have a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath 2000 sq ft home. They're out of their minds!

Totally agree!! And the way she had it "organized" was such a joke! That stressed me out just watching it. She wastes a whole ton of space on stuff I know she can't possibly use very often. All that glassware that you know they don't use, but was taking up previous real estate, was maddening. But I love that she had to remind us AGAIN of "there's a TON of storage in here!" Riiiiiiiight. Keep telling yourself that. There is absolute zero prep space. That would drive me nuts!
So Kelsey's out of energy planning a small b-day party that's THREE weeks away? Why do they do things they know will stress them out?? Just get a few pizzas, some family-sized bags of chips, ice cream and cake from the grocery store, maybe a few balloons from Dollar Tree and...DONE!
They don't need a theme, a fancy cake, one-time-use decorations and going overboard for a small family party. FFS, they don't have any friends, so it will just be their parents, maybe their siblings and June's cousin. June certainly won't give AF about any of it.
Didn't Kelsey even say she was going to be more authentic/minimalist and NOT be consumed with consumerism/IG moms/Pinterest? Seriously, if she's stressed about this it's her own fault. Planning June's birthday should take MAX one day...not three weeks.

Because she can’t snap out do like Missy does and the child gives her any meaning of importance so planning her party she wants that attention ‘Well done Kelsey’
Was surprised to see the minute Corby said he was surprised Kels chose the cake she did! She gave him such a dagger stare he immediately made amends to what he said in fear!

I caught that too. Made me laugh becAuse it was so obvious she wasn’t happy. Didn’t they already decide this whole party thing in Hawaii or someplace?
Wow Corbin overcame his fear and crawled under the house!!! Is this where the vent wasn’t hooked up that he’d talked about?
Oh God the passive aggression over the birthday cake order was palpable. Corbin saying he was surprised Kelsey changed her mind at the last minute and she shot him an angry look, and he quickly backtracks and says that was his favorite cake design too he was just surprised they agreed. Makes me think every little thing is an argument with these two.
I did find it laughable that Kelsey was too wiped out from moving to bake the birthday dessert (in three weeks), right after she talked about how she wants to be more hands-on and do more DIY and right after she went on and on about her stand mixer and what a quintessential homemaker she is. She wanted to be pregnant while moving. Can you imagine how that would have gone down? I'm still not sure what she does all day that's so exhausting, unless she's just mentally exhausted from being married to Corbin.
I guess the new house views are slumping because it's BACK TO FERTILITY!
Kelsey needs to educate herself. And, OMG, the midwife didn't even give her any real numbers? That's really weird. Don't they have MyChart (or something like it) if the midwife is also a nurse affiliated with a hospital system??
I wonder if the "midwife" was suggesting a low-carb diet to reduce inflammation?
Also, WHAT THE EFF is she so stressed about all the freaking time????
I have a feeling Corbin's "handyman" work is going to cause more problems than fix things.
