This is the first time on this forum I've ever REALLY thought 'someone should call CPS on these people'. I mean it, if she'll do this with her unborn child what's she letting slide for the older ones? I wonder how Angela feels about this. Probably 'I should adopt another so we're even again!'

Like YTer Andrea Mills who had another unassisted birth in her filthy carpeted floor bathroom. She had a complication and they had to call an ambulance after birth.

I think Angie might have blocked me on YT? I asked a question. Never got a response or a like from anyone. If she did that’s a witchy thing to do. I’ve never said anything to her on her own comments section. I unsubscribed.

Just seen this comment on her instagram - so she did all her own prenatal checks?? Tester her own urine? Took her blood pressure? Did blood tests to check for anaemia? Yep I’m sure she did all of that! I honestly can’t believe the absolutely ridiculous risk taking with such a precious gift Image

I was quite angry watching the video that she had wanted to put her baby at risk like that with having no assistance, but I had at least assumed she’d had normal prenatal care... hearing that she didn’t has made me even more so! She had no idea which way up baby was or whether there was an issue with the placenta or the cord or anything like that! I get that births can be over medicalised, especially from what I hear in the States but it’s just not worth putting your baby (or yourself!) at risk if something was to go wrong! I’m not against home births if the mother is low risk but you should at least have a trained midwife there. (Someone said midwives are illegal in NC though? I don’t understand why that would be? Is it because they aren’t required to have a degree like they are here in the UK? Just seems a bit crazy to me!)

I genuinely like Angela and her family. And I don’t have a problem with Ashleigh most of the time but unassisted births are why babies used to die so frequently (which is why the argument of that’s how women have done it for thousands of years doesn’t work). I do wonder if Angie had an issue with it as all of her pregnancies have been high risk as a result of the hyperemesis and therefore would’ve required very close monitoring throughout.

I never understood the point or appeal of an unassisted home birth. WHYYY would you willingly put yourself or baby in danger? To look bad ass and cool?

I had an accidental home birth (water broke and baby was born an hour later) and it was THE MOST TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE EVER
my poor husband had to fight back tears so he could catch our baby because the paramedics didn’t make it in time. I ended up having a retained placenta but fortunately I was transferred to the hospital. We were extremely lucky that our daughter was perfectly healthy and safe, but I don’t know why anyone would risk it. The ignorance is unreal. You’re not invincible, and doctors and midwives have extensive training for a reason

Wow, that must have been terrifying! I'm glad you're all well :) So yeah, things like this further prove my point that having trained staff with you during birth should be a must.

Does anyone else think that Angie may have 'accidentally on purpose' missed her niece's birth? She said she got the call to go around but she was "too busy getting ready" and didn't get there in time. Come on, she knows her sister has a million kids and it could be quick and why would she need to even get ready? Just chuck on some clothes surely.

I think she knew her sister was doing something incredibly risky and she didn't want to be associated with it if anything went wrong. She wouldn't want to risk her "brand" being hurt either

I'm undecided about Angela but was disappointed by the 'big news' too. Her eyebrows always bug me. CR seems like the primary parent?

I think the unassisted pregnancy and birth is appaulling. Did she not even have a scan to check for placenta issues and basic anatomy/fetal health? If not i've lost respect for that.

I'm a homebirther so i'm not hating on that choice, but i had full prenatal care in hospital, was 10 mins from the hospital jic, and had 2 midwives at birth - one for mom one for baby - as that is what's safest.

She had one ultrasound to check the position of the placenta and that's when they found out the sex as well. Other than that, she did not receive any prenatal care.

Just saw their RV trip announcement and I gotta say, I always notice in these sit-dows videos that whenever Angie asks CR to explain or tell something, she always ends up correcting him anyway so she's the one who actually says it. Sorry if this is nitpicky of me lol

Does her sister have her own thread for us to discuss this nonsense? She’s liking this ladies comment. This woman who clearly has pregnancy Issues and isn’t super educated is now contemplating an unassisted birth. This PROVES her advice is dangerous. Also the doctors wouldn’t circumcise your son without the vitamin K because they didn’t want him bleeding out you idiot.

This exact thing drives me crazy, she does it a lot. Anything he says, she feels the need to either interrupt and talk over him or just straight up correct him. How can he live with that? Putting out online is not right either, i can't imagine many men would enjoy their wives continually putting them down like that.

I have zero interest in watching these RV vlogs. Is this supposed to be relatable? Who the hell has the time or money to do this? And of course she's abandoned her personal channel again

Angie sure complains a lot. Takes her kids to the beach and then complains about it. Yes princess, it is difficult to take 7 kids to the beach but you chose to have 7 kids.

Yes the "renovations" are a joke. Has CR quit his job or on leave? I always thought it was extremely generous that he was allowed to work from home given his home is 7 kids being home schooled.

I think they said they would sit down and film a video about CR's situation with work, but my bet is that he quit because seriously, no work place (especially his which was a bank I believe?) is flexible enough to give you 1 month off
