I was positive for strep B and when I asked about immediately coming in once labor started, they said that wasn't necessary. I have short labors as well.

Here we're told we need four hours for the antibiotic IV to work before delivery. A long time ago with my oldest if you tested positive you did oral antibiotics and then were re-tested and if you still tested positive you got the IV. With youngest I was told that was no longer the procedure either hospital in town used and every positive person had to have their 4 hour IV.

No, I doubt her YouTube career will be in the past anytime soon. People who continue to hate watch her are giving her big bucks! As long as she’s getting money she will continue to do it. Once people stop hate watching her.. THATS when she’ll get a kick to her walletcjdonges_9 wrote:Buckeyebaby wrote:Two epidurals and a spinal block but her labor was sOoOo so so so painful
Must’ve been so bad Brit
Try 29 hours of labor no pain relief at all with being induced and contractions back to back the whole time . Oh and I broke my own water while I stood up when it’s ready to break it will ..... Brit has no clue what real labor is like .... unless you feel the ring of fire you can’t say shit . Wish frank would correct her on her video hahaha that’s why he wasn’t there for the video . She is going to crash and burn by summer time and her YouTube will be a thing of the past for sure !

Okay, so I just watched her birth story. I didn’t get the impression that she was lying about anything, maybe about Frank being sick?
I’ve never given birth, so correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like epidurals aren’t something your body “gets used to.” I think that anesthesiologists was just terrible at his job! He gave her 2 epidurals AND a spinal block?? Wtf wtf wtf
My aunt is a nurse (not sure what type but she has her PhD in nursing) We we’re talking about how my cousin delivered naturally because her labour was so quick there was no time for an epidural and I was like OMG I’d rather die lol... anyway, she told me when I give birth to tell her and she’ll make sure she administers my epidural and then I can relax, knowing it was done properly etc.
So long story short, I feel like Britney’s anesthesiologist was just shit at his job and he’s totally to blame for all the pain she went through

Sorry, and just to add... she said she still felt pain even after her second epidural + spinal block... that’s not normal... imagine she needed a c-section!

Try 68 HOURS in active labor. 62 unmedicated. She's full of it.cjdonges_9 wrote:Buckeyebaby wrote:Two epidurals and a spinal block but her labor was sOoOo so so so painful

Re: B&F: Happy Birthday Scarlett! (Part 60)
Honestly you guys, of course no shame in getting pain meds but natural labor is absolutely not as bad as some people make it look. Yes it’s painful but you have breaks between contractions, literally the only thing you need to do is breathe through the contractions. It is that simple.... now if you want to get two epidurals and a spinal go right ahead, your choice, but I for one would not rather die than go through natural labor. I gave birth naturally three time, didn’t dieMspenny wrote:Okay, so I just watched her birth story. I didn’t get the impression that she was lying about anything, maybe about Frank being sick?

It’s not a pissing contest ladies. Also, who are you to say the anesthesiologist was shit? He’s gone through 8+ years of schooling. I’m sure he knows what he’s doing. When I got my epidural I was still feeling pain and the anesthesiologist did nothing wrong. Mine never fell out, I never felt much pain from the needle besides a bee sting which was nothing in comparison to my contractions at the time. I also felt when pushing. I think brits problem is she puts too much expectation on pain relief. Labor hurts. Idc what your situation is. It all hurts. Sometimes it’s impossible to take away 100% of the pain. You can’t blame the anesthesiologist for it. Sure if he totally was negligent fine, but this one didn’t seem to be. Sometimes medications fail and sometimes they aren’t as efficient with certain people. Mine didn’t even numb my legs completely I could move them myself and I had to keep turning because it wasn’t spreading down both legs. I’d lay on one side and get meds to that side and then get turned but I never once faulted the anesthesiologist because of it. Because I didn’t go to school for 8 years and I’m no doctor. Britney lies and tries to show her life in a certain light so I won’t believe one word that comes out of that witches mouth. But please stop blaming people and bragging about your lengthy natural labor. In the end everyone gets a baby.
Re: B&F: Happy Birthday Scarlett! (Part 60)
Am I the only one that doesn’t give a flying F about her labor, or whether or not she had an epidural? So she pushed out her 4th kid, congrats. Most of us on this forum have had babies.
What is interesting to me is her lack of posting. I don’t believe for one second that all is well in Britney’s world.
