Yes exactly! I actually think every single mom SHOULD think their kid is the most special, beautiful, wonderful child ever. That's the way it is supposed to be. That's how I see my daughter too. The difference is that I know every mom thinks the same thing, I'm biased, and ultimately, my daughter is right on track. It does make me proud of her to watch her hit milestones, but I also know every kid is doing the same things. Corbin and kelsey actually think all other kids are beneath June. Ugh, the pretentious attitude is nauseating with these two!sasha186 wrote:This made me LOL so hard. Toddler personalities are mostly just "toddler."lavenderlove wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 9:40 am I was rolling my eyes at June being an "old soul". My daughter is also 2, and yes, I can see a lot of her fun personality. But a lot of her personality now is that she's a toddler. I don't know. I might be picking on this too much, but I just felt like it was her way of saying how advanced and unique June is. She's not like all the other 2 year olds! No guys. Your kid is just like all the other kids. Quit acting like she's some prodigy or genius.

And I get it - I think my kid is special, too. But I also logically know that she is just an on track toddler with the privilege of having a lot of love and encouragement from the people around her. Agree that June is a normal 2 year old who is hitting milestones when she is supposed to.
