Why is it so awkward to see them Be affectionate? Dan always looks so thirsty for attention and she looks like she’s so repulsed. (Instastories). Or is it just awkward cause he’s trying to hug his wife and she’s too busy hamming it up for the camera.

Also, someone posted a comment that Elle is obviously too drunk to notice yet because it hasn’t been deleted. It said something along the lines of “ if you haven’t posted your naked kid on YouTube are you even a mom”. I’m dying.

I have so many thoughts.

Her chin disappears when she laughs and I find it super unsightly. She needs to not make that face.

Why did she choose that moment to whip out her phone? Seemed like Dan was trying to have a sweet moment and she decided she needed to put out some content so that everyone can see just how knee-slappin’ hilarious she is.

Affection between them is definitely uncomfortable to watch. It’s like watching siblings make out or something. Pretty gross.

Seriously, those instastories were soooo cringy !! What was she thinking posting that. They looked like drunk snapchats you would send to your best friend, not blast it to the public of your awkward orca whale moment.

It feels like déjà vu for me actually, did any of you see the Cullen video with the fish tank? (From Cullen & Katie). It’s the one where he’s clearly high on something or drunk, he came out afterwards about his substance abuse. This is legit scary about Elle’s behaviour because yesterday was the anniversary of her mom committing suicide. Maybe she just had a glass of wine which I don’t blame her, it’s a tough time for sure reliving those memories while pregnant. A few sips of wine wouldn’t be so bad but those clips could be warning signs.

Is she trying to be relatable? Idk. She seems to need the validation that the internet gives her. Regardless of how much she puts her children at risk, gives her viewers flat out harmful advice, promotes consumerism, etc... as long as she gets her “fix” of validation (about her looks, weight, mommy worth, or relationship) shes happy!

On another note, she looked like a whale. Not someone eating 1200 calories per day

Even though her intent may not have been to hurt or offend, why she cannot acknowledge OTHERS is ridiculous. Questioning whether one is "a real mom" regarding anything is gonna be dicey. She should know her audience; anything to do with motherhood should be tread on lightly as she should be aware that her viewers include many women who are/have experienced infertility/loss.

I am sure there are times when the humor of others has upset her sensitivities... She is now coming off as a total self-absorbed asshat.

I can’t place my finger on it. Maybe it’s the fact that she keeps contradicting herself. Her phony posts/videos (either she eats like a bird or has pizza and ice cream). Her sense of humour lately is also off. She seems to think everything she does is hilarious and it’s other peoples issues.

She faked this infertility journey for views and new subscribers and then she blocks those people who are continuing to suffer because it makes her look bad.

I was never drawn to her to begin with. The only reason I started watching her was because I watch other cdn bloggers who kept mentioning her so I gave her a try. I think when I found out we live in the same town it made her seem more interesting or whatever. But lately I haven’t been able to stomach her.

Is it cockiness?

She was almost relatable when she was “struggling” to conceive. I feel like her personality believes that she has made everything happen for herself. So other women who can’t get pregnant it’s because of them: their relationship with God, or their marriage or that they aren’t as healthy as she is. Cockiness. Her “success” as a YouTuber, let’s be honest, if Dan didn’t fund her lifestyle, she would be stuck having a lamen’s job like teaching. Also, why did she only last one year in teaching? She never discussed that did she? I remember her saying an older teacher felt threatened by her because she was such a good teacher. If she was so good, why only one year?

She’s probably one of these people who think that you can do anything you want if you work hard because she had a rough start. And I believe that too. BUT and this is a big BUT, sometimes it’s not true, no matter how hard you try. Whether that’s getting pregnant or making money doing something you love. I think that’s what it is. She’s cocky. She’s now comfortable financially (thanks mostly to dan) and even though she tries to have this natural, minimalist vegan persona, she’s just as materialistic and shallow as ever. Sorry needed to get that rant out. Her last few stories have really rubbed me the wrong way. Especially her blocking teachit for what she wrote to another commentator

Nottablogger - I think you nailed it . Her cockiness is shining bright. Actually maybe it’s been longer than 4 months, it’s been showing more often since her LV bag purchase because now she’s a successful YouTuber and makes more money than channels that have one million subscribers (insert eye roll here...).

I didn’t. But shocker, she doesn’t like anyone who criticizes her. I’ve never said anything rude to her, and of course anything of a different opinion of hers is “judgement”

She always claims that she wants her “haters” or people who disagree with her to confront her and not hide on boards like this. Deleting my comments and blocking me just proves that it’s a lie, she wants NO criticism whatsoever from any one in any form.
