On IG Cullen and Gaines are at a daddy/daughter date event and there’s a donut bar. As if exposed donuts within reach of children’s germy hands isn’t gross enough, Cullen puts his foot up on the table to show off his donut socks!

So classy. My 4 year old has better manners than that!

Is Brooks really as badly behaved as they claim? I feel like Katie exaggerates it, especially in her ig stories.

That's the general opinion here. He doesn't seem to be that badly behaved, really. But Katie seems incapable of saying anything wholly nice about him. She always has to preface any compliment with some complaint about how crabby he is, or stubborn, or some other negative trait.

Gaines, however, is a perfect little princess and "exactly like me!" (In Katie's words)
And I'm sorry--- I think Gaines is bossy, loud, demanding, and spoiled. Although it's not her fault, obviously.
There was a very telling instastory a while ago, where Gaines was supposed to be the mommy and C&K and Brooks were her kids. Katie kept whining about Brooks being bad (as part of the "game", but it still didn't seem nice) and Gaines walked up to Brooks, stuck her face right in his and yelled something like "I have had it with you!" I can't remember the exact words, but they were really obviously something she had heard, not likely came up with on her own.

In my opinion Gaines is the one that is badly behaved, and Katie is raising her to be the spoiled unkind brat Katie herself is (I realized a couple of days ago maybe Katie is just not really a kind person because of something and how she said it, and when I thought about it I've never felt a truly sweet vibe), while I see Brooks sitting silently and calmly (and not being flanked by a parent at the kitchen island), waiting patiently while Katie is focused on Gaines Gaines, flanking Gaines and first unpacking Gaines' present (remember he is the youngest and should or is allowed to have less endurance, less psychological ability to wait, he is still really small, a toddler, while Gaines is a small kid).

I see him having positive interactions, I see him running and dancing, I see him being a boy, I see him having a different temperament but in a completely innocent way and with no negative connotations (like researchers did research with birds and they discovered there are 2 types of temperament, the outgoing exploratory, and the passive. I believe Gaines is of the latter with being afraid for everything and Brooks is the first). I see Brooks being an example for Gaines with Gaines copying Brooks' initiatives on a regular basis, so lets just be honest with this last example: Brooks >> Gaines. While he is younger. That's part of what I see.

Another thing worth mentioning or repeating is that I see no interaction between Gaines and her little brother...and the small amount of times that she doesn't ignore his existence she is dominant, unkind, shouting tone of voice, commending Brooks around as if being Better & Higher, because that's what Katie is implicitly teaching her by the way she is treating Gaines and Brooks. And I see Brooks saying he doesn't want to marry Gaines....enough said, lol, well maybe not because siblings don't want to marry each other and boys want to marry their mamma, but Katie tried to turn this around by blaming Brooks and insinuating he was a bad kid, sighing and complaining and finding excuses to call him "difficult". When I was 3 yo and my brother was a baby, the first thing he did when he woke up from his nap was calling my name and calling for me, every day, my mother told, I didn't know. That is what I call a normal interaction between 2 small siblings. And Gaines is at the age she should find her little brother cute. Well we do, we think he's cute, we and Cullen do! Also Katie has mentioned several times that the kids fight. And I don't believe Brooks is starting these. In short, in the vlogs we mostly see Gaines ignoring Brooks' existence (not grown over natural jealousy), and the other times dominance, unfriendly, impolite and trying to steal his show (she is still doing the latter).

Another dig at Brooks in Katie’s latest Instagram post... She wrote about how they had a mother/son date (it’s about time) at the Mexican restaurant, but of course had to mention that he fell out of the booth because “he wouldn’t stay seated.”

Jeez. I almost think a mother son "date" (I loathe that term) might actually be worse for Brooks than not having one.
She really can't say anything nice about him without adding something negative, can she?
And the above comment about Katie not really being a nice person-- I think you're spot on. I think she is nice on the surface because it makes _her_ look good. But I think she's a spoiled snob. And I don't think she goes out of her way for anyone else.

I saw she got him a sensory swing which is amazing. My daughter is nuts (like they say Brooks is) until she gets sensory input she needs. Moving heavy items, lifting heavy things, pushing totes across the floor, swinging high in a swing, using a compression vest. Once he gets the input, he is a different kid. Very much like Brooks. I’m thinking he has some Sensory issues and would do very well in OT.

What did they do with that sensory board Cullen made Gaines?

Anyone know how far from the big tornado they are? They usually say something on social media when there's scary weather around. Honestly, they usually make sure everyone knows there is crazy weather! And they're silent on social media today.

Oh dear god, the Meechams are on the Disney cruise too! According to their latest Instagram photo it was a complete surprise. Yah sure it was. I was actually looking forward to seeing their trip but not happening now!

They need to get their narrative straight. It is just so obvious that they're not really friends.
The Gardner Quad Squad is going too. It's going to be a loud trip..

It really shows E&J's character. It shows you exactly how little they really care about so called friends, even if it's just for work purposes. E&J have said nothing publicly about this trip (that i have seen anyway) so we can't really blame C&K for not knowing. It's just sad that Ellie and Jared can't even find the time to scroll through YT and even look at thumbnails!!!

Not exactly. It’s a huge creator event. If any of them wanted to know if their friends were going, they could have reached out and asked. Ellie didn’t say where they were going, but she mentioned they were going to do FL in the spring, and has been talking about going on a trip somewhere for the last few weeks on social media, and mentioned packing in the vlogs.

Following one another’s vlogs doesn’t make them friends, talking to on another on a personal level even when no one is watching (social media) does. None of them are real friends. This is fine, but don’t try to sell everyone on some fake best-friendship, and don’t ruin a nice family opportunity with your kids by forcing them to awkwardly hang out with strangers the entire time.

Like I said earlier, I would rather pick up other sponsorships and pay to do Disney my way.
