Saying you are "BFF's" with work friends in a work setting (bc all social media is work for them) and actually claiming they are genuine friends are two totally different things though... at least i think it is. They talk about their real friends in real life a lot more than they do E&J, and even then talking about real friends isn't that often. Even when they hang out with them (like a couple weeks ago when they went bowling with friends and their kids.) they don't talk about it much. Which is fine, just saying that calling someone your "BFF" while drumming up vlog views is work talk, going bowling with actual friends is personal life. Last time i think they even mentioned E&J or B&M was what? Christmas? When they sent obligatory gifts to each other?

Brooks meeting Mickey was the cutest thing ever.

So freaking adorable. Kinda got me a little emotional thinking about my kid's first trip to Disney. My son was ENAMORED by Cinderella and we have some of the cutest pictures of the two of them. He wore that lipstick kiss on his cheek all day and kept asking us if it was still there. So cute.

But then this goes both ways. You can’t say E&J not knowing C&K were going says something about their character. They have no obligation to watch one another’s vlogs. They all definitely do act like they are friends in real life, but only when convenient.

I don’t call my work friends BFF’s either. At least not as long as I’ve been an adult.

I don’t think C&K are any more genuine than E&J are.

Only when it's convenient is the point here. I don't think they are genuine friends, i think it's completely for show and vlog footage. E&J do not seem like people Cullen and Katie would be friends with in real life (especially not Katie and Ellie).

No obligation to watch vlogs, but a casual scroll through YT and seeing C&K's thumbnail would be enough to clue in even dimwit Ellie that they were going on this trip. They weren't hiding it for some huge "surprise" like E&J were. But hell, they are so far behind we wont hear about prep for this trip until like 2 weeks from now. If playing friends with people is part of the job, they should at the very least know what they have posted about on social media in the recent past.

Of course you or I wouldn't call work friends BFF's, but it's not our job to act cool to the kids and tween demographic either...

On the friendship thing-- there have been several times that they have posted pictures of themselves face timing with E&J. And C&K went and stayed with them (not at a convention, just visiting) and didn't E&J go visit right after Tommy was born? I don't count hanging out at Playlist or VidCon, or even the DBEJCK vacations, but visiting someone separately makes me think that they want us to believe they are really friends.
I just find the whole "We're SO surprised!" bit OTT and annoying. Even if you aren't really BFF's, this isn't a random trip, and "wow, we're going at the same time! Imagine that!" It's a Creator trip. So wouldn't you be saying "Hey we are going on this great free trip for YouTubers. Are you going?" even with people you aren't close to? I would.

Last night in Katie’s IG stories Brooks was trying to pull Katie to the dance floor. She was refusing and Jared tells her to give him the phone so she can dance. In the next story Jared is filming, but Brooks doesn’t want to dance anymore. I thought that was kinda sad.

I just wish I could enjoy watching Brooks in these instastories without Cullen yelling so much and filming himself... Brooks is just having such a blast. It was really sweet when he met Buzz Lightyear. My son would have been over the moon to meet Buzz.

I only occasionally watch their vlogs because Cullen is so annoying. Anyways, does Brooks have some type of learning disability? I don't know if they ever discussed this on their channel but there's something about him.

They are in WDW at sunrise and both the kids have pajamas on. Gaines hops out of the stroller to meet Goofy and SHE"S BAREFOOT... what on EARTH....
Looks like they put real clothes on them right after that, and shoes.. but I'm pretty shocked. Katie has never let those kids out of the house in just pajamas before.
I guess you could counter that with it being SUPER early, and it's vacation and it's clear that they were not in PJ's long, but i can't see any excuse for Gaines being barefoot. Even Goofy's "handler" was like "that must be cold on the feetsees!!"

I think Brooks is fine. He stutters some, and part of the problem with his speech is that he _always_ has that pacifier in his mouth. I think Katie uses it so that she doesn't have to deal with him. But a serious learning disability? Nah.

I agree. He's a bright, curious kid. He's got that little stutter and like you said the sassy doesn't help, but he strings together sentences well, did well with the game Katie set up with the letter matching. I don't see any real signs of something serious..

We stay at the Disneyland Hotels every time we go, and we do the Magic Mornings (early morning entry) all the time, but parents don’t generally bring their kids in pjs. Everyone is ready for the day because you stay all day. If we are talking about Cullen’s IG, that’s just the normal magic morning. It isn’t a pj party. PJ parties are after hours, and the characters also wear pjs.

PJs or not though, the kids should still have shoes on.

Seriously though, it’s expensive to stay at the resort hotels, but it’s so worth it for the early entry, and to stay within the magic

Gaines is the quiet, timid observer (which kills me about her personality bc she is so often wanting to be the center of attention as well) where Brooks is the dive in head first, think about it later kid. I love that he is completely in his element and loving every second. I hate that Gaines isn't really loving it at much (although i bet when they get home she will talk about how great it was for ages) but she seems completely overwhelmed and overstimulated while Brooks is LIVING HIS BEST LIFE... LOL

I'm glad Katie was able to get in a massage and some spa time for her birthday today. I know she was bummed that she didn't get to go on Valentine's like they had planned and a little bit of relaxation on her birthday in the middle of a whirlwind Disney trip with two preschoolers is always amazing.

I know that Katie has said before that Brooks is so wild and crazy but in their Instagram stories today they sang happy birthday over some cupcakes and Brooks was being super patient. Gaines on the other hand was getting up and being impatient about them and demanding which one she wanted. I don't know, Brooks just seems like a normal little boy to me. Gaines also gave Brooks a glare when he and Katie shared a cute moment while singing happy birthday. They really need to work on strengthening the kids relationship and work on the jealousy issues. Maybe Katie is always with Gaines and Brooks with Cullen cause Gaines gets jealous of Katie and Brooks relationship.

On Katie's IG Story, she was showing how Brooks ended up in a ball, bum in the air with his feet crossed sleeping. That's exactly how I find my daughter (she's a month older) sleeping too with her lovey tucked underneath and I find it extremely adorable!
