Yes I’m extremely curious about what happened between her and Randy and Anna. I have a suspicion that it may have something to do with Elle’s “infertility”. I don’t believe she actually had true infertility, and I think she was really riding that train to get YouTube views and I’m assuming they called her out on it because, obviously that’s extremely insensitive to anyone with actual fertility issues.

I’ve also noticed the lack of mention of Melissa lately. I think Elle needs to have better boundaries in friendships. Did anyone else find it extremely strange that she called Melissa to tell her she was pregnant before ever telling Dan? Dan had asked her too, who she had already told and she said “it’s because I needed to surprise you”. I’ll bet he was so hurt by that. I’m positive there were discussions off the record about that! Also... Melissa’s reaction, “ I’m so excited for you, I just can’t sounds too excited because I am in a chipotle eating right now” yea... cause ya don’t really care! Just tell Elle off already!

On top of this, in the gender reveal video, Elle immediately called Melissa and said Riley (Melissa’s daughter) was getting a little sister. Talk about cringey lack of boundaries. Super weird.

YES! I forgot about this!!! That’s so cringe! I had to go back and watch the video I also find it odd how she seems more friendly with Melissa than her life long friend Veronica. It’s like she is only calling Veronica to get medical advice because of her husband. If she didn’t have a use for Veronica, that friendship would be dead. She seems way more interested in chatting with her new BFF Melissa about it all. It’s also glaringly obvious she was hoping for twins because #contentfordays. You can tell it was discussed ahead of time by the way it was brought up during that call. God, could you imagine if she would have had twins... obviously it would have been a blessing from God because he thinks she deserves it more than anyone else for all of the fertility struggles she had... blessed be her womb.

In their latest vlog, it just hit me, that they have virtually no seating in their house. I think that makes it obvious that they never have guests over, which I think highlights her lack of friendships. There is no way I could get away with one couch in my house, also someone previously mentioned their itty bitty dining table, another thing I could never get away with I have also only ever seen Elle get together with a “friend” for a coffee date with kids one time, and I’ve been following her for years! Since before she was married!

Elle says she’s has a lot of “friends” but they are mostly fellow church members and she has 2-3 friends from way back. Then there are the odd youtubers that she calls “friends”.

I remember she did that one sponsored ad for Downey and it was a “hand me down clothes” party where she had two girlfriends come over and they swapped kids clothes.

Those “friends” looked so awkward like they didn’t realize they would have to be filmed for visiting with Elle. Also, she clearly doesn’t believe in second hand clothing or else she would show more of that since she calls herself “minimally minded”. I think the girls knew the video was a sham and they were forced to go along with it.

I really can’t stand her living room!! That couch is way too small for that space. “Oh we can move the foot stool over there for someone to sit on”. Really?? How uncomfortable is that ??!! That couch isn’t even big enough for a family of 5, and adding one chair in a corner isn’t going to help cause it’s so far away and awkward.

And when is she going to realize she doesn’t have space for that piano and she donates it. ... it’s such an eye sore.

Stretch marks are when I realized I hated her. She went on and on about how she didn’t get them because she used XYZ lotion and ate healthy and drank water. No. I had hypermesis with my first baby and threw up 10x a day until 9 months. I went from 118-129 pounds the WHOLE pregnancy. I was tiny. Still got stretch marks (like my mom, and grandma... it’s almost like it’s genetic?!)

For me it was all the talk about unmedicated ( or her word: “natural”) births. I’ve given birth both with and without an epidural and both experiences were great. Her videos made me feel bad about my epidural, like I had somehow failed. She put SO much emphasis on it. The kicker for me was when she said labour makes her feel closer to God because she’s paying the price for Eve eating the forbidden fruit. What the actual fuck.

Also, I hate her decor and always will. She has zero taste. Why isn’t that sideboard under the TV in the loft moved to the living room? It’s way more appropriate there than that tiny side table they have under their living room TV? Art spaced way too far apart. Cheap furnishings. Couch way too small for her space and like 20ft across the room from the TV, cheap dining table, awful kitchen renovation. I could go on. The only things I like in her house are her fig tree and monstera plant (that I wish she would use a moss pole with so that it can stop flopping down all over the place). Drives me crazy.

Wow. I actually never watched the birth vlogs, I had unmedicated but still find the “natural is BEST anything else is an excuse” attitude disgusting. Not shocked by her comments but WOW

Yes, I remember her saying she felt closer to God. What the actual fuck is right. Her Christianity is so far removed from what it should be, I can’t handle it anytime she brings it up. She has it all wrong. I also hate when she does instastories in church... not the place or the time Elle. Can you imagine what her fellow church goers are thinking of her while she whips out her camera to film in church?!

And I agree about her decor, it is honestly the worst I have ever seen, and I could go on for days about that kitchen renovation. It is SO cheap looking! They will have such a difficult time ever reselling that house due to the horrendous shit she’s done to it, like that awful colour she painted the bathroom vanity But her furniture houses are the worst, her home is so extremely unwelcoming. Nothing cozy about it.... kind of like her..

I hadn’t even thought of that. I guess Cohen is home some days but this gives a better reason why her house is so clean all the time - there are no kids home to really mess it up. It also makes me wonder why she needs so much ‘me time’ considering her days can be spent basically how she likes.

Semi-Unrelated - I just read an article about Lilly Singh getting her own show and she says ‘people are very good at recognizing when a creator is just saying something for the sake of saying something’ and authenticity being the key to success.

Videos and content shouldn’t feel forced to the viewers if you want it to succeed. It shouldn’t always be changing who you are to try to be viral again. I don’t truly believe Elle is changing. I always got the impression she was changing only in an effort to further her channel.

I bet that annoys Elle. I’m not saying kids should have a lot of toys and be spoiled but maybe if they had some more toys they actually enjoyed (aesthetic be damned) their house would be a bit messier but the kids would enjoy themselves more.

I’ve noticed this with a lot of youtubers lately. Not having a bunch of brightly coloured fun toys. I get not wanting to have a lot of toys, but kids and babies need bright colours to stimulate them.
Yt moms care more about the aesthetic of toys than the actual function
