YouTube turned off all comments. They sent out emails asking family channels to leave them off to help them while they figure out how to fix the issue. They told them they could turn them on but suggested they don’t. Their comments were down for about 12 hrs then they were back so they turned them on and went back and did for each video. A few others have done it but most are just leaving them off.
Can someone please explain to me why YouTube cut off comments in the first place? I missed a thread or so while on vacation. I know it has to do with pedophiles but is it just supposed to stop them from commenting?

People (predators) would comment time stamps of things for others to look at (kids in diapers, etc). That's my understand is it was until YT can come up with a solution to protect children.
I know this was brought up a convos ago. I'm just now catching up. But I get those bruises specifically on the sides of my thighs because I have borderline hashimotos/hyperthyroid disease. And I only get them if I run out of my meds or forget to take them. This girl should really get checked. It affects everything in your body and her eating like crap affects it even more.

i agree. She said in a video awhile ago that she had bloodwork done but may have not had thyroid checked. It was when she first started working out. Because some (including myself) wondered if it was due to her bad form,

I saw on FB that a channel with a really admirable purpose to increase aware around children with special needs had their comments disabled! All the comments surrounding them always were positive and supportive and the children were always very protected and respected in the videos from what I can see. So bizarre that they had their comments disabled, but channels like KK still have theirs.
I’d be very interested to see some details on how YT is deciding who gets theirs disabled or not

If I had bruises on my legs I’d use makeup to cover them up if I was doing a photoshoot. I’d probably also get checked my a doctor. Bruising that often and easily is definitely a sign that something is off with your health.

Well that’s kind of what their channel was becoming, idk if that’s who you saw but Rob has a cousin who has autism and people loved him in their vlogs and Rob said he wanted to bring awareness about autism after he mentioned a time he had to leave some place because someone kept staring at his cousin and thought that was disrespectful. As well as his little brother who he wanted to adopt when he had money and they always had positive comments and had good supporters. They don’t even really vlog now because they got real life jobs when they saw YouTube wasn’t cutting it. Kk doesn’t deserve the freedom YouTube gives them.

And it sucks because kk’s comments are still on. AND they post stuff like Jackson digging down his pants. It’s disgusting but predators love that and are probably eating their channel up.
I’m calling it now. Today’s vlog title will be along the lines of “Found me an office” In yesterday’s vlog she mentioned to Khoa that they had “something” to do the next day and then yesterday she was pretty absent on her stories. Usually meaning she’s up to something like her next new obsession/project/shitshow. There’s also a new pic on her stories that looks like a new rug somewhere that doesn’t look familiar like she’s already decorating.

Well I don't see how comments would deter that behavior. It just makes it harder for YouTube to identify the predators if they can't use the comments to eliminate their accounts.

It takes away the quick fix of time stamps that lead to suggestive poses or other stuff. The sad truth is that as long as there's content with children on the internet, pedophiles WILL find a way to get off to it, and even if everybody stopped uploading shit, they'd get desperate enough to go digging for child pornography. YouTube is just applying a bandaid to the festering, gaping abscess that is underage sexual content.

So Khoa is moving out of his space and they are both going to use it lol. She says it was cheaper then getting a bigger office space they could both use. On the surface it makes sense but with them they don’t do anything they need a damn apartment for.
