1. Corbins voice is like nails on a chalkboard. He just has this natural nasal whine about him that makes you want to throat punch him.
2. I do not have high hopes for those poor chickens. Corbin "I was raised on a farm....well... live on one for a couple of years." And Kelsey who is the biggest airhead. June is either going to kill one by loving it too much or Paris will kill them all.
3. Does Kelsey only own one shirt ?

They really don't seem to reseaech anything before diving head first into something.ewokfan11 wrote:Yeah, the way Corbin worded getting the chicks makes me think they know they'll kill a few...or all of them...because of mistakes. Then they will say they are new to this and didn't know what to do.spiralstatic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 8:35 am Those chicks will outgrow the container in no time. They really should have bought a much larger one. Where they live, I don't see it being warm enough to put them out in the coop until they are much older. Definitely more than the six weeks Kelsey said. Our current babies are right at a month old and they are just big enough to go into the garage into a massive crate and a heat lamp. It's too cold outside at night still. We probably baby ours too much, but I took advice from experienced Chicken People and haven't killed any of mine yet with stupid mistakes
I hate to say this, but June is pretty rough and I wouldn't be shocked if she killed one. They really don't seem to actually discipline that kid.
Just wait until they have to start dealing with the smell as they get bigger and still need to be inside with a heatlamp. It's a huge no to put a heat lamp out in a relatively small coop like theirs.
I thought his wording left room for an "oops, must have been sick chicks" or something else as an excuse when one or all of them inevitably die. They also really need to watch Paris closely with them and make a lid so they don't jump get eaten. Or hurt themselves.

According to Corbins IG post, they're calling that tiny postage stamp house on a tiny lot in the middle of hipster town, Wander Homestead. Lmao. These two are beyond desperate to sell themselves as something, yet they stumble through so many failed identities. I see he already dropped family of journalists from his profile. What a joke.

Am I the only one who caught Corbin saying that Kelsey's friend told them that getting adult chickens is not a good idea because there is usually something wrong with them? You could tell he was bothered by even saying Kelsey's friend so that tells me he was talking about Missy. Apparently Kelsey and Missy still talk and Mr. Controlling Douche Canoe is not pleased! Poor, Poor Corby!

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
They really do seem to rush into new things without properly thinking things through. I mean, just the house alone seems to be a rushed mistake. Not to be rude, but baby #2 also seems like a rushed mistake. Now five chickens? Kelsey said she has a problem with smells now that she's knocked up, so won't the chickens make her nauseous?
I agree. The chicken "friend" was probably Missy. How strange they don't acknowledge each other by name at all anymore. Or maybe Missy told Kelsey that while they were still friends?
I know this is Steps to Wander's thread, but did anyone notice Jinger was at Cassie's bachelorette weekend in Vegas? That seems so weird! I would imagine Kelsey was closer to Cassie growing up than rando Jinger (who Cassie probably doesn't even really know). I guess Missy has totally replaced old BBF Kelsey with new BFF Jinger.

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I have to agree with him.. sorta. It is unusual to find someone wanting to rehome an entire (or partial) flock as it can be difficult to integrate the birds with older/younger ones. There are Chicken Swaps people do, but typically they are trading rare breeds or needing to rehome roosters. As for introducing new birds to a flock, it's a very tedious process as they establish a new pecking order. Some could die in the process if you're not careful. It's why it is easier in the long run to raise your flock from chicks. I think 5 or 6 is a great starter flock for most people who are just getting started.PirateWench8 wrote:Am I the only one who caught Corbin saying that Kelsey's friend told them that getting adult chickens is not a good idea because there is usually something wrong with them? Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I grew up in a farming family and I completely agree about the adult chickens. All of our chickens were raised by us from the time they were chicks for that exact reason. I was just mentioning about Corbin talking about "Kelsey's friend" and not mentioning Missy by name and how he seemed bothered by it. They did the right thing with getting only five chicks I just hope a few of them live, but I'm not holding my breath between their laziness, June not being disciplined and accidentally killing them and Paris possibly attacking them.spiralstatic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 7:37 pmI have to agree with him.. sorta. Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I'm not a chicken expert (LOL!), but could some of those chicks end up being roosters? The law in Boise says no roosters are allowed as "pet chickens," so what would they do if some are roosters?
I could be 100% wrong, but are chicks tested for gender? Just curious.

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
It's quite possible that some of them could grow up too be Roosters. There's no way of telling until they are older. I'm sure if one of them survives to be a Rooster Corbin and Kelsey will donate it too an actual farm.ewokfan11 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 7:53 pm I'm not a chicken expert (LOL!), but could some of those chicks end up being roosters? Yep, we had a sexed hen that ended up being a devil of a rooster. I'd pay good money to watch him.being chased around their ~*~Urban Farm~*~ by a moody roosterPirateWench8 wrote:It's quite possible that some of them could grow up too be Roosters. Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I wonder if they signed some sort of weird thing like a NDA that prohibits them from even mentioning them by name. Bryan is one hell of a diva at times with a heck of an ego. I wouldn't put it past him,.especially if this suspected falling out was more of a Corbin & Bryan thing.PirateWench8 wrote:I grew up in a farming family and I completely agree about the adult chickens. One of the chicks has “pastey butt” and can’t go to the bathroom. So they gave her a bath and put ointment on and now she can poop.JVK19 wrote:I refuse to watch. What’s wrong with the chicks already? Lol!

I can just imagining him running around the yard and whining "Stopppp" as the Rooster is chasing him. I would pay good money to watch that too!spiralstatic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 8:19 pmYep, we had a sexed hen that ended up being a devil of a rooster.
