And furthermore on the umbrella, she’s like most of the ones in Canada were in the $80-150 range so I feel like the price of this one is pretty reasonable. It was $149USD which makes it a $198 umbrella before taxes and duty.

I also love how all the screenshots of umbrellas she posted were of the giant cantilever ones on heavy bases. They’re all in the $300+ range. The one she got is a patio table umbrella. Like stop trying to make it seem like a bigger price steal than it is and own that you splurged on it because you loved it.

Exactly. She can clap for other women, which I respect. But then she turns around and acts like she’s too good for stretch marks or any imperfection. Which totally negates her “uplifting” women with flaws, because every other word out of her mouth is how SHE doesn’t have any and she’s so glad she doesn’t.

Also, terrible advice on rooting cuttings. Takes way longer than “a week or so” to grow adequate roots for potting in soil...like 4-8 weeks. After a week you’ll see root buds if you’re lucky. I’ve been rooting a philodendron in water for 10 days and I still have nothing.

So she's at The baby show checking out all things baby. I still can't wrap my head around why is she buying everything brand new for this baby. What happened to Forde and Cohen's old bassinet, high chair, bucket car seat(they expire around 5 years), pack and play etc...? And essential oils for teething just makes my blood boil. I hope she won't let the baby ingest undiluted oils like she does.

I think they lost a lot of stuff in THE GREAT LINDQUIST FLOOD but for some reason she is splurging on high end shit/doing high end brand deals. If it were me with no equipment and a third/final baby on the way, I’d be hitting the fb marketplace or the secondhand shops. To me that is much more useful content for viewers. We don’t get sent $1000 chair/bouncer/high chair things, or $1500 bassinets. Nobody gave me $300 worth of free swaddles and bedding. Most people cannot afford that shit.

If she was taking us on a journey to restock her baby equipment using buy and sells and thrifting, I’d be totally on board with that! That’s realistic for pretty much everyone. Show us that it’s totally doable to replace your things with basically brand new items at a much cheaper cost. And so many things hold their value, she could basically resell them for close to what she paid secondhand, making it all almost free. Amazing content! That would be empowering for the single mom watching her channel, wondering how she’s going to provide for a new baby. Or the mom starting over with older kids and a new baby and all the equipment was tossed out years ago, etc. Or any new mom who is overwhelmed with all the things she needs to buy, but sees that she can really just thrift the basics and doesn’t need to get every single item on the market for babies.

What an idiot. This was a HUGE miss for her.

Way to discuss the YT drama while keeping yourself so important. I wanted to throw up every time she casually mentioned how much it’s affecting her views and how much money “her business” can make. What business is that Elle? The business of scamming viewers out of donations to charity?

Also, her views are down because she depends on sensationalized words (“infertility” “iui” “pregnant after infertility”) to give her one time views. She has a large following, she SHOULD have a strong base of regulars who don’t care what the algorithm says, they watch her regardless. But she doesn’t. Why? Have you ever asked yourself why, Elle?

I love how she immediately threw another youtuber under the bus for posting a mom & daughter yoga video, “I’ve never done that” she says.... she implied she’s never posted anything “bad” but then admits later on to deleting older potty videos.

When she acknowledged removing some videos I was really hoping she would mention Forde’s dog biting video but she didn’t! Considering that video brought majority of her original subscribers she should have mentioned it.
