I agree somewhat. In that sense, we can't really rely on anything. YouTube channels that fail don't just happen from one day to the next. And I'm not talking about random channel shut downs. They have no control over that just as everyone has no control over being laid off. Social media isn't as unreliable as people tend to think. I don't think it's ridiculous to rely on an income that has been somewhat steady. That's like telling people who work on commission or tips that they HAVE to have a back up and plan and are not smart if they don't. Nothing in this world is guaranteed and unfortunately we cannot always have a backup plan or be prepared. A lot of people don't have that luxury. Otherwise, there would be no point in working any of those jobs.

I have family members that work on commissions. Their spouses have salary jobs and hold the health insurance since that’s more stable. Of course anything can happen.

Well that is great for them. My point was I think people are being way to harsh when they say they some work, don't have a job, should not be able to rely on social media, etc. Clearly, they're making good money to be able to do all that. If not, it will catch up to them eventually.

I’m only 26, but I guess it’s a personal preference..I personally wouldn’t wear i however I do agree keren looks good in it. It’s more the point of rachelle copying outfits that look good on keren but horrible on herself hahaha

Jamie Kay actually has some adorable stuff..I’d never waste my money on it simply because my toddler grows too fast and I can’t justify spending that much money on single pieces that fit few a few months at most..but why does rash seem to spend hundreds of dollars on all the granny stuff from there, there are so many nice colours besides poo green and brown that would look so cute on Emma

If you want to say that Rash works as an influencer/YouTuber, fine. I guess she technically does. But what hell excuse does Justin have to literally not work??? If they make money off of YouTube, good for them. But it would be nice of the father/husband of the house to bring in a stable income and insurance. Also to teach Emma some work ethic. My husband could NEVER quit his job. Even though it's a job he doesn't love, he still gets pride in providing for his daughter and me. Call me old fashioned, but I love him for that. And PLENTY of people take a few junior classes while working full time. He literally has no excuse. It's not like even takes care of the yard. I stand by my opinion: they are lazy and careless for trying on one weak and unstable income from social media. And I say that for ALL YouTube family vloggers.

I agree whole heartedly.

Do they not realise that with another steady income means quicker savings. Sure they can “get by” on what they earn on YouTube, but do they not want more? To give Emma and future kids a decent life. Be able to buy that house and have decent savings.

I know money isnt everything. But having pride in a job you love, getting up and out of the house every day, meeting new people - isnt something to shun. I work three days a week - the two week days i dont work I feel lost and meh cos I have no direction for that day. I work because I want to be a contributing member of our family. I work to “fund” our kids extra curricular activities, so that extra money my husband doesnt need to work to earn - if that makes sense? He finishes early on Friday’s to get more quality time with us as a family.

I take it you have never worked a commission job. You get the legal hourly wage and if you have a week you do not sell anything you get a draw. You get several draws before the company would fire you. YT is a video to video with no draw to fall back on if your video flops.

I have actually and I don’t get an hourly wage with my commission. I said it was comparable to it, not exactly like it.
