You know what’s funny, I follow another mommy instagrammed/YT who has 10x Elles following. I love her. Out of curiosity, I looked her up here. NOTHING. Not a single post, thread, or even mention of her.

I starting thinking, why? Oh, because she addressed criticism. She allows it, engages, and responds appropriately. She agrees to disagree, accepts responsibility for her actions, apologizes when necessary, and stands up for herself when she believes in things. Basically - she has integrity.

Elle thinks she has all us haters “because she’s made it big! Oh so famous!” No boo - you’re just that freaking annoying, slimy, and scandalous. You aren’t famous, just a scumbag.

Her name is Ruby Tuesday Matthews. Her YouTube isn’t up anymore, but I follow on IG and her stories. She’s a model so not super relatable but she is REAL about her life. She just had a boob lift and freely discussed why, great discussion of why she wanted it but doesn’t think it’s “needed” to bounce back or whatever. Open to whatever makes you happy. Loves her kids, is totally sponsored by dumb products with NO issue saying, “Yep I’m a model and a mom and this is how I make money, brands pay me to sell things so “ - no bullshit about how she only reps things that match her ethos and aesthetic. She will call out the modeling industry while also admitting its her livelihood and so she still participates and happily answers questions and admits to surgery/injections.

I don’t agree with her on everything, but I like her attitude of real body positivity, openness, and willingness to change her opinion when educated about topics. Also would elle EVER post this after baby?! Hell no.

Years ago I spent $300 on a mammaroo and my kid hated it. It doesn’t ACTUALLY swing, it just moves. But because it isn’t hanging it doesn’t give the swing sensation that my child wanted. I hope her kid hates it.

Also - she likes West coast Kids because of the store layout ok elle, shouldn’t thrifting/buying a used one be more important that how nicely the store is laid out?? I see gently used ones on FB market all the time (that’s where I sold mine once my kid decided he hated it!)

Warning for anyone who hasn’t watched today’s vlog yet, don’t watch it on your tv because Elle’s ASS takes up the entire screen.

I don’t know why she shot that video with that angle, her ass was in the way half the time.

Liking a store because of their lay out?? Come on, that’s a pathetic reason. She couldn’t come up with anything better like “the staff are knowledgeable” or “they always carry new products coming out” etc

She purposely mentioned that Dan wanted to spend the money on a brand new swing so that people wouldn’t judge her. Either Dan is confident they will plan for a fourth kid or Elle got that swing free or discounted and Elle justified that she could sell it afterwards and make her money back.

I can’t stand how she talks like this baby arriving is the most exciting news in everyone’s lives. Saying things like how her life will unfold on the channel for all to see and enjoy. You must subscribe so you don’t miss out on anything She acts like the baby is a gift to her viewers and they must enjoy and bathe in her glory. I’ve honestly never seen another YouTube boast about their unborn child like Elle has. There’s one thing to be excited and over the moon with joy but she’s making it seem like the second coming of Christ is happening.

Ugh today’s vlog was so braggy at the end. I felt uncomfortable watching it, knowing she has viewers like me, who are still struggling with real secondary infertility or infertility in general. Okay be excited but don’t spend two minutes talking to the camera about how you can’t believe you’re 8 weeks ago and you’re gearing up to give birth again and be a mom of three and a girl and blah blah blah. It actually hurt me watching her joy because I’m almost at the end of my rope with my own journey and seeing her so smug and buying everything new just really is rubbing me the wrong way.

For someone who wanted to reel in viewers with her infertility she sure is not being sensitive to them at all, it’s like taking advantage of other people’s situations and then rubbing it in their face. She’s way over doing it in her videos. She’s showing everyone how she has her “second wind” now that she’s in the home stretch of this pregnancy but it’s coming across wrong.... definitely rubbing me the wrong way.

I AM pregnant after secondary infertility and even I find her videos insensitive and hurtful. I’d NEVER be so smug! It’s one thing to feel blessed, its another to rub it in everyone’s face.

Ugh. I feel a long rant coming on...

I can understand why those experiencing/have experienced infertility find her annoying. I guess she has to drum up excitement and anticipation about pregnancy/birth because without it she basically has zero content...or totally snooze-worthy nonsense. I bet she is not done with childbearing... cause this new baby will only supply about another year or so of content.

Listening to her talk about the whole youtube/comments/kids situation was tedious. Who is she kidding? If she eliminated baby/child-related content she has NOTHING. She tries to make out as though she has been focusing her channel on herself; but unlike other youtubers/vloggers who can make the transition from 'mommy vlogger' to a more lifestyle/womanhood channel--I doubt Elle's can. I do not see what else she offers.
Example: her recent plant video-huh? Apparently viewers have been asking for this video for over a year but yet Elle did not bother to find out the proper names of the plants she owns prior to making it?! What an epic fail. She tells her viewers to find out on their own...wow really useful. How about she takes pics of her own damn plants and visits a nursery to find out what they are...and maybe asks a KNOWLEDGEABLE person about tips on how to best care for them...then share this INFORMATION with her audience in addition to her own thoughts/opinions/practices.
She frequently poses questions to her audience that could be answered with a google search; so she is either really thick or cannot come up with better ways to engage her viewers others than to give them a mundane chore.

In conclusion,

Baby=content=$$$
no baby=no content=no $$$

New here - long time viewer of Elle's videos and just recently found this forum... it's amazing.

Does it bother anyone else that she CONSTANTLY refers to the baby as "baby girl"??? Gah!!
And this was definitely not the first time she's been bent over with her ass taking up much of the frame for WAY too much of the video. Cleaning videos are full of that too. It's got to stop!! You'd think for someone with such body issues that she'd edit butt shots out.

I literally cannot fathom how much money she has spent unnecessarily on this baby. Sure buying new clothes and blankets because it’s a girl I understand. But she totally could’ve bought second hand and she certainly didn’t have to spend 1500 on a fucking bassinet (sorry I’m just so shook by this). Then trying to justify it saying the 3rd child gets so many hand me downs anyways, BITCH WHERE?! Everything for this child has been new. NONE of her stuff is hand me down.

She will have more kids - even if it takes IVF, so that she can keep making content. Actually, she’s probably prefer it takes infertility treatments again because then she can milk it. I know she said she’s against IVF, but when it comes to her brand her morals don’t matter.

Elle is obsessing with a natural supplement that supposedly eliminates swelling and varicose veins today. She's crowd sourcing in one IG story about that supplement because coz it's the first time she's heard of it. Then the next story, she's buying it and reminds everyone who is worried that it's totally safe you guys even though my gp and midwife don't know about it. I'm pretty sure majority of supplements will say in the bottle not to use if pregnant and breastfeeding.

I also feel like Elle is lying about how much Cohen LOVED the Mamaroo. I seem to remember a vlog where she mentioned borrowing it from a friend, but that Cohen didn’t love it too much. When he was a baby I think they moved their Rock and Play around the house.

Of course, now that West Coast Kids is sending her one, HE LOVED IT AND WCK IS THE MOST AMAZING STORE.
