8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
Poor Abby seems to suffer from gluten intolerance she has all the symptoms and Ruby is blind to it because then she would have to prepare special meals for her it is too much work for her! That is also an autoimmune disorder! She needs a gluten free diet that is why she is sick constantly! But they she check for other issues too. i am surprised she is just ignoring symptoms that are constant! Lazy woman!
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
Abby is lactose intolerant. In one of the early vlogs you can see everybody eating icecream except Abby. By the comments people were asking about it and Ruby answered something like that.
What I fully don't understand. You know it and see your child suffer but doesn't anything about it.

Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
the reason Abbeys face is like this, well 1. shes a teenager but mostly because her hormones are clearly really out of balance due to the crappy processed high carb and sugar diet she lives off. probably has leaky gut, a really poor digestion due to so much junk food their mom feeds them. she needs to get on a high fiber diet with plenty of veg, oats and beans, rather than brownies, noodles and bread. the gluten probably doesnt agree with her. i had really bad acne and though "oh its just unlucky, i've tried everything" then i cut out processed carbs, pasta, bread and limited my treats to dark 80% few times a week, and my skin cleared out! its 80% diet, 20% hygiene. these facials are a waste of money, they dont fix anything, its just something you do to get a deeper clean and feel good about yourself. but Abbey is always sick so seems like a diety issue. but of course ruby just thinks they need a $200 facial and all their problems will go away. and i love how they were promoting the products they use " yeah because there clearly working for you guys" LOL well now i know what not to buy if i want good skin.

I agree that they really need to look into her diet for her skin and gut issues. It is very clear that this family has weird eating habits in general, but also eats CRAP food. All over processed junk, so much starch and carbs. I am not one to claim to be an expert on eating healthy- but it really is simple to do a little bit of research and learn how to make a balanced meal. Sure, sometimes we will have quick/easy meals in a pinch but it is not the norm and shouldn’t be. Food is fuel for your brain and whole body. I notice a total difference in energy and how I feel based on if I’ve been eating poorly.
I’m sure some of the acne issues also are genetic since Ruby had acne as well, but she also probably ate the same crap food growing up so it’s hard to say. It seems like puberty really did just hit Abby like a train. Some kids have it tougher than others, but it won’t last forever at least. My Mom had a rough time with acne as a teen and so did my brother, but I have always had clear skin. It’s definitely not fair and they have the means to do more than pointless facials so I really hope they help her out!

Is Shari would be my kid that "I know what carbon monoxide is" high-horse sass after forgetting something as basic and dangerous as turning of the car in the garage would mean a driving ban for a week, the end.

Shari's closet video is making me irrationally angry....
* "Me and mom are the only ones in the house that have like walk-in closets" - so kind of her to allow Abby to store a few things in there! (and she literally only lets her store a few things)
* "It's got a mirror that needs cleaned." - Shari is really going to have to work on her grammar if she plans on going to a decent college outside of Utah.
* Shari drags Ruby for her trendy but ineffective organization methods. Maybe the only thing we agree on Shari! Ruby is making her store a broken toaster for 3 years for college. However, Shari should be smart enough to store the toaster the empty storage boxes she hates, or just tell Ruby it doesn't bring her joy
* Shari says she has 16 pairs of shoes because she hasn't grown at all over the years, collecting them, yet "she has no clothes". We just saw her pants (wrong color) cast off to Abby and ill fitting shoes cast off to Julie. She is so spoiled in comparison to her sisters, even getting two prom dresses as a Sophomore. They walked around all winter without fitting shoes and Shari was there sitting on 16 pairs.

Agree with all of this! Did you also see her precious prom shoes in her closet looking like they’d just been thrown in there? I thought she had them in a box?Kattiness Everdeen wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 8:51 am Shari's closet video is making me irrationally angry....

If I had said that growing up, I'd get smacked across my face. She needs to know her place.lip wrote:Is Shari would be my kid that "I know what carbon monoxide is" high-horse sass after forgetting something as basic and dangerous as turning of the car in the garage would mean a driving ban for a week, the end.

Delayed vlogs wouldn’t be so bad if they were actually in order. Today’s vlog Ruby says tomorrow we are going over to Ellie’s for an Easter Egg hunt. We already saw this.

Even if you don't edit it, why not download it to your computer so it would be in two places. The out of order vlogs with the egg hunt-think it confirms that Ruby wanted to get hers out first!

I thought their dog died or something...
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
This b is crazy. The amount of time she spends dwelling on stuff while simultaneously saying she’s not going to dwell on it is hilarious. An entire vlog literally bawling over lost footage saying nothing could be worse... reallly? Lol okay sure. All while she’s saying she’s not going to let it ruin her day. Yet she spent all day crying.
These vloggers need to get a grip on reality. When you honestly think life can’t get worse than some footage being corrupt, you’re dilutional in my mind. But I guess pain is relative and that’s great for her if that’s the worst her life gets.

I’m appalled at her vlog today...carrying on like that over such trivial shit. I had to have emergency oral surgery on Sunday and have been sick as shit from it since then. I’m crying cause I’m in bed and worthless to my family while I recover...not doing the boo hoo over camera footage. Get real! Another thought...why does she have to ‘try” to be truthful...that’s very telling.

Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
I'm sure many people will think that as well. I'll bet their view count will be quite high today.
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
I thought she lost all her files for her "book". She's seriously too sad to cook only eggs. Are you f*ing for real? I'm also low-key happy she didn't get her brand deal and owes taxes. Welcome to the real world! I don't even think Ruby has had a job ever.
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
Chad didn't seem too phased by Ruby's meltdown. If my mother had been bawling uncontrollably when I was Chad's age, I would have been so freaked out because it would have been incredibly out of the ordinary. What does that say about how Ruby normally behaves?
I'm pretty sure the only reason Ruby cared so much was because of the branded video.
It's kind of hilarious that the camera store gave her the footage she already had. They probably just wanted to give her SOMETHING to get her to leave. If her behavior in the store was at all similar to her behavior at home in front of her kids, I don't blame them.

Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
Its so obvious why shes upset. She even said it herself. Because SHE wanted a break and because of the brand deal. Not because of the lost memories. She cant exploit Chad getting his hair bleached or Abby getting a Haircut now. How sad.
Re: 8 Passengers: Controlling Mothers aren’t powerful. Part #10
I know this isn't exactly on topic with today's video. Why doesn't she let her kids use Google (aka the company in charge of her job)? How do they write projects at home? Do they just use Google at school? I don't get it and I straight up don't agree with it. Unless they secretly somehow use Google when Ruby isn't around lol.
Also, editing my post again to add.
I hope both Shari and Chad low-key have secret texting apps. Mainly Chad because I doubt Shari has as many restrictions. That's what I did growing up lol.

Most likely the reason her kids can't use google is for several reasons.... #1... access to porn, starting at age 8 they start getting interviewed for worthiness. they are asked of they keep the laws of chastity. or something boys his age are asked specific sexual questions, if they mess up, they can lose their worthiness for temple recommends, #2 Access to anything anti-mormon. or even just church history, "heaven forbid" they read the CES letter or find the exmormon reddit etc.

They have the money to buy a blocking system. It just doesn't make sense to me. According to her it's not because of porn lol.
