I was one of their Christmas card recipients; I think they sent out something like 1000 of them! I am a dork, but keep it on my desk. The happy smiling babies always make ME smile. I *loved* when Solo's mother was staying with them. She seems so nice. And Sarah's dad is hilarious!

They are people that I would love to spend time with, "in real life". The kids are so talented musically! It's refreshing to see how they all interact together and work together to get things done.

Have you seen the video where they surprise the kids with a visit from Solo's mom? It was so touching. Those kids clearly love her and were beyond excited to see her.

I can’t even put my finger on why her grocery haul videos are so fascinating to me. Maybe it’s her ability to do healthy meals for such a large family? Maybe it’s just that spending $1300 a moth on food is kind of mind blowing compared to my meager budget? I’m not sure. But I really enjoy her. Very natural, not forced, not acted. The kids can be in or out and It works either way which I think is a healthier situation for the kids and I think she’s pretty good about keeping private things private. For example with her house tour she was careful not to show the layout of the house. I really find her channel likable.

I watched their new video this morning and have to say that they are pretty awesome. I can't imagine taking 8 kids to the dentist, let alone taking them all in one day. I love how they thanked the person who sent them the box that had the chai in it. They really do appreciate even a simple thing like that.

I just cannot say enough great things about OTOM! I experience "cuteness aggression" at times watching.
I worry about them in this cruel world.

I really do wonder if their kids want to go to college, or if they’ll go down the pastor/church road like their parents. Either way works, I can see Judah falling in his fathers foot steps for sure! I do also wonder how much social interactions those kids get from people outside of the church community.

Judah wants to be a medical doctor. He has a lot of support and encouragement from parents and grandparents on both sides...and he's book smart.

The kids play with neighbor kids...I guess they could also be church members. I don't think they are isolated.

In the past few months her dish washer and dryer broke and she's been so gracious about it. I don't know if I'd be as patient as she is and we only have one kid living with us for a total of 3 people.

I know we've talked about how they aren't very in your face about religion, but I also love how much of a team player they both are and how often they switch gears. Like Solo cooking dinner or doing laundry runs.

Just wanted to say I looked a while back to see if anyone was saying anything (good or bad) anywhere. Yikes, that other site is completely insane. I have a few questions and small annoyances but I mostly like them too so I’ll keep it to myself!

Counting is hard.

I do respect her for taking a break, I love how self aware she is. Even when the younger child was babbling and she was like "She's a chatter box today, she's competing against me" or something along those lines.

Obviously, First thought is that she's pregnant again. She sounded pretty tired and a little out of breath in the vlog. They also have talking alot about visiting Kenya so maybe the announcement is a trip! Those would be really neat vlogs to see.

I wonder too. I’ve actually thought she was pregnant for a little bit now. She normally has a ton of energy for her family size and she’s seemed way dragged down lately. That would probably be my norm with that many but it doesn’t seem so for her. I wonder what she’ll do differently. The YT comments thing and their whole algorithm junk can’t be easy to live with. I personally am not a family vlog watcher. Not my thing at all. I skip over kids and watch the parents talk. (I have enough of my own kids to watch and interact with!). So anything that would be more focused on her, would be welcomed by me. But I’m probably in the minority and they’ve built their channel on showcasing their children...so we’ll see!

I'm sure that was designed to make us wonder if she's pregnant, but I can't decide if she is. If you look at the ages of their other kids, they tend to have a couple close together and then a longer spacing. Her youngest two are VERY close in age so I kind of thought they would wait longer. She has cut back from 4 to 3 videos a week lately. Perhaps that is why? I DON'T KNOW!!! lol (I'm usually decent at calling these things so it's bugging me that I can't figure it out)

As a fellow homeschooling mom I am super impressed with her schooling methods and time management. My family is not as large as hers and it is very challenging to get it all done.
