My daughter had hers too long. We took them to the store one day and she picked out a toy to trade them for, and we threw them away outside the store. But I learned my lesson. Didn't do that with my son. And my daughter was speeding delayed for reasons that had nothing to do with the binky.
I have said it before, and I will say it again-- I would take NO parenting advice from "Dr. Katie". She may have a PhD, but if she truly believes _everyone_ offering advice is a "hater", she's clueless.
