The Lindquists
Re: The Lindquists
Elle is the shamiest Christian around! I don’t think she legitimately has a strong faith, she just likes to appear that way
Re: The Lindquists
Her lips have 100% been touched up during pregnancy. I think during her “whoops today’s video will be late!” periods and she was mostly off IG, because she knows people will give her shit. But she came back after a brief absence with them looking full again.Margie wrote:Right?! And is she getting botox and lip injections while she’s pregnant? Because it kind of looks like it, but I though that wasn’t safe during pregnancy or breast feeding

Why was this the look on her face during Veronica’s pep talk and her talk with Dan? It’s like she was deciding to be negative and pissy.

Re: The Lindquists
THIS literally this!!! This is exactly why she is devastated because the viral birth video with Cohen made her feel so righteous and she wanted to do it again to get millions of views just like last time. Focus on the health of yourself and baby Elle. Millions of women have c sections it's really not a big deal!!Peach-o wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 7:19 am She's devastated because her natural birth with Cohen went viral and people were curious about it. It became a huge part of her brand and now she's counting on another viral video with #babygirl. Not as many people will care that much about a regular C-section and her channel won't get the boost she was counting on. She's built up this incredible natural, DRUG FREE birth experience so much and now she's melting down like the control freak she is because she can't follow her birth plan. Wonder if she'll ask the surgeon to anoint baby girl with the special undiluted Doterra baby blend as it exits her womb? I'm still a little confused why Botox, lip fillers, and hair bleach are ok with her but epidurals are the devil.

I have so much to say but you are all hitting the nail on the head. Essentially this is a giant fuck you to all her viewers struggling with infertility.
“I don’t care that you can’t get pregnant. I might have to deliver this healthy THIRD baby via c-section and I won’t get the fame and views I got last time.”
I’ll be back. I have to go out but needed to get that out. Ugh

Re: The Lindquists
If she has to have a C-section, IMO, this is the best possible scenario, much better than having an emergency or unplanned C-section. Healing will be easier for her if she doesn't labor naturally before the C-section, and she'll get to know the OB for a few weeks beforehand as well. Obviously C-sections aren't ideal for many women, but having a C-section and being mentally prepared for it beforehand seems to me much better than being prepared for an unmedicated birth and then suddenly needing major surgery.
Re: The Lindquists
I can’t wait for her to label BABY GIRL as the “a c-section baby” on every Instagram post.

Re: The Lindquists
I love how in addition to not saying hello, she didn’t even thank Veronica for her kind words. I thought Veronica did a really good job of being a supportive and positive friend and Elle was like okay bye. I think Elle is beyond the point of disappointment with this possible c-section, she’s just downright pissed off because she can’t control what’s happening.
I don’t understand her when she says her whole point of doing unmedicated births is to not have the drugs and so doing a c-section basically goes against everything. Why are the drugs such a huge issue for her? It’s not like they’re illegal narcotics. If it were me, I would be more nervous about having major surgery and figuring out how to care for a newborn and two kids while recovering. I would be upset at the prospect of a c-section too but not for egotistical reasons like she is.
Also hated how she said her care was being transferred to a “random” OB. OBVIOUSLY if she trusts her midwives as much as she says, they’re not going to transfer her to some backroom shady doctor. As someone who has chosen an OB for my births, I’m a little bit offended because her words seem to indicate that I (and anyone else who uses an OB) don’t really care about my own medical care.
All I can picture when I think of Elle obsessing over her possible c-section is an angry rhino stomping around. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in that house right now haha.
What Elle needs to realize is that the hard part is already over. She got pregnant. She had a healthy pregnancy. C-sections are safe procedures. It is all going to be FINE. This is a tiny blip in the course of her life. She just can’t see the forest for the trees because this is such a blow to her ego.
Maybe if her marriage was in a better state, God would bless her with a vaginal birth.

I’m sure the baby will flip, birth will be “NORMAL” and we’ll hear all about the miracle and how she WAS blessed because of her marriage

Speaking of the oils, I’m surprised she mentioned rubbing peppermint oil on her belly as anything peppermint (tea, oils, etc) isn’t recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.TeachIT wrote:I’m sure the baby will flip, birth will be “NORMAL” and we’ll hear all about the miracle and how she WAS blessed because of her marriage

Re: The Lindquists
You can thank her DoTerra training for that. It's the purest of oils and the only brand that Elle trusts! It cannot harm you if it's pure and from natureokaythatlldo wrote:Speaking of the oils, I’m surprised she mentioned rubbing peppermint oil on her belly as anything peppermint (tea, oils, etc) isn’t recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.TeachIT wrote:I’m sure the baby will flip, birth will be “NORMAL” and we’ll hear all about the miracle and how she WAS blessed because of her marriage

Re: The Lindquists
Btw I didn’t know about this thread at the time, but why did she change the channel name from The Lindquists to Elle Lidnquist?

She says because she wanted the focus off the kids and onto her, as they are getting older and may not want to be as big of a part of the channel.
Seeing as how she sensationalizes everything about **bAbY giRl** and posts Forde & Cohen’s most private moments online ... clearly she did not go that direction.

Re: The Lindquists
I think it had more to do with her marriage falling apart and the channel being additionally toxic to their fragile relationship because she was forcing the entire family to be ON for her all the time.TeachIT wrote:zelda2011 wrote:Btw I didn’t know about this thread at the time, but why did she change the channel name from The Lindquists to Elle Lidnquist?

A few months after they rebranded to Elle Lindquist, she posted a vlog with her new year’s resolutions for 2018 and there were some serious impending divorce vibes coming through.

Hahaha so accurate!! I do really really really hope that she ends up with a c-section though!!!TeachIT wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 10:08 am I’m sure the baby will flip, birth will be “NORMAL” and we’ll hear all about the miracle and how she WAS blessed because of her marriage

I had a friend who had a breech baby that flipped and the day she went into labour, the stress of labour caused the baby to flip BACK to breech so she ended up needing a section anyways...
Do I wish this for Elle?
Yes!

Re: The Lindquists
It's strange that they jumped to an ultrasound at 34 weeks for positioning. At 35-36 weeks my baby was completely transverse (I know, def not the same as her)... but my doctor said there is PLENTY of time for him to move around and he may move several times up until he's born.
Anyway... I had 2 c-sections, the first was not planned, the second was. My babies weren't drugged up when they were born, it wasn't a big deal at all. I truly don't understand why she's so against it. But... I'm sure since she can't have her viral unmedicated natural DITL momma of 3 WATER birth vlog, she will have a "SO SCARY EMERGENCY BABY BREECH I ALMOST DIED WTF BBQ" vlog for us instead!! Where we will find out that the c-section was totally normal and no one almost died!

Re: The Lindquists
My midwife doesn't suggest any ultrasounds past the anatomy scan unless there is cause for one. It might be different for Elle because she is advanced maternal age. I'm not sure why she was so eager to see her midwife right away, either...like, what are they going to do?toothfairy75 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 12:16 pm It's strange that they jumped to an ultrasound at 34 weeks for positioning. Re: The Lindquists
I’m just seeing a bunch of comments on Elle’s fb about the possible c-section and so many women are like PRAYERS BABY GIRL FLIPS and I’m here thinking maybe just send prayers for a healthy birth. All of the THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, to me, confirm to Elle that this is a bad outcome and it needs to change. I feel like for someone who struggles with so many mental health issues and who is also endlessly controlling and aiming for perfection etc, the pressure is being laid on thick to deliver her baby vaginally. This will make it all the more disappointing/devastating/traumatic for her if she does indeed need a c-section.

Re: the rebranding of Elle’s YouTube channel name
I know someone who ran a profitable family blog and when they got divorced the husband was able to still collect the income. Could be one of the reasons why she needed to distant Dan from the channel going forward. I’m sure she’s thinking “when these kids are older .. I’m outta heeeeeeere”.
I’m betting she took the “giving back fund” money and hid it away, she’s saving it as an emergency fund for when she leaves Dan. He probably has no clue because he doesn’t even watch the channel anymore I’m sure. She probably still tells him that they need to put away 10 percent from every YouTube cheque.
I get the feeling that before Dan came around, Elle never had a steady home. I feel like she was one of those girls who leached off of friends a lot. Ate dinner at their house all the time. Slept on their couch. That sort of thing. That’s why when Dan came around she dug her talons into him.
