I'm no nurse either but when it happened there was a huge bruise around it. Also a smaller bruise on the other side. I still think she fell off the stupid golf cart and bounced on the road rather than slid on it. Asswitt said she tripped over. Yeah right.

Yes I suppose she would - it’s just the depth and the uneven edges of the wound. It doesn’t look like a normal cut.
There are some wounds that you deliberately keep moist while healing. It looks like this may be what’s happening. For example, with a burn, you keep it moist to prevent scabbing. It actually reduces scarring because a scab doesn’t form.
If it hadn’t been so bruised, I would say that it looked like a curling wand burn or someyhingImage
Also, apologies if you are a nurse. You won’t need me telling you how wounds heal, lol.

I’m not a nurse, but I was speaking from when my kids have come off bikes and responding to the falling off the golf cart. My kids always had skinned legs or arms as well when they came a cropper from moving bikes etc

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes, you’re absolutely right about that. I didn’t really think that there would have been other grazes.
Whatever caused it, it was a hard knock because it was really bruised and it is still far from healed.
I simply just don’t understand their lack of attention to things like this.

Hope it's okay to share this article about kids angry that their parents overshare about them on social media. I thought of the Gardners immediately.

It looks almost like a burn to me on Indie’s head, which of course could be caused by bouncing along the road on your head if you were to say, fall off a golf cart Image

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes & kind of looks indented a bit too. Makes me think of road rash. Like layers of skin skidded off due to a fall from a moving vehicle.
Would she not have had more grazes over that side of her face though? Image

Omg. Your avatar pic! 😂😂

You’re likely right ... she might have more marks or scratches

I have a child close in age to the DUHrls and they have never had a bruise on their face. Not after taking some really hard falls (in tumbling!) or playing rough with siblings or other kids. I’m beginning to wonder if Cashley or Bison are rough with them? I am so tolerant of kids getting hurt and mistakes - I know it happens. And I do not quickly jump to extreme possibilities...But it seems just about every video or picture there’s a new injury or issue. Negligence is just as bad but I hope someone isn’t getting impatient with them and then telling the other adults oh they tripped, they fell or “she has sisters!” ....

I hate how Two Ton just has to comment on Five Two Love’s IG posts. But I love how they never seem to reply back to him. Maybe it’s just a coincidence or maybe they are trying to not feed the bear so to speak. They do seem to respond to lots of their commenters so I’m hoping they are ignoring butt back on purpose.

I only remember my children having bruises once or twice.
When my eldest was little, she was running and ran into the edge of a door. It was right down the middle of her forehead. I had been out and when I came home my husband was distraught that it had happened while he was looking after her.
My other daughter fell out of bed one night. She had left a doll by the side of her bed and it was holding something pointed in its hand - it was like some special edition Barbie or something. It was just a completely freak thing that she it when she fell. It marked her wee face really badly and I was horrified. When I took her to school, I went in and explained to the teacher what had happened.
The face is actually quite difficult to bruise on the whole, though

Sorry about all the posts, but looking closely at that picture again, it does look like there might still be a thin dressing over that wound. It’s bizarre looking and most unusual that they haven’t mentioned it.
They make such a fuss about much less.

I think indie and esme get bruises and wounds more prominent because they’re likely low on iron and other vitamins. There’s no reason a 4 1/2 year old should be bruising that easily.

2 with shoes on the wrong feet. Again. Good grief Ashley teach your kids! That’s quite literally your job as their mother. It’s not like this is an isolated incident which we would brush off as a “toddler” thing. It’s clearly an every day occurrence. They are worthy of your time to teach them to do it correctly. And while we are on the subject, these outfits are terrible. There were some near wardrobe malfunction moments. Either put a shirt under it or buy clothing that fits properly.

Wouldn’t you think Nanny would put there shoes Imageon the right feet also. The girls most likely don’t know what it feels like to have a good comfy shoe on or even the right feet

Poor Mrs Frost. She'll probably have to retire after a year with the cats. One or two were pinching the other cheeks, none of them paid attention to the teacher. Another little girl in the class sitting next to one of the tinies was holding her hand up as if to shield her face. How utterly embarrassing. Assley is so stupid and I am sure every other adult in that classroom knows it. Even the preschoolers besides the ferals have to know. Oh and the Mother's Day program, from the way Trashy described it, was going to be a private concert event just for her.

Haha true. And since when is singing a song in a private preschool program singing in public?

I'm older than most of you young whipper snappers, but I was appalled at her 'never say can't' bullsit. I'm all for talking positive to kids but Ijust think they are too young for this and it came across, to me at least, as bullying.

Poor Esme didn't sing a word of the song, I feel for her so much. She really does need some sort of intervention.

Who gives their kids a cup of pure sugar just as they are sitting down to eat. SMH. Also noticed when she mentioned they were going away that they always have takeaway to reduce the dishes. They only ever use paper plates anyway.

I just realised, weren't they supposed to be going to Las Vegas in yesterday's vlog? So confused.

My son tripped and fell when he was 3 or 4 and hit his head on the driveway at my parents house. He got a rock embedded in his head and I had to take him to the ER where they had to make the opening bigger with a scalpel to get the rock out. After all the trauma of hitting his head and them having to cut it open to remove it he STILL looked 1,000,000 times better than Indie and didn’t even have a bruise. Something truly horrific happened to that child.
