I watched the B$B video. No climaxing voices. The boys seem like nice boys.
They were watching too many children though. They had the 4x4.5 plus two other 4 year olds ontop of it. I was a little concerned when they told them to run down the stairs in their shitty shoes and allowed them to look out over the exposed porches.

I also hope you know how fortunate you were that all 4 girls were born without any disabilities or major health issues. When you live and work out in the real world and mix with people from all walks of life you get to learn what is acceptable speech and what is not. For instance, I would never call someone the N word, nor would I call someone in a wheelchair a cripple. You learn these things when you become a parent so that you can teach your child to be accepting and kind to all people regardless of race or physical or mental abilities.

To hear you humiliate your child is one thing, but to hear you nonchalantly use the word 'spaz' was unforgiveable. I don't know what goes on in your town but in the rest of the world that is totally unacceptable. If you don't know what it means let me educate you. 'Spaz' is short for spastic which means someone who is disabled. And like the N word, is no longer acceptable in society.

You may think I'm overreacting. But I've been with disabled people when they've been bullied and called names and it is heartbreaking.

I suggest before your children go to a real school that you read up on the sorts of things that are acceptable and those that are not. If the girls use that sort of language in a classroom I can assure you that letters would be sent home. I simply cannot believe you are so ignorant. And please do not laugh at your child when they do something accidently. Anyone watching that could see how much you hurt her feelings.

Where I live (USA), the word spaz means clumsy. I just looked it up in 2 major dictionaries to verify. The word spastic means muscle spasm. I get eyelid spasms when I'm tired and under stress. I know runners that get leg spasms. At no point does this indicate a disability. Use of the slang word spaz would not result in a letter being sent home from school.

I’m also from the USA. A friend of mine has a son who is disabled. He was called spaz in school by a classmate and the child that called him that not only received a call home but was suspended for 3 days.

I watched it and you are right, the child is embarrassed. Not only that, amid her loud laughing Ashley says, "Oh now she's embarrassed" as her daughter goes to lean against her and hide her face, and laughs even louder.

Not long before that, Ashley goes to talk to one of the heavies, who has her back to her. "Evie," begins Ashley, when the child turns to her. "Oh, you're Scarlett". The child says, "I'm Evie". Ashley laughs and carries on with what she was saying. No apology.

Have we ever seen her show empathy? I don't think I have, certainly not to her children.

its sad that Ashley n Ty laughs at them....I get that from bullies when I was young. I wished these jackasses parents stop doing this...it gonna scar them for life...trust me, I know..been there... God help these girls

Many people in the US also find that word offensive. Especially those who work with the disabled. The Greedners have followers in many countries, including those who find this word offensive. It's not very sensitive or kind to teach a word like that to your children. More proof they are not the "wonderful parents" they are constantly labeled by kads.

T$A send the girls off to play and have dinner with some older boy twins named Brock and Boston. TyPerv tells the boys not to give the girls “too much sugar”.

Please, oh large one, what is the definition of “too much sugar”?

And the screaming and hollering in their hotel room? Ordering the girls to jump on the bed?
These people are worse than the Beverly Hillbillies. The BH didn’t know any better. That’s what made them amusing to watch.

The GreedyGrubs? Even if they didn’t know better in the past, they should have learned by now. Enough people have pointed out their rude behavior. They deliberately choose to behave the way they do because of their self centered mentality. Their “we don’t give a damn about anybody but ourselves” is getting old.

Karma is a bitch. Their time is coming. I can’t wait. That’ll be worth watching.

Cerebral palsy used to be referred to as spastic. In the UK and Australia spaz is definitely a pejorative term. In the US it has the same origin but from what I read the usage has changed somewhat. Personally I think it is awful.

We have had similar discussions here about the Binghams using the term stud. Some find it awful (I am in that group) but others seem to not find it a big deal.

Yes, I think the word can have different connotations depending on your age. Back in the (my) day, I heard spaz used as a crude label for a disability and also used when wanting to insult someone. Gashley would probably plead ignorance about this, because, what isn't she ignorant about?

That’s definitely an offensive word here in UK and my daughters know that as well as I do.
Even if she said it meaning her to be clumsy, it’s still pretty mean to say it and laugh at her loudly in public.
How about instead comforting her and playing her clumsiness down?
Even more, take them all to see someone about their age inappropriate clumsiness

I’m confused. On an IG story Ash is driving the cart where the girls and the dog are with. They stop to pick dandelions, but then you see Pervy Steve in the shot handing the girls dandelions. Where did he come from? Was he following in his own cart?

Exactly. Even if no one else finds it offensive-- if she had just laughed and said she was clumsy, it was cruel. I never would have thought to say that to any child I have been involved with. Mine or anyone else's.

Yes, it doesn’t matter what word she used, it’s how she laughed at her obviously humiliated child.

I will admit, I never know “spaz” had such a bad connotation. Thank you all for enlightening me, know better do better (not that I used that word but now I can be aware). I’m also a school teacher and I would not contact a parent if a child used that word. I would however contact a parent and even admin if a child was bullying another child the way Ashley bullies Esme (repeated humiliation, imbalance of power, it’s definitely bullying).

I think it’s a stretch to say that’s why a reason we also have to worry about guns. I put up with a lot of crap everyday and saying that allowing certain words is a reason we worry about guns feels like it’s somehow putting the blame back on teachers, which I am not okay with.

Thank you for clarifying in your last post. I think we are in agreement that the adults in charge are bullies which may or may not lead to a mental health crisis in the future. It’s not allowing/disallowing certain words that lead to a gun problem.
