I'd like to know what happened to a very young Maddie to cause the amount of trauma that she describes throughout her life from the age of 4 or 5. Kids don't have that level of anxiety to where they are put on Prozac at the age of 8 without something being terribly wrong.

Speech delays, ADHD, and autism are all very common diagnoses. You cannot prove that there is a causation between the mother's medication and these conditions with just two examples. Anecdotes are not evidence.
Also to lose custody of your first born at 3 weeks old tells me something else was going on.

Agreed. Maybe some type of sexual abuse happened to her by a family member because that’s pretty much what it would take to put an 8 year old on antidepressants like that....

Yeah, damn doctors. Don’t vaccinate your kids either, amiright? People need to be mentally stable to raise their children and if a Licensed professional tells them its safe to take medications that allow this then it’s probably safe

my friend just had her fourth baby, she’s bipolar and has anxiety. with her first 2 pregnancies she came off of her meds. her 3rd, she stayed on them per her OB and her son was born shaking from withdrawal. he shook for 4 days. her 4th she came off the meds, no withdrawal. her 2nd and 3rd she went right back to her meds once they were born and breastfed, one is ADHD with a speech delay. shes 3.5 and has like 50 words and her 2.5 year old son has autism. before you at me, her first she lost custody of at 3 weeks. no developmental delays. i know “breast is best” but formula sometimes is the better option.

When I got pregnant I asked my doctor if we needed to lower, or stop my antidepressant (escitalopram) she was very adamant that she didn’t think we should lower it at all. That the effects of my anxiety and depression without the medication would be more detrimental than any possible effects of the anti depressant.
Omg why does everyone on this thread feel the need to defend themselves taking medication and being pregnant? Obviously it’s not great and it’s definitely controversial but it’s your child and ultimately whatever effects they are the mom and Maddie will have to deal with them
i really don't think maddie is a bad mom she basically said in her new video she doesnt want her daughter to be taken away from she doesnt understand why the attorney ( i'm all free breastfeeding in public) said she shouldnt show her breastbreasting not bc its disgusting bc shes still young & old perv would look at her and her daughter. I just think everything back fired on her & s e sound really stupid saying how its her freedom of speech when you going to court you need to shut your mouth it would backfired on her which it probably did that why she deleted it. she keeps saying our criminal justice is corrupt when she cant even follow her attorney order it could backfire on you in court. she still young & stupid i'm alot older than her I would keep my mouth shut & she needs to think before she does stuff when she has good intentions I do think its coming from a good place but i'm not really sure if Maddie is using the whole breastfeeding away from her daughter not seeing her dad cause something doesnt seem right I feel like when this all said & done she would do another video saying how everything backfire on her.

Exactly!! I really wonder what her obsession with tits and milk are. Her being 16 and whipping out her tits on camera is problematic, not because of the nursing but because she’s a MINOR! The thing that also bugs me (I only made it a few seconds in lol) is she said she had been wanting to do a video like the protest one for awhile! So was it for attention? Was it the court order?
