I was thinking the same thing—use a picture for the items that didn’t ship. It just goes to prove that she was not trying to be helpful offering gift ideas, she only wanted to have her subscribers use her store link so she’s making money. And now that her store link is down, she’s not going to bother with doing a video.

I really, really hate the way she rearranged the office.... I mean beauty room. The vanity mirror on top of the clear desk is ugly AF. And is it supposed to impress me that all her makeup can fit in one organizer? No. That just shows me how unwilling she is to branch out from her plain, boring bubble. Ugh. This video really got under my skin. DO SOMETHING besides rearrange!

It looks terrible now!!! I can’t wait for her to switch it back lol. And somehow I doubt her neck hurts from editing. Doesn’t Chase do that for her? Maybe it’s from moving her furniture around every damn day. Soon enough she’ll be getting weekly massages. Just like her nail appointments and lash extensions.

Why is she editing when we were told Chase does it all? She stated in one of her videos quite a while back that she doesn't pay to get her hair done, she does it at home. ONCE she said she got some discount coloring from a friend but otherwise she doesn't pay since it's too expensive and I' more surprised she pays to her her nails done. Most financial gurus would find that frivolous! She's having a difficult time keeping her lies straight, apparently.

She gets her hair done professionally now. And her nails. And her lashes.

I remember that being one of the things I liked about her when I first started watching, was that she did those things herself. It made her more relatable to me because I’m on a budget currently. But it didn’t take long for her to change lol.

And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with having those things done. If I had the extra money I totally would too. So I don’t fault her. (Well maybe for the lash extensions, but that’s just because most times they look terrible on her! She looks like lamb chop with those things.)

Definitely nothing wrong with it. My issue is that she isn't consistent with her tales.
I think a lot of women found her relatable at the beginning because she did her own hair, has a smaller home unlike other you tubers, is a stay at home mom before the YT money rolled in, isn't extravagant, isn't the best cook and doesn't claim to be, made her own cleaning products, saved money, etc. Then she started to constantly contradict herself and did the same thing in every boring video, so I stopped watching.

I think the layout of the office looks better because I hate large pieces of furniture in front of windows. To me the L-shaped desk looks better in the corner. She's probably going to change it again though.

It's apparent that she's trying to change, but won't make the leap. She doesn't have to, but doing it might help her channel. I don't know about some of y'all, but I'm simple about what cleaning & decor video thumbnails attract my attention. Brianna K's recent summer decor clean & decorate with me video caught my attention because of all the bright yellow. That's it haha. I didn't even watch the video. Just scrolled through to see the final clips and it was lackluster/not my decor style, but she got my view. I like color so I clicked.

If Ashley talks about her faith it doesn't bother me. She's shown her church in vlogs. It seems like a very "feel good" and "happy" church, but not very religious. As long as she doesn't proselytize I see no issue with it. She needs to attract more subscribers and the Christian stay at home mom/ homeschool moms are a unique niche to attract.

But speaking personally, there's very little about her life I can relate to. I started watching for the cleaning videos, but stayed after I watched a few DITL videos. She doesn't have to be relatable to me for me to watch, but she needs to be innovative and hustle for me to stay.

It's ironic I know because I'm talking about her on here, but she has to do what is best for her. She cares what people think and does what they want. Maybe that's why she's sticking to what she knows to avoid people pleasing. Unpopular opinion here, but I like her. Her videos are not entertaining me anymore, but other than that I like her. From a purely business perspective, I think she should listen to some suggestions about her channel. She can still be herself. Her videos just need some rebranding and brainstorming.

I actually like when youtubers take feedback from the “haters” and adjust accordingly so kudos to her for seeing some valid and constructive criticism and trying to better her content.

It has to be popular products like a 3 wick candle from Bath and Body Works, Grove Collaborative kits, or something that a variety viewers like.

That takes research and patience, but it's how many big YouTubers increased their subscriber amount. No one wants to buy anything or use 10% off coupons. People want free stuff and free content. It might take some money out of their pockets, but if she's committed to growing her channel investing in her subscribers is incredibly important.

Several weeks late on this trend, guys. And they had to add in that they were paying for the people behind them. That is NOT some ground breaking twist.

I rolled my eyes so hard when they got to Starbucks and said "oh my gosh its another drink!" Of course it is! You're going to Starbucks...you need to assume you are getting drinks! Oh my gosh so stupid.

It must be nice to live in this little bubble where everything you do works out. Where your budget always comes through and you can still afford luxuries. Where you can eat out everyday and not gain weight, let alone not go bankrupt.

I think I'm done with this channel.
