I’m married to law enforcement and it’s not easy. It’s a 24/7 career and sometimes we don’t see him much for 5-6 days at a time. Lots of overtime. I can’t see her being a good cop wife. With three kids that’ll be hard.

I’m an LEO wife too and there’s so many things people don’t think about that you deal with. Making sure all plans are tentative, going to most events alone with all the kids, picking up the house before bed in case you get a knock on your door in the middle of the night. It’s hard. Luckily I have a great support system to help with my kids, but she’s virtually alone in TX.

Hea most likely going into customs and border patrol. Where I live thats basically what every single marine/soldier do when they get out if the military. Great pay and benefits, very similar structure to the military and a pension.

This is what I think too! It is a good gig and they like to hire former military, it was starting at 75k a year and more for certain states California and Texas were the highest pay. It would be fun for Adam to be around structure again. Most military thrive in this area!

My sister two boys were marines ones a prison guard and the does respiratory dr in the veterans hospital in Portland so I know there making ok money . I don’t know how much they make tho.

If he is going into border patrol I don't know how she will last. Lots of hours and travel (even if you live close to a border).

Yep & he would have to go to the FLET-C for training in New Mexico for a couple months. I don't see Tara juggling 3 kids alone while he does that. They don't allow families to go with.

I would enjoy watching Tara deal with living in the tiny town the facility is in though. The closest Target & Starbucks are over half an hour away (one way). She would have to shop at *gasp* Wal-Mart.

Didn't they say he was going back to school? I can't imagine her being able to deal with him going into training. Everyone I know in border patrol don't do social media and Adam loves doing YouTube and being Tara's manager.

Also what is the point of putting those Oreos in a canister? That was at least 3 bags. Apparently a Kardashian did it, is Tara trying to get a reality show?

I have to laugh... There are only 5 Target Stores in the whole state of So Dakota.
There's no Nordstrom either. There are less than 1 Million people. Dallas/Ft Worth is almost 2 times as large.

I'd love to see Adam take a new job up there!

Unless they are selling their house and moving closer to the border I don't see him going into CBP. No way.

Also, just a thought about the patio thing... Does she not realize how unbearably hot it gets here in July and August? Unless you have a pool there's literally no reason to be outside in the summer lol. It's miserable. She must not realize how sweaty hot and gross she will be especially with an infant??

Yes to all these things. I single parent half the month. Often eat dinners alone. Go to events alone. I’m sure the old ladies at church think Im either a single mom or my husband only casually comes lol. It’s super hard but we’re so proud of him.

Wow, I said it before and I'll say it again, Health Insurance for 5 is a ton of money. Even if he has Cobra for awhile.

Yikes... Hope Grayson is a healthy baby. I wouldn't risk my family at their young ages.

So she's due to deliver this baby anytime and he quits his job now?? What an idiot!! He couldn't wait until the baby was born? She said school doesn't start until the fall but he quit yesterday?? Healthcare coverage for a whole family thrown out the window, and Cobra is not cheap. FFS they are stupid.

You are so right about quitting before the baby is born but he said he's only thinking of himself now and doing what he wants to do.

Welding was too hard on his body and so was the military. Advising and counseling people in the military doesn't sound too hard on the body to me.
Oh and good luck thinking Facebook or Google will hire him to run ad campaigns for them.

I can just see him being busy at night doing school work while Tara struggles with 3 kids.

In a way, I guess that I understand Adam's thinking. If you have a passion, you should go for it. BUT he has a family now. It would be completely different if he was single. He can't just think about himself, especially with three kids. I guess they're going to live off of Tara's Youtube money for the next three years.
