Everly definitely looks mentally challenged... She can't walk straight, her facial features are... Off... She can't talk yet. The fit throwing isn't concerning really but it shows a lack of guidance on the part of her teen mom. Maddie is ignorant and just lets her do not and laughs about it. There's nothing cute about that little baby and Maddie just uses her as a prop. I feel like she really has no actual connection to her except as a play thing and someone to latch onto her tit. I actually would like to see YouTube demonetize her channel. She offers nothing to society whatsoever.

I actually do think Everly has Down Syndrome, possibly Mosaic kind in which the facial features are not always as obvious. Physical characteristics of Down Syndrome include flat face, slanted eyes, flattish back of head and also 2 very distinct features.... 'sandal toe' where there is a gap between the big toe and the others, and a single palmer crease ( that used to be referred to as a simian crease ). It seems odd that Everly would have all of these symptoms as well as a delay in walking and talking without DS being a strong possibility. Not that there is a problem with anyone having DS, but I used to think she was just unfortunate looking and now I think she may well have it.

Wow i agree. Thank you for this detailed post. This also explains why she looks nothing like Maddie or Isaac.

Wow, that is super detailed! You definitely are very observant, Scooby! The palmar crease is definitely the clincher for me. That toe, too... She seems to have poor muscle tone, too. It might also explain why she gets sick so much, as well. Every part Maddie does, that baby is sick. I have hard that the odds of Down Syndrome are higher for very young mothers and for older mothers.

I'm a midwife and am trying to steer away from armchair diagnosis when many of the characteristics I see in Everly can be present in typical children, or be characteristic of a number of genetic disorders, but yep, I agree with you. I'd never noticed the palmar crease before today but when I did and realised just how many Down Syndrome markers she does have, I'm fairly convinced she does have it. Not all DS children will have the same markers, but most will have at least 6 which Everly does. She easily has 6.

And yes, young women have moderate chances of it too but many will terminate after getting a diagnosis at 18-20 weeks whereas more older women will continue the pregnancy. I think this is generally where the misconception that only older mothers are at risk comes from.

While I also do not want to diagnose without seeing the kid in real life, I would think her doctors would have noticed, no?
It's nearly impossible that DS goes unnoticed for so long, I would think. It is often tested while pregnant and even if it wasn't, I would think the doctors would notice it.

Prenatal testing is not 100% in picking up DS ( or other genetic disorders ) but yes, the palmar crease would have been noted at birth. I'm not saying she has DS, just that it looks like she may. It's nothing she needs to announce to the world either way. Many on here have wondered before if she had it and I previously didn't think so, but seeing the palmar crease today has made me think differently. Mosaic DS affects the chromosonal cells differently and and isn't always as obvious as what most people think of when they imagine Down Syndrome.

Having only watched a few videos, Everly could very well have a diagnosis and Maddie just refuses to acknowledge or accept it.
She seems very immature and I wouldn’t be surprised if she thinks the doctors are wrong.

Apparently Mosaic Down Syndrome is mostly diagnosed between the age of 1 and 4 years old. I didn't know that. I wonder if Everly could have it and Maddie not be aware? http://thisability.org/chromosome_disor ... n_syndrome

I think Maddie may know it but hasn’t told her viewers out of fear of being judged, I hope Everly is healthy and these are speculations cause we all know Maddie and her air head mother would do nothing extra to help her excel.

Also off topic but did anyone else find it funny in her Q and A with her “boyfriend” when she said she’d just do law or medicine if youtube didn’t work out 😂

As if she had the academic capacity, those two are very different degrees and it takes two different kind of people to go into those two different fields

Seems like she just wanted to be intelligent so she said the top two most “smart person” things she would study 🤦🏻‍♀️

Roughly half of babies born with Down Syndrome will have some type of heart disease. This is what Maddie posted when she was 7 months pregnant. She did go on later to say that her heart looked OK but I don't think it's possible to have so many DS characteristics and not have it. It would be a massive co-incidence. I'm still leaning towards the mosaic kind as most DS babies are obvious and Everly does look typical at times though her delays are becoming more obvious with age.

Wow now I actually feel bad for Everly. She’s definitely special needs and Maddie and her mom are not trying to do anything to help her.. they probably thought the doctors were lying if they told her Everly is sick

The mother is an absolute moron and the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree with Maddie. I can't see Everly getting any proper support from them, the mother seems to want to hide Stone away with his autism and pretend her doesn't exist... River too who doesn't seem as physically attractive as maddie and Avie. What a shit show these two are ( Maddie and her mother )

Somebody once asked Maddie on her Instastory why Everly looks like she has Down Syndrome and Maddie literally said "lol, I don't think she looks like that". So she apparently thinks that idea is funny. I definitely think if she is DS it is mosaic... I saw a program on tv years ago like a Mystery Diagnosis where a six or seven year old girl was diagnosed with it and she looked totally typical. Everly for sure has something going on.

Check out this baby on Instagram. I searched for Mosaic Down Syndrome and found a bunch of kids with it. This one looks just like Everly.

This picture is also very telling to me. Everly looks to have very low tone and a very short neck... both again DS markers. Because she is chubby now the short neck looks relatively typical, but as a newborn this absolutely isn't ( nor is Maddie's priority of getting all glammed up and hamming it up for the camera like this at 14 years old ).
