So tax certificates can be purchased for investment purposes.

How does this affect Keren? Can they lose the house over this? If they just pay the balance does this issue end?

Eventually they could. The most likely sinerio if theirs was purchased they would have to pay the purchaser of their certificate all the back taxes plus accrued interest or something like that. The chances of it being sold though are slim and they will probably realize they are late and pay them. I don’t think the counties though send out anything to let you know your certificate is for sale. I once knew someone who found out by reading it in the paper. She had forgot to pay. I bet this isn’t the first time KK has been late.

Soooo remember when Keren said that they paid off their mortgage...well she failed to realize that paid off mortgages are public record in Florida and not only has she not paid it off but she actually is delinquent on 2018's property taxes

Okay...not to be this person, but at least here in NH your monthly payment included taxes and it’s the mortgage companies job to submit those payments twice a year when they are due..

Not if you choose to pay them yourself to keep your monthly payment as low as possible. My dad does that in CA, but I put mine in an escrow account bc I don’t want to deal with it.

If there is no mortgage though you have to pay them on your own. Even if you have a mortgage you can choose to not have it included.

I am not sure there was enough info to say if it is paid off or not. What was those two LLC that were listed. Is it possible they did a rent to own type of thing where there was no mortgage company. Then paid them off.

It is kind of scary how easy it is for you guys to just dig up this kind of stuff. I always wondered how people found the homes of celebrities and public figures when I was younger, but everything is easily accessible online. KK should have been more careful about hiding their location if they didn't want their fans coming to their house.

Cullen and Katie are paying their mortgage directly to the people they bought the house from. I wonder if that could be what kk did. Then they paid them off. Cullen and Katie never could of got a loan for that house so they went about it different. Kk might not of been able to but this house with a mortgage and went through the owner.

Her name wouldn’t have been on the deed until it was sold to her if she was doing rent to own and the deed date with her name is the same time they posted their video. I get that about the date. I was going to ask that. I just try to know the facts and how sometimes things don’t always look as they seem. This does look bad though.
