Guess who she got the idea from?

That’s right. Ellie. She said so in a vlog a few weeks ago.

Basically let Emma deal with the baby downstairs where no one has to hear them and be disturbed. How nice Image

This is my post from when she originally said it. Sorry, it was an IG story and not on a vlog.

Ellie is giving Landon career advice (veterinary school) and they are considering it. This is the weirdest situation I've seen with a thirty plus year old with multiple degrees relying on YouTube for the family income and is still unsettled in his career. I think his lifestyle choice would be YouTube if the income was better since it has less demands and a carefree schedule.

Sheesh Landon. Pick a career and stick with it. It's not like you're 17 anymore.

Exactly. How much of his current education would transfer over? How much additional schooling would he need to become a vet?

He has a family to take care of (not that Julie couldn't provide or help provide financially, but they've decided that she wont be so they've made it up to Landon to provide), yet he's unemployed, wishy-washy on what he even wants to do and is making his family struggle more then necessary because of it! He has more then enough education to get a decent job. Go get a freaking job Landon!

I doubt much would transfer over to a veterinary program with his focus on sports medicine other than perhaps generals that were taken years ago. I agree there is no reason while there is nothing going on with school, he could put some applications out there and try to find a job in administration. Instead, he is raising chickens. I believe Julie has her license and could work too, but she would need to accept Landon's dreams might mean she can't stay at home. In Kansas, she talked about working since they needed benefits so I'm not sure how they provide for these now?

Good grief, I thought everyone biting into the cake is gross. Nope today's topped that with Julie and Ellie. I just skipped past it. Plus it was boring because Julie's siblings had already vlogged the hike.

Yep let's jump to another career!

Veterinary school is notoriously hard to get into and doesn’t pay that well. If he seriously wants job in some sort of medical specialty, nursing is the way to go. He could do an 18 month second degree program and be done. Then he could do an NP program after while earning money as a nurse. We all know nursing is below Landon though and he’d never do that. He could do PA school but again, that’s difficult to get into I really don’t think his resume is all that spectacular. There are options besides doctor that he totally ignored...I think he enjoys being a forever student and not haven’t to do any actual work. I will not be one bit surprised in a year when they’re back in the same spot and he’s still not accepted in a PhD program and these two idiots are acting all dumbfounded like how is this possible that no one will except him.

And vet school is harder to get into than med school. My cousin went to vet school,, and his fall back was medical school.
Ellie is a moron.

Julie posted on IG how they've reached two hundred thousand subscribers, but on social blade it depicts a slow (declining) growing channel with under a million views a month. I don't know how they make it on what social blade shows as their income, but they must be incredibly good at budgeting.

Does anyone else get grossed out by them constantly insisting on kissing their children on the mouth? The Griffiths all seem to have constant cold sores which means they have Herpes so why would you risk spreading that lifetime disease to your children? Your mouth has more germs then anywhere else on your body. There seriously is no reason to kiss your child on the mouth. I’m not saying to not kiss them but just don’t kiss their mouths.

I see Julie is feeding Lucy with a bird feeding or kisses technique and it made Grandma Griff jealous. It is so gross watching Grandma giving her granddaughter a carrot through bird "kisses" method. I don't know about Julie, but this family has a strong history of HSV-1 or cold sores and I don't see why you need to do this. Who is watching Lucy? She managed to drop a tablet in the toilet and get outside by herself with two parents at home?
Does anyone know why with YT being their sole income, they don't vlog full-time?

I was so grossed out by the mouth thing that I forgot about the toilet thing. That almost seemed set up to me. But if she indeed did that with nobody watching then shame on them. A child that small can easily drown in toilet. She could fall head first reaching for something inside.

This made Grandma Griff jealous, there was the weird leg licking incident with Ruby’s Julie, and when Emma was little and big Julie would visit her parents, Grandma Griff used to get up with Emma and take baths with her before Julie got up. That all just screams of a lack of boundaries and utter creepiness.

Watching their latest vlog when Dad goes away, what the hell did I watch. She doesn’t have wipes so she licks Porter’s face. So she gets Lucy to kiss her by holding food in her mouth and to clean her son’s face she licks it. I had hope she would be a normal one. So disgusting.

omg what is it with these 2? I just watched a few of their videos and i'm appalled. Clearly something is wrong and Landon can't cope with the work load or something. If he really wanted to be a professor why the heck would he give up on med school? A lot of people get their mD and don't do a residency but instead use it to teach, do research , get into industry, etc. It's an unbelievable amount of debt especially if they were using loans to support the family and not just for his tuition. He can't get through med school, how does he think he'll make it through vet school or a phd? as someone currently in med school, let me tell you that failing out looks very bad especially for any future grad or professional programs. I know people in that position and they had trouble switching careers into PT/PA and stuff like that. HOnestly he can make good money with the degrees he already has and he should use that. julie and landon need a wakeup call that that's not a sustainable way to live especially with a family!

I think you're on to something.

Does he even have any degree like they claim? I have a relative who fooled everyone that he was a professor until he got caught, it was a mess. So people can lie or twist the truth a little.
I remember in the beginning when Landon had his own channel and promoted himself as a doctor through conversations and advice in the comment section and the picture of him with a stethoscope and "a patient". Until one day when a viewer for some reason called him out and asked him why he was pretending to be a doctor when he wasn't. His respond was I never said that I was a doctor and the pictures of him illustrating a doctor was taken during his volunteer work according to him. I don't know if it was only a misunderstanding, but I remember that many viewers thought for a minute that he was a doctor.
I don't think he finished anything. Do they have any pictures of him graduating? If so then I apologies.
I just think that if he has a degree in something the best thing for him would be to get a job in that field, start somewhere and take care of his family.

I agree with you all. It's weird that he can't figure out what he wants to do or that he is not able to finish anything at all. But according to his LinkedIn profile he has a master's degree. I don't think he can teach at university without a Master's? And they were celebrating his graduation a while back. I remember Ruby and Kevin (or was it Jared?) were congratulating him.

But I also feel sorry for him and for all these mormon men that have the pressure to become something fancy like a doctor or pilot. I can imagine that it must be hard when you are expected to provide for your stay at home wife and a million kids.

He actually had an option to become a Youtube husband. But they couldn't even keep a regular schedule vlogging. Its' a blessing having successful sisters so why didn't they use that? Both Bonnie and Ellie vlogged with small children and Youtube husbands.
Actually many Mormon men who don't know what do to with their lives take whatever job they can get to make ends meets. Landon is lucky to have a degree, that should land him a descent job if anything.
I don't feel sorry for him because he is in a better position than many other men out there and I remember him being very arrogant, cocky, almost condescending in a way.
