I just had my hubby watch it. He said that if the husband thinks that video is good and is something his son will appreciate when he's older the husband needs to lay off of the drugs, lol.

Hi guys very long time lurker from across the pond!(Liverpool, England) I’ve side eyed and rolled my eyes so many times to this pair for years, but this name video broke me! What in the world was that!? I’ve never come across a more pretentious, ridiculous couple than these two! I feel embarrassed to my core for them. Kelsey stop trying to be a hippie Earth child, it ain’t happening. I have no words for the controlling workshy “artist” manchild either, other than give it up already and support your family better. My first encounter with STW was when I was cluster feeding and wanted new people to watch on YouTube. I kindly suggested a few things on a YouTube video, and ten minutes later had my first experience of a lot of their minions, trying to take me down and these young kids calling me “a mean old lady” I was 32 at the time 😂 Wasnt being mean either, I was simply saying don’t rule anything out, like them saying we don’t need a car, and then needed a car in Portland etc. Her saying i don’t want an epidural or drugs etc, how did she know what she’d need, until the time you don’t! They wouldn’t be helped by anyone, and thought they knew everything. Nothing has changed has it really! Their decline has been rapid despite what they think. I’d love to know what happened with the bumps, I doubt we’ll ever find out, well unless Brian has a let loose kind of moment and spills all! Over 3000 people have actually liked that name video, I shudder at this world sometimes! I’ll stop rambling now, it’s nice to finally say hello to you all though! x

It makes me laugh that after they spoiled their own name reveal multiple times, they tried to keep people engaged by claiming, “Well, you don’t know the WHOLE name yet.” And then they used the exact same naming convention that they used with their first and gave him his father’s middle name. Wow really threw people a curve ball there. At least he can go by Adam as an adult if he chooses.

I thought the first name reveal was embarrassing, and this took it to a new level of cringe. I really can’t imagine what it’s like to have these two clowns as parents. How can a five-minute video feel so long? It’s the kind of video you must skip through because it’s just so uncomfortable to watch.

They could have been less pretentious and just done a sit-down clip in a regular vlog after they let the name slip and just talked about the origin of the name and how they decided on it. They shared no information about the name choice itself. Is Adam a family name? Why Tabor? Is there a reason they went with two Hebrew/Biblical names? They probably just liked the sound of it and don’t have any connection to it. Which is totally fine, but they try to play it off like they’re so deep with this name choice, when I imagine very little thought went in to it. Hebrew/Old Testament names are getting very trendy right now, so of course they're jumping on the bandwagon.

I really don’t think they had any idea about the Biblical meaning of the name. It was discussed here that when they lived in PDX they used to hike up, Mt Tabor. Of course that also could have been a lie. Agree, They should have had a sit down and explain all that and what it meant to them.

I really think he’s buying views again. Just have to look at their usual views. Especially since they let the name slip three times! I just question what he’s going to come up now that they’ve done this.

They’ve never said anything else about that PR trip that they tried to do. Their minions have short term memory loss not to question that crap.

What if they come out looking nothing like the name you chose for them? What we always did was had a few names we liked and when our kids are born we decided on the name that fit him the best.

I think it's a cultural thing because I had no idea people did this. I know newborns all look the same but idk naming them based on the idea of 'the baby' seems weird to me when you could make a list then actually meet them and see what feels right for that specific child.

But it begs the question - is it a worse crime to actually look your newborn in the eyes and name them Tabor or do it to them before they're born?

*PERSONAL* scroll if you don't like that kind of thing.

In regards to naming babies before they're born. Once I know the sex I make a list of names I like and then I go from there and try to think how they could be made fun of, does the first, middle and last all flow nicely. We like to use a family name so each kid has a family name in there some how.

My first son, I knew his name when I was 12. I heard it in an Irish movie and I said if I ever had a son that would be his name.

Middle son is named after my grandpa.

Daughter was the hardest. We thought half the pregnancy we were going with one name then finally came to what she is named. We did have back ups. Just incase they did not feel right but luckily they all fit their names well.

I picked out my daughter's name before she was conceived. It just felt right to me. Then during the pregnancy we picked a different name, but it never felt 100% right and it had a component that could easily be teased (I know all names can be teased, but this was a REALLY easy target). The last few days of the pregnancy, in my head I changed the name back to what I originally wanted and it felt like her name. So during contractions at the hospital I told my husband I wanted to change the name and he agreed. :D So in a way I based it on what I felt her personality/disposition would be like and how I pictured her while she was still in the womb.

My son is named after a name I heard on "SCRUBS". Lol. Granted it's a perfectly normal common name but I loved that show and loved the name when I heard it. :) His middle name is after family. :)

He's in school now and there's a family with a son named Forest, a son named River, and daughter named Stream. Nice people. Names aren't that bad, but they obviously love nature! :D

Had my last been a boy his name would have been Alaric. I have loved that name since I heard it on VD. I am 99.9% done having kids, but if I ever have a done that will be his name.

What the ....? An “art” piece? Their kidding right? They don’t even talk about Mt Tabor in PDX. Just go into the Biblical meaning...which partly was wrong (they didn’t mention that it means navel in Hebrew).

So Kelsey came up with the script for that video. He considers himself such a great videographer, but between her script, them being horrible actors, his editing (no continuity), and unable to explain what was going on, the whole thing sucked. They even had a hard time trying to make sense of it in their “explanation vlog” today.
A feather showing wind???? What?

They’re so pretentious if they think doing a slop vlog/video once a month is going to bring in $$$$. Corbin talking about how long it took him to edit the stars was ridiculous because he has no idea what he’s doing and it shows.

So they’re saying that they only put out 3 vlogs a week so that should give them time to do artsy/fartsy....hahaha. You have to have talent you idiots.

They weren't even buying the bullshit they were selling. They couldn't say have the shit with a straight face because even they know it is garbage. Turn your comments back on, the ones you can't pay for and let the people give you an honest review you pussy.

What's most telling to me is how obvious it is from that explanation that Corbin is desperately seeking validation and cares A LOT about impressing other people. Well of course he does, it's usually the reason people think their lives are interesting enough for vlogs. But he takes it to a whole other level of try-hard. Since when is picking a name for your child about producing something that looks like a freshman art project and getting "almost everyone" to "love it"? He was so hung up on this idea that "99%" of the feedback he saw was positive and so flabbergasted that other people thought it was "generic." As if his Instagram meltdown didn't already solidify this, he clearly obsesses over the critiques. I bet he can't help but read here.

That whole video was so defensive, while pretending that all the feedback they got was glowing. They were both talking so much about how "hard" it was to make and how it took a whole day of editing, as if that was supposed to make the finished product better or more impressive to viewers. They have no concept of work and what other people do at their jobs all day, such as work on projects that could take all day, or many months. Considering their follow-up video was literally filming themselves talking about it, I'm not terribly impressed that they had to do ONE challenging project all week and expect accolades for it.

And if you need to make a video of yourself watching the original video and explaining every little thing, you probably didn't do a good job of making your point. None of the "symbolism" they tried to explain made any sense and you could tell it was a reach, hence the laughing throughout. Apart from his brief stint as an admin assistant at a Unitarian church in Portland, they've never expressed any interest in religion or the Bible. It's almost like they thought "Oh crap, we have to explain this name choice and apparently it's biblical, so let's come up with something to make it sound intentional."

They must have complained about not having a dishwasher so much, I bet Corbins parents bought them one. I’m still amazed that it was such an issue with Kelsey...2 adults and a toddler. Spoiled brats.

Good grief could they be any more pretentious? Corbin thinks mighty highly of himself. Please someone sign up to be a movie director stat! I hate to break this too him, but the Baby Name Reveal video sucked!
