I used to be on that train too, but I’ve seen horror stories of what could go wrong. I just think it’s completely unnecessary, and painful.
It’s really not as popular anymore. I read online 60% of boys are circumcised. That’s almost half and half. I think it used to be what everyone did, I’m glad that people have changed their minds.

I agree girl. Before I was a mom I thought it was just normal. That’s what you do but I did my research and it really is not common anymore. Not that I care about my sex life but it’s better for them when they are intact. No higher risk for infection if the child is properly taught to clean himself. Actually USA is the only country that does it for cosmetic purposes.

It baffles me when people says it’s cleaner to circumcise? Like wtf women have hella folds and manage to keep it clean. I know a boy who had a botched one and had to have it redone because it started causing problems. He is only 2. And people get mad when women want to pierce their kids ears. I’m off my soap box now.

I’m in Canada and here the rate is much lower... 30%. In Europe it’s not common at all. My family is European so no one in my family is circumcised. Even my Russian Jew husband isn’t. I think it’s just another way for the American health system to make money... just like with all the scheduled inductions and csections. Not knocking medically necessary inductions or csections... I had one for high blood pressure. People need to educate themselves more and not think doctors make decisions for them.

Yeah! I mean, in one of the stories, you can see marks on his skin from it. Baby skin is sensitive so I limit anything.

"That's rude! Milk isn't considered expired until 5 days after the "sell by" or "best by" date. They are completely within their rights to have it on the shelf until the 26th. If you want one with a further out date, reach behind that one and grab another one. Name calling is unnecessary."
