I definitely heard her say she let the epidural wear off which I didn't understand. Why even get it if you're going to let it wear off all the way but I totally understood the frustration of being told to not push. I think its so ridiculous when they tell women to not push. It's literally your body telling you it's time to. That can cause so many problems. When they tried telling me not to push I told them to fuck off. Thankfully my midwife came in right after and she was amazing.
But this weird shout out contest that Adam is doing is so odd. We're not 12 and you're not some big celebrity.

I don’t know why she would do it herself but my doctor decided to lower my epidural because I was pushing for hours and nothing. They thought I was too numb to do it right so they did that and introduced pitocin (even though I was at 10 for hours at that point) and man that hurt. And then they told me to have a break and not push for a while to regain strength (as if you can not push when it's time to push) I was hysterical... So I could kind of sympathize with Tara. Still I'm surprised a little because I am a FTM and it was her 3rd but seemed like her 1st based on how she coped.

I went on Tara's Instagram to look at pics of Shay to compare to FAS children and I couldn't believe how many pics of Baylee she posts compared to Shay. I would say she post 1 pic of Shay and 10 of Baylee. It's just crazy to me how she favors B and she doesn't even try to hide it.

Fyi to all of you. The epidural is not perfect every time and it sometimes fails! The babies position sometimes affects it too. People respond to pain differently and not being able to push...whether you have an epidural or not is the worst feeling in the world and fucking painful!!! All you pretending you were perfect during labor congrats!!! Want a prize Labor should be the one thing not criticized... we have all brought beautiful little humans into this world and we all know how emotional, draining, and painful it is.

I just wanna mention than an induction does not hurt worse than a natural occurring labor. Contractions aren’t that bad until about 7 or 8 cms and then you don’t get a break in between them to catch your breath. I did two natural births, I don’t want people to scare the shit out of first time moms. Labor is all about the correct headspace. Screaming and carrying on is just gonna make your more tired. It’s not necessary. I hate women who are having a normal labor and delivery act like their dying. Obviously those are plenty of people who have difficult ones no shame to them.

She literally seemed like this was her first time giving birth. I can't tell if the dramatics were for the camera or if she really is that much of a drama queen?! Don't get me wrong, I was emotional giving birth too, but I didn't feel the need to wail and cry nonstop. My nurses talked to my husband and I and congratulated us. Her nurses were so over her.

Also, repeating over and over that "he's so cute"?! I guess that is what matters to TMan.

Regardless, I still teared up watching this and think he is a beautiful baby.

Every pregnancy is different and your body reacts to every pregnancy differently. I dont think we should denounce someones pain. Everyone deals with pain differently. I think she was extra emotional because they finally have a boy.and it was finally surreal.

Absolutely overly dramatic and both were playing it up for the camera. notice how creepy kept checking to make sure they were in frame during the dramatic and forced crying at the end.

Ok just finished watching... First of all, Adam is a creepy skeez. I would have slapped my husband silly if he was wrapped up in a girly fleece blanket like a little sissy while I was in labor. I know the dad can’t do much during the early stages, but damn. Secondly, I know the birth of your child can be emotional, but geez Louise, homegirl needed to get a grip at the end. And the constant Adam nuzzling into her crying man face and chest during her non Oscar worthy crying performance...it was all for show and over dramatic. I couldn’t take it anymore....I had to put it on mute. I would have turned it off completely, but I couldn’t quit watching her nurses “over it” facial expressions. They were the real stars of this video IMO.

Right, like I don’t understand the absolute wailing she did once he was born. It wasn’t even a happy cry, it was so over the top. She wasn’t like that in any of her other births which just proves to me she was trying to perform for the cameras. Those nurses knew they were being filmed and they still kinda looked like

I have no idea about induction vs natural contraction pains since I have only had 1 child and I had to be induced but I do know that trying to get through the pain was really hard because of the fact that I was hooked up to a bunch of stuff. I would much rather labor at home or at least be able to walk around the hospital without dragging a stupid IV pole around to try to get my mind off of it.

Hopefully this time I don’t have to be induced
