Im surprised they let them film it. I have been at the birth of friends and family and each time everyone had to leave the room. I've heard other vlogger say the same about not filming it.

I can’t believe anyone is actually following Adam on IG. He seems like he’s just one step above Tara on the intelligence scale and every picture of him he looks like a major creep. Add in the rants at Target hourly employees for not being perfect 24/7 and I really don’t see the appeal.

Ok just finished watching... First of all, Adam is a creepy skeez. I would have slapped my husband silly if he was wrapped up in a girly fleece blanket like a little sissy while I was in labor. I know the dad can’t do much during the early stages, but damn. Secondly, I know the birth of your child can be emotional, but geez Louise, homegirl needed to get a grip at the end. And the constant Adam nuzzling into her crying man face and chest during her non Oscar worthy crying performance...it was all for show and over dramatic. I couldn’t take it anymore....I had to put it on mute. I would have turned it off completely, but I couldn’t quit watching her nurses “over it” facial expressions. They were the real stars of this video IMO.

It could have been any blanket really, it just happened to be pink and frilly, but thats not the point...he was curled up like a little baby while his wife was in labor.

I definitely heard her say she let the epidural wear off which I didn't understand. Why even get it if you're going to let it wear off all the way but I totally understood the frustration of being told to not push. I think its so ridiculous when they tell women to not push. It's literally your body telling you it's time to. That can cause so many problems. When they tried telling me not to push I told them to fuck off. Thankfully my midwife came in right after and she was amazing.
But this weird shout out contest that Adam is doing is so odd. We're not 12 and you're not some big celebrity.

I don’t know why she would do it herself but my doctor decided to lower my epidural because I was pushing for hours and nothing. They thought I was too numb to do it right so they did that and introduced pitocin (even though I was at 10 for hours at that point) and man that hurt. And then they told me to have a break and not push for a while to regain strength (as if you can not push when it's time to push) I was hysterical... So I could kind of sympathize with Tara. Still I'm surprised a little because I am a FTM and it was her 3rd but seemed like her 1st based on how she coped.

Thanks for sharing that. I've delivered twice with epidurals and couldn't understand her being in pain with them. I was straight up numb waist down. I guess I now feel slightly less judgey about her dramatics.

I just wanna mention than an induction does not hurt worse than a natural occurring labor. Contractions aren’t that bad until about 7 or 8 cms and then you don’t get a break in between them to catch your breath. I did two natural births, I don’t want people to scare the shit out of first time moms. Labor is all about the correct headspace. Screaming and carrying on is just gonna make your more tired. It’s not necessary. I hate women who are having a normal labor and delivery act like their dying. Obviously those are plenty of people who have difficult ones no shame to them.

I beg to differ based on first hand experience on your first statement. An induction hurts insanely worse than natural labor.

Right I always thought it was pictures only! Honesty it’s just pissing me off watching her give birth so calmly I didn’t have enough time for an epidural and I screamed and cried the whole time I was pushing

I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that she was just making all that noise for some drama. I’ve heard so many moms say, “I got the epidural but it didn’t work, it wore off etc.”
They just want to pretend like they did it naturally for the pats on the back. She did not at all look like she was delivering him naturally.
I think she’s a massive liar.
I applaud anyone who can give birth without an epidural. I’m a huge baby, and I know I won’t be able to do it without one. I would love to be able to do that, but I know I won’t.
I just get really upset when people do use epidurals, and then lie and say they didn’t work.

I was surprised they let them film it but with my first birth I got an epidural and my husband didn’t have to leave. I was actually a little nervous they would make him leave because I had watched Aaryns first birth video not that long before (my first was born shortly after Skyla) and she said Nick had to leave the room. In retrospect though I wish my husband had been kicked out because he passed out and hit the floor and ended up with an ER trip himself to get stitches from hitting his head.

And then when he would look out of the corner of his eye to make sure the camera is still on.... worst acting goes to those two

This nurse’s face sums up my feelings about this birth perfectly. She’s a total mood. Love her!

That nurse was everything! Tara was beyond ridiculous and quite frankly put herself at risk during her epi. You’re supposed to remain hunched over and completely still. She kept sitting up and tensing her body. The entire experience was made worse by the way she was screeching “ow”and keeping her body rigid. Also, I’m not sure I believe her when she says she was told to not push for an entire hour. That does not even seem safe.

Anyone think they got sponsored by Wal-Mart (door dash is who delivers for them in some places). Just seems odd they got that milk from target so obviously Adam went grocery shopping and then suddenly walmart order delivered like they were setting that up.
