What made the little girl at the exam table so weird is that it wasn't Lucy's kid but instead the Midwife's little girl. Sorry but that is not professional at all. I understand people wanting to use midwives, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't still act in a professional manner.

Oh one more thing, her midwife sounds a little off. I'd be suspicious of any OB/midwife that confirms the theory that x sperm have varying life spans than y.

I have heard this many times before. I think it's that y are faster swimmers and x are slower swimmers but live longer? I'm not sure if it's medically been proven but it is something I have heard before.

I just watched the video and thought the same thing. At first I was like, is that jace....no...who the hells kid is that. I first thought the girl was Jacelyn, until I heard her speak. Her voice was so clear and she enunciated her words much better than Jacelyn. I know it's probably because she's older than Jacelyn, but I think all three Eades kids have slight speech issues (see the Christmas video and the one about Kacen's broken arm). I hope the kids get speech therapy or learn to enunciate better as they mature. That's something they would have benefited from if they attended public school. (My sister greatly benefited from speech classes when she was in public school.) I wish Lucy would do a follow-up video about Kacen's ears, hearing and speech therapy (if he even did it or stuck with it).

As for the girl hovering over Lucy as the patient. I think the adults didn't mind because the midwife and her family are friends with the Eades. I recall Lucy saying on her blog that they did play dates and zoo trips with her midwife's family. So I'm assuming the girl was curious and didn't think she was crossing any boundaries. HOWEVER, I agree that it was very unprofessional. The kids should have given the adults privacy. Although, if the midwife is anything like Lucy, she probably labels her daughter's curiosity as "following in mommy's footsteps" and praises her for hovering.

I'm surprised Jacelyn wasn't hovering nearby during the video, based on her alleged growing obsession with babies and pregnancy (or so Lucy claims). I'm also surprised Lucy didn't say, "Oh, Jacelyn wasn't there during the exam because she was busy being den mother by watching the younger kids for us."

I try to be respectful even to those type of people because I feel like it's more the Christian thing to do BUT I couldn't help myself this time with that one.

Since when is Lucy usually respectful of those who question her motives and actions or think differently from her lifestyle choices and parenting values? Or does she count deleting comments and blocking people or letting her minions to attack others to be the respectful route?

I agree with F.H. (No, I'm not F.H.) Why can't she be happy with three kids? I am sorry that I am one of those people who can't comprehend why someone wants to have 4+ biological children. If you can afford to raise half a dozen or so kids, why not adopt or foster orphans? I would if we could afford it and had room for them. Our country, society and employment environment/conditions no longer necessitate having a brood of kids to help in the field or work in the factory. So I would appreciate valid points that do NOT boil down to "because we love kids and can afford it." Again, my response is "then adopt!" There are more than enough orphans and at-risk kids who need guardians/parents, role models, support, care and love.

We have tons of nurses in both our families and I'd like to HOPE they have good bed side manner... lol Never had them as my personal nurse though. Joel and I were both nurses when we younger. Again not ALL, but MOST... lol Its like they forget why they got into the field to begin with.

You hit on a big point--"if we could afford it". We researched adoption after I nearly died having my first child. I was scared to have another biological child, but wanted more kids. So we started through the process. The paperwork, the time, the MONEY, the emotional rollercoaster, the risk that you could be promised a child, prepare a room for it, and then BAM--you lose that kid.... I believe those are quite valid points to be more encouraged to have children naturally if you can. A friend of mine just literally brought home her adopted baby girl, after months of agony because the birth mother went back and forth for five months. Fostering kids holds the same emotional rollercoaster, and I strongly believe that it's not for everyone. My mom is a social worker, and she's said many times that not just anyone should foster a kid, that it takes someone with a special compassion and an open mind, knowing that a child may be ripped from a foster's arms just to go back into a volatile home. Let's face it--there's a lot less heartache by having your own. There are still risks involved, but adopting and fostering is not just some easy thing.

And, Texas is not China. Thankfully, we're allowed to have the freedom to have the children we want. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't want someone to tell me that I have to get sterilized because I can't have more than one or two kids.

That said, I agree with those who've said that Lucy's kids have speech issues. They're really mumbly, and I agree they could benefit by being around other kids. If she's homeschooling, she needs to get involved in a homeschool co-op and meet regularly. I'm sure they exist in her part of Texas.

^^^ Jacelyn is pretty behind, considering she will be 5 in a month! Kacen just has SERIOUS speech issues and she needs to have him in aggressive therapy. Lucy homeschooling w/ a newborn is going to screw those kids over educationally.

i'd like to adopt one day, i have beautiful sons and would love to adopt a daughter or 2. maybe one day.. however as for lucy having another baby, i have more then her and am not against her having more. just think they need to focus more on the 3 they have. school wise, and her health wise needs to be thought into this. i don't care if she is like the duggars, more power to her vagina. lmao.. however i do hope she will try harder teaching her children and get them the help they need for their speech issues.
