Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Holy crap I cannot believe she’s using that purse for herself lol. I actually thought she’d wait it out until she hit her goal. Her greedy self just couldn’t do it though. It’s pathetic honestly. And maybe if she put out better content she’d actually be at 100k by now. I’m embarrassed for her.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Ok, I unsubscribed recently because I couldnt take it anymore. I didnt want to be a number helping her to get closer to 100K. But I watched this video after seeing the comments above. Everything about this video rubbed me the wrong way. First of all, I hate the way ALL of these mommy youtubers start editing their videos once they get a little bit of success. I don't need you to lay your camera in the grass so I see your asses walking into church. Its YouTube, not a Hollywood production. I am well aware that you have to turn right around and edit out the walk back. It's so beyond cheesy and stupid. And shes not the only one. Mandy In The Making gained some success with her what's for dinner videos and now she tries to edit them like shes on the freaking food network. It's so annoying. Just be down home and like a normal mom. I don't need the production. And dont get me started on her hubby's God awful fake reviews. But I digress.
The purse thing. I had the vacuum running while she was "getting it off her her heart" but it sure sounded like a lot of excuses. A lot of talking herself into carrying a 1000 dollar purse (probably more but I dont follow LV). If shes trying to make me feel bad that her growth slowed down, she failed miserably. And it also felt like she was blaming her subscribers for not helping her. It's no ones responsibility but her own to get to 100K. And she might try for years and never get there. So I dont blame her for pulling out the purse but I also dont think she ever should have bought it in the first place. If anything, that was the jinx. Not the fact that she decided to use it.
Did she seriously just give us a tutorial on how to fold a burrito?

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Ugh I mean I wouldn’t want to have that purse just sitting there. Maybe she does read here?! Haha. At least she admits it was a lofty goal. But like I’ve said here before she needs a serious channel makeover if she wants to reach 100k! Change it up! Make a fake mess and clean it. Whatever it takes! Lol.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I thought she was going to do a giveaway now and not keep the purse. I should have known better. She has one brand new and one used LV bag already. I could care less about the expensive bags (not my thing), but it seemed incredibly selfish to keep it for herself and not give it away it now. It seemed contradictory to me. I’ll never understand youtubers and how they all seem to change once they gain a little bit of so-called “fame”.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
The purse video made me unsubscribe to her. Unbelievable. I honestly thought she was going to do the giveaway now. I was thinking that’s so nice! She appreciates the woman who watch her and she doesn’t care about the number. Some woman is going to be so happy to win that! Then she says she’s keeping it!!! I was in disbelief. I’m done with her. Gross.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Despite what she says, i dont think this woman or her family have ever struggled for anything. She has no idea how much someone would have appreciated a purse like that as they will never be afford it on their own. She is so out of touch and I think she always has been. It probably never even crossed her mind to do the giveaway early. Good luck getting to 100K now.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before but like everyone has been saying, she should have just done the giveaway anyway! I wonder if she honestly did plan to give it away or just wait and end up using it. It’s unfortunate that she will probably lose subscribers because of this.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Like KSGirl4Ever said, all she laid down were excuses. She wants that plaque badly and the status she thinks comes with it like it's an Oscar. I know a lot of you think she should have done another type of giveaway since the 100,000 subscribers was unattainable, but I believe that LV bag was never going to belong to anyone but Ashely all along. She knew how to draw a crowd to get what she wanted and then pulled out the rug.
That speech about it weighing heavy on her heart is garbage because she couldn't even look at the camera when she said it.

My Dad who was full blooded Cherokee born in Oklahoma, would say. “What an Indian giver” LoL . That is a cold blooded move on her part. Like a previous poster said, to take away a chance to own one of these unattainable handbags because of the ridiculous price point. She just snatched up some young girls reason to keep dreaming by pulling the candy out of a baby’s hand, so to speak, then taking it for herself. What a nasty woman, all the more reason to dislike Youtubers!!

And I bet we are not the only ones who think this is awful and gross. But we'll never know because Chase doesnt allow any negative comments and she supposedly doesnt even know what this site is. She lives in a perfect little fake bubble.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I tried watching her today and did not like her. Her home is mediocre. The decor is awful. Gold and stainless in the kitchen? Do tacky. Does she not see that it clashes and looks bad? She seems weird. The bag thing made her look selfish. She's done.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think she made the right choice keeping it for herself. To admit that she wants to reach 100k for the YouTube silver plaque was honest of her. She's not doing YouTube for the heck of it. She has goals and more subscribers means more exposure for her channel. Which means more money.
Her mistake was thinking her audience cares that much about LV bags. Personally, I think she'd do better giving away candles, soaps, cleaning products, and planners. She has to giveaway what she markets. If she were a beauty guru she'd give away makeup or gift cards to clothing stores. Maybe she should giveaway gift cards to Home Goods or Target for cleaning or home decor giveaways.
And she should keep that bag for herself to tell stay at home moms (or moms who work side jobs), "You can celebrate yourself. You can buy nice things for yourself for the work you do".
I HOPE none of her subscribers are upset they didn't receive a $2000 bag when her channel is about cleaning. That was not a good marketing strategy to gain 100k and now she sees that. It's not selfish for her to keep it. She has to be smarter about her audience though.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I think she's underestimating how crazy people get for home decor & cleaning products. And viewers judge a thumbnail by its cover. I don't think she should purposefully make her home messy for a video. However, she can clickbait a little more with, "MOM ON THE MOVE SPEED CLEANING" or a "Plan With Me" video. Something different and can reach a larger audience.
I think she could reach at least 90k before the year is up. She just has to think outside the box and giveaway smaller gifts each month.

I agree, candles, household products or even a simple gift card is more along the lines of what will build a youtube's channel. I also agree that it isn't selfish to keep the bag because it was bought for herself in the first place. She just decided to use it as a game piece to gain subscribers and it didn't work.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:48 pm I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think she made the right choice keeping it for herself. However, I do think that if she has lofty goals and a high subscriber/view count, she really needs to come up with something more interesting than cleaning a clean house, rearranging the same rooms, showing her backyard or car chats about where they just ate. I personally don't dislike the lady, I just find her content stagnant and forced.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
The excuses are just that, excuses!! I live in a world that people are held accountable for the things they say and do. So when this woman was offering a gift to her subs for reaching a personal goal was shady, but to offer the gift and then take it back is wrong. What else has she changed her mind about mid thought?? It’s a trust issue and when you break it, watch out because our word is all we have and when you Fuq with that it is bound to get ugly. She’s got to remember that her subs she “loves” are STRANGERS! Not all of them are good people, not all of them follow the rules, some are down right scary, so to do a take back of a promised item may have a fall out. Just not a good look on anyone. All of her fellow youtubers are laughing at her because she’s now one of thirsty people who got greedy and desperate to win a plaque and snubbed her subs because they didn’t deliver on her bribe.

I agree. She has to be more creative and make greater changes to grow her channel.QueenMaleficent wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:03 pmI agree, candles, household products or even a simple gift card is more along the lines of what will build a youtube's channel. Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Meh. She thinks she's Ree Drummond of YouTube. Her hillbilly husband and her redneck life are just unappealing to the average woman. Tara and Aaryn are number one for a reason. I think this woman is on the older side too. Good lord, she's so dated. She has faux fur and a Kuerig!
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
She only promised to give the bag away if she reached 100k. When she bought it her subscriber count was growing quite fast. Then it plateaued and remained between 75k-78k for a while. Her subscriber count hasn't had a spike since and she admitted she doesn't know when it will again.Itsnotmyfault wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:28 pm The excuses are just that, excuses!! That was very honest of her to admit that her channel is not growing as fast as she desires, but she's thankful for the subscribers she has now. That takes humility. Most YouTubers don't care about their subscribers, just the money and fame. Ashley still seems to have a bit of integrity to admit her channel is not where she wants it, but she's going to relax until she gets there.
If anyone who watches her gets angry or malicious towards her or family over the bag, I think they have deeper issues to deal with. It's a nice bag, but no one should rely on any YouTuber to get something they want or deeply desire.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
If she's so damn thankful and appreciative, why doesn't she do the giveaway now? Why does she have to wait til the beloved 100K to show appreciation? It was a bribe to get people to share the video and hopefully gain more subscribers. Or for people to stumble across her channel and subscribe for the giveaway. Her subscribers didnt deliver and now she's being selfish. I think this has shown her true colors and she's not going to grow after this.
