And total side note, if you're wanting to try out a higher end purse and not pay full prices, check out Poshmark! I have found a lot of Coach and Michael Kors in great shape and personally I think in a lot better condition than from Ebay. Yes, I love purses just as much as Ashley but I've never promised someone a new purse only to yank it away for myself.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I used to really like her because I thought she was a nice Christian woman who was positive and uplifting. She and I had even become sort of friends on Instagram and had conversations thru dm. But this whole purse thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't believe she is keeping it for herself. That is just low and shallow. Why not go ahead and do the giveaway. I haven't unsubscribed yet but I think I'm going to. She's gotten really materialistic and snotty. Her content used to be a little boring but at least it was real. Most stay at home moms don't have exciting lives so I could relate to her doing the same old thing every video. But I can't relate to selfish.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Not usually one to weigh in on things, happier to be 'drama adjacent' but this thing with the LV bag. Wow - selfish move. And not that I was a subscriber for that reason, I upgraded from LV quite a while ago, so why would I want to go back to their cheapest available bag, the speedy? And her attempt to explain how to identify real from fake when she has a fake wallet - there is more to identifying a fake than the continuous leather (for the monogram). Placement of the zipper, colour of the stitching, intricacies of the monogram patterns. What I am gobsmacked by is more her obsession with it - she should call it her precious because that is how attached to it and the 'status' it brings. What she should do is get rid of her fake LV stuff and purchase real and just own her decision instead of making excuses. And that ending of her latest video of how she is so busy with YT to homeschool her daughter???!! Put her back in school if you don't have the time. Probably why she is taking Friday 'off' - Chase will be busy handling all the negative comments from this one until next week.

I think its funny that she thinks she has to mention she's taking a day off. No. One. Cares. If one of my YouTubers doesnt upload or is a day late, I dont even notice. Even people in REAL jobs take personal days. It's okay. The world is not going to end because Ashley didnt upload.kaedlie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 5:01 pm Not usually one to weigh in on things, happier to be 'drama adjacent' but this thing with the LV bag. (And to clarify, I actually think that YouTube CAN be a real job depending on what your niche is. The way Ashley does YT is NOT. A. JOB. She films herself doing what she does anyway and her hubby does the rest of the actual work.)

And also, it's not like she would be actually filming on Friday. She'd already have the video filmed, she would just have to upload it. But apparently answering every single positive comment is work.

I hate when YouTubers say they’re taking a day off. Stop acting like you work so hard. You film yourself for the internet, you’re not doctors haha. Film, don’t film, it’s ok. You don’t need to take PTO. life continues!! Enjoy life and stop being concerned about your fake internet friends lol.

Ok, but I'm confused with the whole comment thing because is Chase doing it, or is she doing the comments? We saw the time-lapse filming of her laying in blankets on the couch for endless time and also another day on her bed with the phone glued to her hands 'answering "yawls" questions', so what is the truth? Does Chase do the YouTube ones so Dame Delicate doesn't have to read questions that call her out on her contradictions? Is she answering all those questions we supposedly ask her repeatedly about her stuff we have to have on Instagram? Clearly it is all done in DMs because I never see questions asking about her matted dog looking bedding, or what aisle in Walmart she got those clothes.KSGirl4Ever wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 5:36 pm And also, it's not like she would be actually filming on Friday. (Walmart clothes and an LV bag is a strange combo, but whatever. Treat yourself for being a youtube mama, right?)
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
She has stated in the past that Chase screens all of the comments on her videos to approve positive comments and delete negative comments, she then responds to the approved posts. Not sure about her IG page though.QueenMaleficent wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 6:54 pmOk, but I'm confused with the whole comment thing because is Chase doing it, or is she doing the comments? Re: Til Vacuum do us part
When she bought it I think she really expected to reach 100k shortly after posting the video. I thought it was a bad idea and not going help her attract subscribers. I posted weeks ago she should just use the bag for herself. In fact I expected her to admit she'd keep it sooner, but since she reads here she couldn't make it too obvious that she took our suggestion.brittknee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 8:48 amI don’t think any of her subscribers are upset they didn’t receive a $2000 bag. I think people are rightfully upset that this woman used a luxury bag giveaway as a ploy to gain subscribers and wound up doing what many of us knew she would do from the get go and that was keep it for herself.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:48 pm I HOPE none of her subscribers are upset they didn't receive a $2000 bag when her channel is about cleaning. That was not a good marketing strategy to gain 100k and now she sees that. It's not selfish for her to keep it. She has to be smarter about her audience though.
If you watch the video closely where she’s taking the bag out of the box for the first time listen very closely. You’ll hear her breathing heavily with her excitement. Then drones on for 15 minutes with stories on justifying her actions. I just don’t buy that the bag was ever for her far fetched giveaway in the first place.
And who uses speaking to God as a way to justify keeping a purse in the first place? When she said she spoke to God in the shower and it led her to this decision that’s when I knew for sure she has a problem.
However, I think she genuinely planned to give the bag away if she had reached 100k when she bought it. She definitely wanted that bag, but she wanted the 100k more. Not reaching 100k and looking at the bag started to get to her.
Which is probably why her subscribers are showing her compassion. It was a bad decision and was never going to work. She had to realize it for herself.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I know it's a gossip site. I don't know her and if I did so what? I'm just giving my opinion like everyone else. As I've stated, I think it was a bad ploy for her to gain subscribers. She admitted it was not working and she was only giving it away if she reached 100k. And she didn't. So it is what is. She stated her intentions quite clearly. She messed up and probably won't do that again.Itsnotmyfault wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 12:27 amDo you know her?? Do you go to her church? This is a gossip site, where people gossip... Your comments are strange, like you know her intentions how could you know them?? The LV was her idea, the channel was her choice, so she needs to own up to a bullshit move like that. I think that bribe was against the rules of youtube anyway and her greed got the best of her, she should have prayed and tried a different approaches growing her channel. Common sense is truly absent for herFi8821 wrote:Giving away an LV bag also sets her up to give away more expensive gifts in the future. Say she did give away the LV bag once she reaches 100k. Then what would she give away at 200k? Versace? Gucci? A Fenty gift card?
She would have to top her last giveaway for each 100k increase in subscriber count. If that's her desire then that's fine, but I don't think that's what they want to do, at least not right now.
To me this is literally not a big deal. It's not something I'd have done myself, but she did. Perhaps my opinion on this doesn't sit right with you, but I literally don't care if she gave it away or kept for herself. I don't give a shit about the bag. When she does something that's actually terrible then I'll change my opinion, but this is not it.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I know of a few posters and myself suggested weeks ago that she should keep the bag for herself. Those who are new here should know she has used some of our suggestions. This shouldn't surprise anyone who posted here in the past, especially those of us who said she should keep it.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Iirc she said this is Savannah's summer break and she'd start 5th (or was it 6th) grade in August. Not sure how she's behind if she hasn't started yet.
I think Savannah should be in public school with kids her age. This is a good time to enroll her before she reaches middle school. She'll be a preteen soon and I imagine will desire more independence from her parents.
Ashley does seem a little codependent with her and should let go of the reigns a bit. It's not stimulating for Savannah to be home most of the day. It doesn't seem like Ashley takes her to arts festivals, museums or a children's science center (unless she doesn't film it). How often does she do projects? Or book reports?
Unfortunately, I don't think Ashley is providing the rigor and structure she needs to thrive academically or socially. I think Savannah would enjoy being at school to meet new friends and have more independence. Hopefully, they think about it and let Savannah experience public education (or private) for a year.

Also, I think Ashley would make a good elementary school teacher (possibly for 2nd or 3rd grade) in the right public school. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education so she must have desired to be a teacher at one point. She can still do YouTube on the side and earn money.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I’m very confused about the homeschool comments. It’s July? She doesn’t usually homeschool in the summer so what is she talking about??
As far as her being a teacher...I don’t see that ever happening. She thinks YouTube is hard work. Being a teacher is a million times harder and way less money for the work she’d have to put in.

If she was truly going to use this for a giveaway then she would’ve kept it in her closet. What’s the use in taking a giveaway item out and using it when you have two more sitting right next to it? That makes no sense. But for someone who’s focused on vanity as much as she seems to be then it makes sense. That’s all I’m saying.Itsnotmyfault wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 12:27 am

She was going to buy it for herself the entire time. That’s my opinion. How many subscribers did she have when she announced this giveaway? 65,000 I believe. She’s been on YouTube for 2 years and was at 65,000 but thought that in a month she would get 35,000 more? I just don’t buy it.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I quoted that wrong sorry but you get my drift. Just don’t believe her and that says a lot considering I actually like her most days.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
She has said before that working is not for her. She even has said that she was working on her Mrs. in college and would never use her degree. She wants to stay home and homeschooling Savannah is an excuse for her to not have to work. I think she grew up extremely spoiled. She said she got acrylic nails since third grade. Who pays for their kid to have their nails done their nails done regularly in third grade??? It wouldn't surprise me if she was a beauty pageant princess or something. Chase changed her for a while but now that she has a taste of money shes going back to her materialistic ways.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:40 pm Also, I think Ashley would make a good elementary school teacher (possibly for 2nd or 3rd grade) in the right public school. I’m glad you said something about her mentioning having had her nails done since 3rd grade because that had me in my head wondering if that was normal.Farmgirl1980 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 7:03 amShe has said before that working is not for her. I still don’t think she and Chase have ever not had a spending problem with money. I don’t believe their debt to debt free story either. Her channel even with her sponsorships doesn’t bring in enough money according to socialblade for the daily shopping trips and luxury bag purchases on a whim. That’s not to mention the eyelashes and nails and pedicures and Invisalign and constant new clothes and shoes. Random target runs for stuff she already has and nightly dinners at her local Olive Garden. They mentioned chase makes just okay money so that just okay money on top of her mediocre YouTube income doesn’t scream debt free to me. It screams we are going to make videos on being debt free because it’ll get the clicks and we hope to make enough off that video to buy another LV because the other three have too much dust on the patina’ed handles.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
New to the forum and just had to chime in...
I've been watching Ashley for about 6 months and truly enjoyed it at the beginning. Like many have said, she seemed relatable and I did enjoy the content she was putting out. THEN the constant rearranging and same cleaning videos of a spotless house! I'm not talking about the switching rooms, but moving the dining table and things on her walls around every other day was getting annoying. The LV bag video was so cringe worthy.....I didn't like the fact she was blaming YT for her channel not growing because they didn't now how to suggest her channel because she does cleaning and day in the life videos. She said herself that's a "huge no-no" so why didn't she just stick to day in the life and include cleaning in it every now and then?? I could go on and on but i'll stop for now!
