I've been watching Ashley for about 6 months and truly enjoyed it at the beginning. Like many have said, she seemed relatable and I did enjoy the content she was putting out. THEN the constant rearranging and same cleaning videos of a spotless house! I'm not talking about the switching rooms, but moving the dining table and things on her walls around every other day was getting annoying. The LV bag video was so cringe worthy.....I didn't like the fact she was blaming YT for her channel not growing because they didn't now how to suggest her channel because she does cleaning and day in the life videos. She said herself that's a "huge no-no" so why didn't she just stick to day in the life and include cleaning in it every now and then?? I could go on and on but i'll stop for now!

I also don’t find her to be the worst person on YouTube but I can definitely see the changes that a little growth has done to her. Most of her vlogs like I said I either smile a little or I’m skipping through her talking for 6 minutes about the most mundane things. I don’t need to know 15 times that we should watch the video you did the day before and I certainly don’t need a tutorial on how to roll a burrito. I do find that she’s genuinely happy in a way but the purse thing has really got me thinking.mckinneymom27 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:43 amCompletely agree with you!brittknee wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:02 amThe constant moving a piece of furniture four inches to the right or left is somehow filling a void in her and I’m surprised she puts it online for the entire world to see. She has definitely changed from when I first started watching her. The purse thing has really gotten to me as well. I like how yesterday it was "our" bag and now on her insta story it's "Let's Play Name MY bag". She's trying to justify using it instead of giving it away. Her giving it away now instead of waiting till hitting 100,000, would have shown she cares about her current subscribers, instead makes her look greedy and selfish.brittknee wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:38 amI also don’t find her to be the worst person on YouTube but I can definitely see the changes that a little growth has done to her. Re: Til Vacuum do us part
So I'm new to this forum, but have been reading this thread for quite some time.
I used to LOVE Ashley's videos. She was my favorite YouTuber for a while and even inspired me to start my own channel, but her videos have honestly gotten so boring. She does the same thing in every single video. Get ready, picks up her clean house, goes to Ross, gets her nails or eyelashes done, eats a Red Baron pizza and sits on her patio watching Savvy swim/jump on the trampoline. Take your kid to the park, the zoo, a museum, go somewhere and do something engaging and interesting! I get absolutely no cleaning motivation from her cleaning videos anymore because her house is so spotless that every video is the same. At least let it go for a couple days to build up some mess, or don't make cleaning videos. I know a lot of people don't like Love Meg here, but she at least has mess to clean up in her house still!
I noticed in one of her last cleaning videos she had a mess on the counter. It was a few water bottles and a can of Pepsi. I'm almost 100% certain it was staged (which is fine, do it if you need to!) because 2 of the water bottles were cold and un-opened.
I personally like her financial videos because I'm in debt and working my way to get out of it so I like the advice they give, but they sure do a lot of unnecessary spending lately, especially for someone that preaches about finding the best deals and getting used items.
I still watch her videos, but I really hope she starts switching things up somehow, because it's getting very monotonous.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Girl. No. She has flat out said that the reason she truly went to college was for her MRS degree and she never wanted to work. She cant even balance one "student" and YouTube and would have absolutely no idea how to move YouTube to a "side job." She claims to work more than a full time job just doing YouTube. Just because that was her degree doesnt mean she has a passion for it or that she would be good. It takes a very special person to be a teacher to a full class. I'm not saying that Ashley isn't an overall good person with good intentions but that alone plus a degree doesnt qualify someone to have such an important job as shaping young mind. And no, I'm not a teacher but I have friends who are and see how hard they work every day for their kids. My life has also been personally shaped by some amazing teachers that I will never forget.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:40 pm Also, I think Ashley would make a good elementary school teacher (possibly for 2nd or 3rd grade) in the right public school. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education so she must have desired to be a teacher at one point. She can still do YouTube on the side and earn money.

She even has said that she was working on her Mrs. in college and would never use her degree. She wants to stay home and homeschooling Savannah is an excuse for her to not have to work. I think she grew up extremely spoiled. She said she got acrylic nails since third grade. Who pays for their kid to have their nails done their nails done regularly in third grade??? It wouldn't surprise me if she was a beauty pageant princess or something. Chase changed her for a while but now that she has a taste of money shes going back to her materialistic ways.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:40 pm Also, I think Ashley would make a good elementary school teacher (possibly for 2nd or 3rd grade) in the right public school. I still don’t think she and Chase have ever not had a spending problem with money. I don’t believe their debt to debt free story either. Her channel even with her sponsorships doesn’t bring in enough money according to socialblade for the daily shopping trips and luxury bag purchases on a whim. That’s not to mention the eyelashes and nails and pedicures and Invisalign and constant new clothes and shoes. Random target runs for stuff she already has and nightly dinners at her local Olive Garden. They mentioned chase makes just okay money so that just okay money on top of her mediocre YouTube income doesn’t scream debt free to me. It screams we are going to make videos on being debt free because it’ll get the clicks and we hope to make enough off that video to buy another LV because the other three have too much dust on the patina’ed handles.
I don’t believe their debt story either tbh!! I mean there are ways that they are frugal. They don’t pay for cable, they apparently buy used cars and their home is a modest size. I have no idea what the market is like in Oklahoma but they act like they don’t pay very much for home/utilities. I laugh when they mention student loans they paid off. I doubt they were anywhere close to what the average student deals with these days. At this point, even if they are debt free, they are living right AT their means. She acts like she is pulling in millions on YouTube. Ashley if you read here, quit the finance videos. You will lose subscribers if you continue to convince people they should follow your financial advice. At least channels like lovemeg make it clear they make a ton of money (still dislike her) lol.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I don’t know what it is I just don’t believe their story and that’s okay. That doesn’t make them horrible people in my eyes it just makes them harder to watch in the long run or believe the majority of what they say in videos. I agree they need to stop the financial videos because you can answer questions correctly all day but I’m not going to trust you when I see you posting daily videos of going to Ross to blow more money just to get out of the house. Yard sales are all fun and games and thrifty until you’ve shown yourself blowing money on them every weekend.Lifeisfun wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 11:12 am I don’t believe their debt story either tbh!! Me on the other hand I’ve never seen a mess in that woman’s house staged or not lol! And yes her videos are quite boring but somehow I’m still watching.ChelleBelle wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:52 am So I'm new to this forum, but have been reading this thread for quite some time.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I understand. She shot herself in the foot with the whole idea. It was a bad marketing decision and a lofty goal.
Re: Til Vacuum do us part
Yes it's true that she said she never wanted a traditional job. It surprised me how she openly admitted she always planned to be a stay at home mom. No judgment if that was right for her.KSGirl4Ever wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 11:08 amGirl. However, I think she is nice and seems patient enough to teach very young kids. I had great teachers, too and I think Ashley (if she really worked hard) would be a good teacher. She just needs to improve her work ethic, but she has the personality for it (in my opinion).
She seems to have some social anxiety which seems to shape her choices. If she can work on that I think she'd step outside of her comfort zone and see what else she can do as a profession.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
I personally think she is fucking bored out of her goddamn mind her daughter is to the age where she’s pretty self-sufficient I mean seriously you don’t need to bathe her put on her clothes and everything else there is only so much you can clean in a day and you’re bored she seems so fucking bored she needs to go and get a goddamn job get out of the house be around people have social interaction put your child in school before she has your same social anxiety because what you’re doing right now on YouTube is not working and you’re not going to get to 100,000 subscribers because you’re fucking doing the same goddamn thing in every video. Excuse my language but am I the only person that sees that she is so bored out of her mind that she needs to literally get a job or some sort a hobby or something.

Chase making "just okay" money is subjective. I don't think his income is "just okay" if he earns the median salary for a financial analyst. It's relative, but they are not poor and most likely have not been financially strapped in the past 7-10 years.
She probably earns a lot more than we realize with her sponsorships and Google adsense revenue. Her CPM could range from $3-$4 per view. Her main audience may consists ( I assume) of adult women (maybe some men) in the US region. If I had to guess how much she earns on a regular video, I'd say she earns around $300-$750 on a good day. Her most popular videos have probably earned at least $2500-$3000.
If she earns and saves most of her income, but they rely on Chase's income for other purchases, I can see how she has money for her nails, lashes and hair. They may need to make an updated finance video about how they incorporate her YouTube income into their budget.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
The "worst" thing I think she's done as a YouTuber is not try harder to get where she wants to be. I do think she enjoys the easiness of earning a lot for doing relatively light work. She said the hardest part of YouTube is filming and editing, but I think it's really the toll it takes on her emotionally.
I know she's hurt by online comments. I like her, but she has to be tougher. And work harder. I know she can reach 100k, but she has to be more creative. Use more clickbait titles and color. Do small monthly giveaways on YouTube and Instagram. And create new designs for her Til Vaccuum Do Us Part apparel.
If she wants it she has to work for it.

Meh. She's too old, too homely and too average to be super successful at Youtube. She will never be a Tara or Aaryn. Hell, she'll never even be a Meg. Her life is just too boring for anybody to really give a darn. Her style is awful because she shops locally at Ross, TJmaxx and other low end stores. I mean who the heck shops at Ross? The fact that she's a hillbilly has little appeal to me and others.
She is definitely not raking in the money. Her home and lifestyle reek of middle class. She is like that annoying Jessi Christine woman. She has nothing to offer and does nothing but complain.

I was just quoting their words in one of their videos. They used the term just okay and went on to say that she makes almost the same as he does and according to social blade that’s not much.Fi8821 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 3:26 pm Chase making "just okay" money is subjective. I dont think she's unattractive but she would be a lot better off without the old tattooed eyeliner and fake eyelashes. Some makeup that actually works for her wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Til Vacuum do us part
If she's in her early 30's than she looks rough. I'm guessing she's late 30's at best! Her husband is for sure in his late 40's. They both look old and are not the same age as the other mommy bloggers and husbands.
You can't really go by social blade as that doesn't factor in ad revenue and sponsorships. Meg makes a million or more and SB only has her making only 50,000 a year. You can not go by SB. I don't think that this vacuum woman makes that much off of youtube. Weren't they penny pinching about lawn chairs and shopping at Walmart? lol

Their wedding announcement on Google (literally so easy to find) says they graduated HS 2003 and 2004 so yes, that would make them early 30s.

Wow! She looks awful then! Her husband looks even worse! I'm shocked if they're early thirties. She needs to get some botox or a facelift or something! Maybe lighten her hair and change her make up too! She definitely needs a wardrobe makeover. She dresses like a middle aged woman. I think she may have been fat at one time too. She has a saggy face and double chin. Shocking!
