HOLY CRAP. Did she block me on instagram?! I recently started using Insta again so I recently followed her. I can go to Chase's profile and click on her tagged name, but for me it says "User Not Found" when it pulls up her profile.
The only comment I have ever made on one of her posts was in reply to someone else, saying it woulda been cool if she had done an 80k giveaway instead.

I am shocked. I'm honestly a fan of hers and not sure I want to be subscribed to someone that petty?

Edit, just went to her Instagram without being logged in and it was there. I was definitely blocked for ONE comment that wasn't even negative.

I don't feel bad at all. I looked up to her as inspiration for my personal channel and if she's that sensitive and petty about a comment that wasn't even negative, I don't want to look up to someone like that.

OK - I hope I did this right (with the quotes)....but yes this is honestly the person she is. I have a few friends that have decided to start a channel a while back and they did ALOT of the research on how to start a channel on their own (just like she did - or so she says) and one of them had a question regarding how to get more views on their videos....and apparently Ashley gave her some very generic advice like "do a really nice thumbnail" and "be creative with the title" and when she (my friend) said yes I did all of that and I also tagged well - I just can't seem to get many views and Ashley's reply was "Well then I don't know what to tell you - I do all those things and my channel took off"......then all of a sudden a few days later Ashley came out with a video on "Ways to make money on YT" and one of the things she suggested was that if people wanted advice from her on their YT channel - you could HIRE HER to help you for ONE HOUR!!! BITCH WHAT???? My friend was so confused and hurt, because in one of Ashley's very first videos - she said "Oh everybody on YT is soooo nice and willing to help - and that yes you should do most of the research yourself but that if you got stuck she would "Totally be willing to help" - I call BULLSHIT

If she's in her early 30's than she looks rough. I'm guessing she's late 30's at best! Her husband is for sure in his late 40's. They both look old and are not the same age as the other mommy bloggers and husbands.
You can't really go by social blade as that doesn't factor in ad revenue and sponsorships. Meg makes a million or more and SB only has her making only 50,000 a year. You can not go by SB. I don't think that this vacuum woman makes that much off of youtube. Weren't they penny pinching about lawn chairs and shopping at Walmart? lol

She does. She has talked about it in numerous videos. She makes a million or more a month. She supports her parents in full too. In fact she has also said she makes a Doctors salary.
She has talked to interior designers but they have told her that all her ideas are good so she decided not to get one. She has a thread on here. Her income is talked about quite a bit.

I agree with this. If the advice wanted goes beyond the basics of 'Do a eye catching thumbnail" or 'Use creative tags" then I can see someone charging for those special pieces of info (and even their time) that these youtubers have learned through trial and error. Why pave the way for those starting out when the majority have had to sweat it out or hire others themselves? I would do the same, but I would be up front and explain that I charge for business strategies or explain that I hired someone and am bound by a confidential agreement not to share the info.

I asked because if they are cleaning channels then it's free promotion. Smaller cleaning channels don't always receive much attention. If she (or he) doesn't want us to know what their channel is then they shouldn't be on YouTube. No promotion means no publicity, good or bad.

I may have to go back and re-watch that video, but what I remember is that Ashley stated a subscriber had contacted her and asked if it would okay if she called her to get more info and said the SHE would pay Ashley for her time. I think why she mentioned consulting or whatever she called it was a potential way to make money if that is something you did or were comfortable with doing. I don't recall Ashley ever saying anything about hiring her for an hour, but I could be wrong..... and if she did, I honestly don't see a problem with her charging for her time if it goes beyond the suggestion she has given in her videos.

And this is why they are so touchy with "fake" vs "real" on YT. When you see them flashing their FAKE smile (fake face in general) at you, it's to lure you in. Once you get a touch of REALness behind the scenes, you get bit. I usually go back to their very early videos. THAT is when they are genuine relatable people. Once they get a taste of some fame, THAT is when they become snakes. Their "community" is all about kissing their butts. If you don't, you are evil. If you post something opposite of them, you are evil. I would not start a YT channel if it was the last thing to do. I surely could not handle all the foolishness that goes on. But, hey, it's all about $$$ to them! Christian or not, gimme your money and attention! That is the baseline for most YTers.

Gosh she wouldn’t know a messy house if it slapped her in the face. I don’t know who this channel is relatable for anymore but it’s not me! Maybe empty nesters. Lol. Continuing to read the comments, people aren’t really buying it. She is getting quite defensive today though. I can’t imagine the type of person she was when Savannah was a toddler making real messes. If she was even allowed to do that. She is going to the grandma someday that doesn’t allow the kids to sit on the furniture

I didnt watch the video because I just dont like cleaning videos that much. But yeah....I stopped picking up my kids toys before they turned a year old. I really dont expect much from younger kids but you will pick up your own messes. You can relax in the bath afterward. And yes, a lot of people calling her out in the comments about Savannah not helping and I also saw a few people asking if it was staged LOL. I remember her claiming in a Q&A that the baby/toddler messes didnt really bother her but I dont buy that at all.
