Re: DailyNewSameOldScriptedBumps - Part
I don’t watch them at all anymore but from what I’ve seen in other videos and the conversation here: I think Bryan genuinely wants another child and Missy absolutely does not. That kind of thing can be really hard on a marriage so I would bet they gloss over it and don’t talk about it much (especially between the two of them.) So they mention it every once in a while, maybe because Bryan is trying to convince Missy, which is also isn’t super fair to her.
They should act like adults in a marriage and have a frank and honest discussion with each other about what they want moving forward. If it’s to have another child, go for it. If it’s that they are done, stop alluding to it. As much as it’s annoying it us and leading their fans on/getting them excited, if they’re not both on the same page it could be seen as manipulation.

She’s honestly probably petrified she would have another boy, therefore won’t have another one. They shouldn’t reproduce anymore anyway. It’s a good thing.angelfire89 wrote:I don’t watch them at all anymore but from what I’ve seen in other videos and the conversation here: I think Bryan genuinely wants another child and Missy absolutely does not. I was watching Cassie’s vlog and Cassie asked Ollie what he wanted for his birthday finn said “I want you to get him a yeyaw” which apparently means lizard. Auntie suggested a Komodo dragon and Ollie said “those don’t make good pets they have saliva” what a smart and sweet kid he could do so well but is held back by his parents.

I think they've already made a decision, they just bring it up every so often to drum up engagement.angelfire89 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 11:21 pm I don’t watch them at all anymore but from what I’ve seen in other videos and the conversation here: I think Bryan genuinely wants another child and Missy absolutely does not. He knew all about dinosaurs when he went through the dino stage that so many kids go through. He seems plenty bright enough.MommaLindsey2 wrote:I was watching Cassie’s vlog and Cassie asked Ollie what he wanted for his birthday finn said “I want you to get him a yeyaw” which apparently means lizard. And Bryan with the "Finn is talking so much _today_" BS. Read here much, Bryan? Why today? And I call BS on Finn saying much that's understandable. Didn't Bryan just say Finn has his own language that only Ollie can understand? But in the last 5 days, he has become loquacious in English? Sure, Jan.

And they shouldn't be asking 12 year old fans if they should have another baby. Of course they're going to say "Yes!"

Re: DailyNewSameOldScriptedBumps - Part
What's telling here is that Bryan feels he has to draw attention to Finn's talking "so much" when the child is 3.5 years old. That would be a more appropriate comment if he were 16-18 months. I am not at all trying to criticize Finn- he's a sweet kid- but just pointing out that the parents clearly are oblivious to what are appropriate speech milestones. Very unfortunate.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:20 pmHe knew all about dinosaurs when he went through the dino stage that so many kids go through. I just watched the vlog. Wow, there was no one at his performance. And he didn’t share the live vocals which means he’s still self conscious about them. If you don’t share your live vocals, how the hell can you call yourself an artist?

Re: DailyNewSameOldScriptedBumps - Part
He really is a sweet and cute kid. Considering the lifestyle he's subjected to he's an amazing kid. I thought when he was younger he was going to be a holy terror, but I don't think that about him anymore. I just don't think it's in his nature to be that way. I wish he had parents that would give him his wings and let him soar. He truly has the potential to excel if he had parents who were focused on his attributes instead of on their own needs and wants. Ollie is far from a stupid kid he's actually quite intelligent and has proven that in what he knows about Dinosaurs and Lizards. I actually think he's a lot like his Uncle Jimmy and is naturally shy. Instead of focusing on trying to make Ollie a Disney star they should be focused on nurturing the talents and skills that Ollie already has and let him be who he is instead of trying to make him who they want him to be.MommaLindsey2 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:44 pm I was watching Cassie’s vlog and Cassie asked Ollie what he wanted for his birthday finn said “I want you to get him a yeyaw” which apparently means lizard. I used to think he was going to be a terror too. But he's really proven me wrong. He is actually sweet to Finn these days. He seems like a good kid, and I hate the way he has to live this scripted life so that his parents can continue their lifestyle.

He’s very sweet to Finn. I thought he eventually was going to be. They are only a little over two years apart and Ollie was really just a baby himself when Finn was born.lmmomSD wrote:I used to think he was going to be a terror too. But he's really proven me wrong. Re: DailyNewSameOldScriptedBumps - Part
I agree. On the last vlog they posted (in Vidcon, the one with the awful concert), Ollie is excitedly talking about his lizards and he seems like such a sweet and smart boy. Finn is adorable too. Oh, if only they had better parents...MommaLindsey2 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:44 pm I was watching Cassie’s vlog and Cassie asked Ollie what he wanted for his birthday finn said “I want you to get him a yeyaw” which apparently means lizard. I saw that too. Oliver has always been sweeter with Cassie, and speaks clearer. He knows more about reptiles than many adults.MommaLindsey2 wrote:I was watching Cassie’s vlog and Cassie asked Ollie what he wanted for his birthday finn said “I want you to get him a yeyaw” which apparently means lizard. Re: DailyNewSameOldScriptedBumps - Part
He really does speak better with Cassie. I honestly think it's because she engages with him and he is saying what he wants to say, instead of trying to remember what he's _supposed_ to say. She asks him open-ended questions unlike Bryan and Missy who mostly ask "Are you so excited?"Germany2263 wrote:I saw that too. Oliver has always been sweeter with Cassie, and speaks clearer.
