I’m a little confused why Joel needed to exchange cars. Joel being overly busy seems to be a vlog theme lately, but he was able to rest with Cody since the other kids were gone for what appears to be the day.

I think he needed to load the truck with the camping equipment because his wife is helpless and can't function on her own.

Bonnie is absolutely useless.

And I’m glad we all got to see Bri’s feet putting the groceries away... someone’s working in that house, and it’s definitely not Bonnie or Joel.

I didn't understand the vehicle part either. The way Joel was carrying on-uuurrggg! Welcome to life Joel! You had plenty of time to lay in bed and watch movies. Getting teeth pulled is not surgery! What a snoozer! :zz:

I can’t believe it 9:29 in the vlog I believe you’re right it’s Bri putting groceries away. After rest time with Cody, no kids for the day, he had no energy to detail Bonnie’s car .

They have plenty of money to treat themselves to stuff but Cody can't wear new shoes without Bonnie's permission? She's a total control freak and Joel just feeds into it. I bet she has absolutely no respect for him.

Wow, so Bonnie went up to the Camp with the Girls but Joel had to go tear down the camp and load it up the truck and bring it all home so Bonnie could go out to the lake for the day, while Joel took Cody to the Dentist and Bri/or Bri replacement took care of the other kids and put the groceries away. Probably made the kids dinner as well.

Joel called this a big day, LOL and Bonnie said she was in tears because she left the camp to Joel to tear down. Tears of what, laughter?

The comment by Joel “How much have you been eating?” and he makes out like she sneaks snacks behind his back! She doesn’t respond and pretends it’s sunscreen!

It wasn’t that long ago, Joel stapled Boston’s shoes where the Velcro had wore away. I haven’t considered kids’ shoes a luxury, rather they’re a necessity. Why not replace the smelly shoes if washing them doesn’t get rid of the smell.

Bonnie needs a kick in the you know what. I would be embarrassed to have my kids walk around like rag-a-muffins, clothes to small, torn out knees, stapled shoes or no shoes, no spring jackets, straggly hair, dirty faces, while she walks around as if she's one of the Kardashian's, too long nails, cake face and blonde extensions. I would love to hear what other moms in town say about her! There was no reason she could not help take down and pack up camp. I have done it plenty of times. She's just a prima donna that can't go out of her way for anyone. Wasn't she crying last year because she was told by the church that she had to go to the girls camp? I think she was really upset, and Joely had to promise her a date so she would feel better. Same thing this year! She's a spoiled, entitled child!

Joel needs to get his head out of his ass and learn how to function outside of archaic gender roles. He shouldn’t need Bri’s help for anything. It’s not like he had a ton of work for the channel and needed an assistant. He’s an entitled idiot that can’t even shop, cook and clean for a couple days because he’s a man and apparently shouldn’t have to.

So basically Joel drove up to the campsite (alone), had the kids unload the trailer, took Cody to the dentist, watched tv in bed while Bri or replacement went food shopping with 3 kids and put away the groceries and probably made them dinner and cleaned the house for Bonnie's return. Tell me again why Joel was so exhausted? Shouldn't Bri or replacement be the tired one?

She was totally thrown off track with that comment. Umm, Bonnie, sunscreen isn't the same color as ketchup.

I remember the vlog with Boston's shoe breaking. Hopefully it was a temp fix, and he got new shoes shortly after, not having to wait until school starts to get another pair. This was when we would typically get our kids new sneakers, when it was a new school year, then again part way through or as needed since at their young age, their feet can grow a lot. They would also have casual shoes and usually slips on shoes to wear too. I'm thinking that is the hold out for Cody to be able to wear his new sneakers; however, based on E&J's vlog today, school may not start for about another 2 months, and if this is what Bonnie is holding out for, Cody will likely outgrow them by the time school starts.

School starts in a month. I had the same thought about the shoes, but I would still get the kid some. If he grows too fast then keep the shoes for Linc.

Not for nothing, but isn't it typical for kids to have play shoes, going out shoes and a pair or two of sandals? Why do the Griffiths think having one pair of shoes until you grow out of them normal. They don't have to be expensive, kids grow out of shoes pretty quick. With the money they spend on themselves for one pair, they could cut back a few dollars and buy the kids a pair from Target or Walmart.

The shoe nonsense is probably just another byproduct of growing up Griffiths. I mean, Bonnie had to share a winter coat with someone years younger than herself—she probably was also lacking in the shoe dept.

My husband grew up in poverty and I notice he’s really weird and overbearing when it comes to our kids’ shoes too.

I wish the downfall of these family vlogging channels would accelerate a little. I feel so badly for the kids.
