Looks like CJ probably told her that getting implants would give her cancer. Life is way too short to worry about everything in the world that will cause illness. Ok, yes. Eat well, exercise, don't smoke or do drugs. Easy enough. She lives in a constant state of fear from everything. What a sad life.

Also, her stories today. Ugh. "ImporTAnT." I want to punch her every time she says it. It's like she doesnt know any other words. When everything is imporTanT, then nothing is imporTanT.

I think most people in successful marriages do exactly what you said. Why throw a fit over a coffee mug or a plate? There are many times my husband leaves a mess behind that I end up cleaning. But the opposite is true, too. Sometimes hes stuck cleaning up my messes. I dont think either one of us complains about it. I have a friend who lost her spouse a few years ago. She said the lack of mess reminds her that hes no longer with her. Its heartbreaking. So instead if seeing the mess as an annoyance, why not see it as a blessing that hes with you? And who freaking cares? It's one more dish. See it as an opportunity to serve your spouse, even if it goes unnoticed. (This goes for you kids or any other relationship.)

It's sad that her relationships don't take priority in her life. Because if they did, she wouldn't be using them as examples of "why shes right."

Fuck, the mashed potatoes still pisses me off when I think about it. I truly hope her mom stands up for herself and tells Haleigh to fuck off.

Her stories today are so sad. I’ve come to the conclusion that about a year ago she realized her husband is a D I C K ! So she raised her expectations of him and started demanding more respect, well fast forward a few months and he’s same old dick hole CJ, and instead of leaving him she’s learned to just be happy with lower expectations and find joy within herself because that sad excuse for a husband is not fulfilling her needs. It’s adorable she thinks that he can still have high standards for her such as staying skinny, keeping the house tidy making him food and raising his kids but she thinks she shouldn’t expect anything from him?!? I wish i could have her be a fly on the wall in a healthy marriage so she can see what she’s missing out on, she deserved so much better. But then again she doesn’t because she also on the internet defending that dick hole Luke P. From the bachelor, if she can justify his misogynistic behaviors then she totally deserves CJ.

THE MASHED POTATOES!!! I'm SO annoyed! I just watched her IG video. I hate her! OMG I hate her! She hears something and then regurgitates it into unrecognizable form! So you're doing shit in your marriage that isn't authentic to you, simply because it makes you "appear" to be a good spouse? Fuck that! I tell my Husband "You do you" all the time! She said “he cleans his plate and goes sit down, and I always stay with Ireland and help her finish her food”. Her husband really does nothing around the house! I really, really don’t get it. He leaves the table because he's done and seriously can't help. She sets him up to fail. Not defending him, he's a 1st class douche bag for sure. It's just toxic loose, loose all the way around.

Anyone else watch A Handmaid's Tale? The Waterfords remind me of Haleigh and CJ. Basically whatever they think should be religious law. Also, anti medicine, anti choice, pro forced religion, pro misogynist, anti government (unless run by a religious MAN)...

CJ is Fred Waterford - doesnt give a shit about anyone and more concerned about his "career" without caring at what it costs his family.

And Haleigh is Serena - wishy washy, married a psycho, is a psycho, and religious nut case.

It's like they wrote this series with Haleigh and CJ in mind. Haleigh, you should probably talk to Hulu and make sure you're getting the royalties you deserve. I mean, I'd be pissed if someone used my life story without consulting me first...

Who knows...she mentioned couple of times how she was jealous of other people’s husbands and what they do, how much they help, how they take care of their children and etc. But I also don’t doubt that it’s hard to please her. Your spoon example is probably spot on.

I agree with your observations on how complicated their marriage seems to be. She's constantly trying to dissect every finite action and emotion. How maddening! But then he sits on his tablet and she sits on her phone & when the evening is over, they call each other out for not making an effort to "connect"? WTF is that? If you dont like your predictable outcomes, f-ing do something to change them! I find them both extremely lazy and selfish. Both just hanging out, waiting for the other to "fix" things.
