My 9-year-old nephew still rides in a booster seat and rode in a high-back booster until he was 7. Why were Boston and Lincoln riding without car seats or booster seats? I am shocked by how careless they are.

Often times, they don't even have seat belts on. Careless for sure.

I doubt this. Joel buys things without her all the time (compressor, tools, the property, new truck, etc). I don’t think she’s controlling the money any more than he is. He’s the one that originally said they weren’t buying the kids new shoes.

To me, the one who has benefited the most from YouTube is Joel. He was able to quit his job that required him to work a forty plus hour work week. Bonnie, without YouTube, still would have been at home with the kids and I think she might be in a better place. When I see Joel's click baits and editing, I found me saying to myself, he'll do anything to remain home and he has enjoyed purchasing expensive items that would have been impossible with his former job. At times, he has not shown his family in the best light. Views are up in their Mermaid Cave vlog today and it makes me question if these are bot views, so I suspect their daily views will be higher.

I think Bonnie is pretty controlling with money. They once alluded to the fact that Joel was irresponsible with money early in the marriage. Didn’t Joel take advantage of the time period when Bonnie was all doped up on opiates to buy that truck?

They are both really immature. They’re mired in that stereotypical controlling wife/passive-aggressive husband dynamic.

It makes me sad that neither of the sets of grandparents have bought the grandkids some shoes since the parents won’t.

I agree. Seeing how Joel has managed YT, really makes me question his actual work ethic. We used to think he was hard working and took it seriously, but he really doesn’t seem to have been taking YT seriously. He just edits a sloppy video and then phones it in before going out to mess around with Bonnie or Jared.

He was supposed to be spending more time with the kids, which he doesn’t seem to at all. He was also going to pursue his own business, which it seems he has no intention of doing.

I think Joel is more in control of things than people like to think. We can demonize/criticize/dislike Bonnie without having to victimize Joel.

I would not want my husband to buy a property or put an offer in for so much money without first talking to me.

The longer I watch them the less respect I have for Joel. He has definitely changed more than Bonnie. He let the money and perceived "fame" go to his head. I feel like Bonnie has always been this way, but didn't have the means that she has now to act on it.

Yes, she mentioned in the last few vlogs that it was on Monday. (I'm guessing last week?) Today she said goodbye to Cody and Olivia as they went off with 8Passengers. She said she wouldn't see them til after her surgery and Olivia was crying and Cody was like, "You're getting surgery???" Poor kids

I feel the most for the kids during this time. I can just imagine the toll it must take on them, the constant worrying, etc. Coming from someone who has a sick mother and is "out of commission" for actual issues, it's heartbreaking.

I wonder if Bonnie has learnt anything from her last recovery, or will she make same mistakes again. How much of the recovery are they going to show and are they going to be honest about the situation? Any bets?

Thoughts on today's explanation into Bonnie's explanation/lack of explanation of her surgery? It's nice that they are being up front about it now but I'm guessing she is getting more done than originally planned or I feel like she would have explained it more. I find it odd that Joel explains that Bonnie has a close relationship with her surgeons, when what they have is a professional relationship, Bonnie at least corrected him. I hope she gets all that she needs to get out of the surgery and hopefully she can do the inner work that she needs to do and follows the directions of her medical team so she recovers better, her children need her to.

I'm glad to see that she didn't leave Bri with all 4 kid for the entire time.
