The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
She looks so old. How old is she. I’m guessing she’s in her early 40’s.

Kind of hard to believe she’s that young... yet looks so old.

She looks so much different now compared to pre- Cohen. Yeah she might've had huge eyebags before but at least it looked natural than having sunken wrinkly eyes. I definitely think the eyebag lipo was a huge mistake, I wonder of the regrets it.

Those rompers she has the kids in look like some sort of Von Trapp family play clothes costumes.
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I’m older But I’m glad I’ve aged gracefully. I don’t wear super short overalls with rips and tears that are too small for my post partum body. I don’t try to contour my face into perfection. I havent been botched. I haven’t “given up” lol, but just accepting “Hey I’m nearly 40 and that’s ok” has actually made me look a lot younger (IMO).

I'm not familiar with the eye bag surgery- what about Elle's face points to it exactly? I have noticed her eyes looking a little sunken and that whole area of her face looking completely different than in her wedding photos/early vlogging days but can't put my finger on it.

She basically dropped off of social media for a while except for pre-recorded YT videos and snippets of her stories where she was always wearing sunglasses inside. Someone posted some screenshots of bruising around her eyes which was consistent with eye liposuction, which supposedly reduces eye bags by removing fat cells from around the eyes. It isn’t really “liposuction” but they reposition the fat around your eyes.
Once she reappeared (without bruising or sunglasses) her eyes looked drastically different, basically the shock between her wedding photos and recent photos around the eye area. She has a totally different face shape/look now because of fat repositioning.
The downside to the surgery is that while it can lessen puffy eyes, it can also make your eyes look sunken in and dark circles as you age or lose weight. That’s one of the reasons her eyes specifically look SO different when she’s heavier/thinner.

Around that time she also mentioned - on a video or somewhere- that she had an ‘eye procedure’ done to explain the sunglasses/bruising. At the time I had assumed it was to address the wandering eye until she stopped wearing the sunglasses and I could see that wasn’t it.

From her recent posts you can tell that:
1) she’s begging for a pacifier deal with some company $$
2) she’s realized it’s going to be harder this time around to lose the baby weight
3) she still had to plug in there that “maybe I’ll post a 1-2 times a year weight update” just to make sure everyone knows she’s still nutso about her body image.
4) I don’t think the Medela $$ came in or the West Coast Kids deal because she hasn’t posted the stupid chair review or the Medela vlog she said she would post. Back in May when Elle was trying to get her shit together she had posted a MONTH TO DO list and she had wrote down that she would post a review on the chair. If it was a paid advertisement she would have had to film it and have it approved by the company paying her. So this makes me think she was just going to do it on her own, she keeps pushing West Coast Kids but none of it every says #ad #sponsored etc I think all she’s gotten is some discounts and a free diaper bag for a giveaway contest that was 2 weeks late.
Also, Who the heck compares their 2 month old baby to other babies on some Facebook group... OVER NOT SMILING. She better sign Blankette up for therapy sessions now, she’s going to need it.

I decided to watch today's video "Exciting Channel Update". I wanted to find out what the new definition of "exciting" is.
Elle just does not have any original ideas of her own...about ANY aspect of her channel. Why should her audience have to tell her what thumbnails, music, post times, banners, content etc.? THAT IS YOUR JOB ELLE!!! She is not a content creator...she is a poser. She is cheap. Instead of hiring a consultant or other paid professional to help make these decisions, she is relying on the feedback from her audience filling out surveys/questionnaires. What a user. If she had listened to the honest criticisms in her past comment section she would not be in her current situation. I find this pathetic and so disingenuous. She is gonna go from compulsive high end shopper to thrifter? Gimme a break. Whose channel is she gonna mimic this time? This is exactly why people like me do not support or trust her anymore. Too many contradictions. Instead of sticking to her own lane, she swerves all over the friggin road. She comes off so judgemental i.e., re: those who buy fast fashion that is unethical, but then takes a sponsorship from Joe Fresh. Does she not see that she insults her audience constantly?
Bonus snark:
4:41 She shows a pie graph showing a 61/39 percent split of those who prefer vlogs to lifestyle content(non-vlogs). So, about 60/40.
Elle: 'You guys said you want 70% vlogs and 30% non-vlogs'...ugh, nope. Try again, Elle. And again. And again. And again....

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
She’s only into thrifting because TheBirdsPapaya (Elle’s current obsession with copying) does a ton of thrifting (she’s a former single mom.. she’s a long time thrifter) and TBP even got sponsored by Savers, I believe, recently.
Spot on with the definition of “exciting” Skinnie. This chick is CRAZY.
Also...
Elle on Tue: I’m going to stop posting about my weight/body so much.
Elle on Thur: Here’s full body shots of me in my undies for future “before” pics!!!

She wants to “connect” more and share more of herself.
Two videos during the week of vlogs, one sit down video on the weekend.
That’s it lol

HAHAHAHAHA Elle thinks SHE can put out a self improvement video?!?! Who the f*ck does she think she is?! She needs to learn to implement self improvement before she goes around telling others how to improve. But I really shouldn’t be surprised, she is queen of hypocrites!
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Connecting with her audience is an issue. Hmmm, wonder why? Maybe because it is hard to 'connect' and get to know someone who is fickle. She is like a chameleon. Also, she fills her channel with conflicting sponsorships which becomes confusing. I wonder how she will handle that with her new schedule(2 vlogs, 1 lifestyle). The topics for the latter that apparently are viewer-requested are: routine, home decor, thrifting, diy, hauls, self improvement, beauty/fashion.
Is she knowledgeable in any of this?
Personally, I am not interested. I do not care for Elle's 'expertise' in any of these areas. Home decor, beauty/fashion, and self improvement... laughable. Unless she enlists some professionals to help direct, which might actually be very insightful, I think Elle is lost.

I feel like every “revamp” she’s ever done over the years, she has said she’s trying to connect more, share more of herself, etc. And it never seems to happen. Guess that’s tough to do when you’re shallow and uninteresting.

Ok I can’t today. I got 2 minutes into today’s video and cut it off.
She’s talking out of her ass about ethical companies, wasting money, and shopping sales. We all know she is NOT an ethical shopper, she is NOT concerned with quality, and she’s sponsored by Joe Fresh!!! I can’t listen to her go on.
Also she swears she only has a weeks worth of clothes per kid. BULLSHIT. I saw the nursery tour, and Miss Blankette has as much as Elle wanted to buy.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Today’s video sounds like she’s trying to justify why she accepted joe fresh sponsors (and promotes her gifted merchandise) while preaching about buying high-end and going without until you can afford it.
It also sounds like she just watched a documentary about the real cost of fast fashion and that’s why it’s heavy on her heart right now.
Long before I knew what fast fashion was I didn’t like the idea of clothes that lasted for a season or two. It seemed like a waste of money! (Not bragging, merely stating - and being ‘poorer’ as a kid, throw-away money wasn’t really a thing in my house).
Personally, I feel this video was a means to justify her upcoming target haul of cheap, fast fashion and unnecessary crap while currently spewing her ethically made and sustainable stuff. She says that her family’s clothing is 75:25 sustainable:fast fashion and that should be good enough.
While I agree that changes need to start small and not everyone needs to go all out to start - if your end goal is 100% then MAYBE you don’t take those sponsorships (since you’re more than just needing ‘cheap’ clothes and are now being paid to promote them) or MAYBE you BUY off of Facebook buy & sells (since someone else on here KNOWS she already knows the sell side of it!).
This just sounded more like justification for her double standards than anything else.
