I think Bonnie is lisping because of the deep incisions and swelling in her mouth. I really don’t think she’s doing it on purpose.

It seems real to me too, just a guarding behavior. I was thinking it was from trying to hold her lower jaw as still as possible, but I didn't realize she would have incisions in her mouth, so that could be it too.

She might have a little bit of a lisp from surgery, but she is definitely playing it up to make it seem worse than it is. When she was talking to Lincoln and Boston in today’s vlog, her lisp was almost non-existent. Then during dinner it suddenly came back with a vengeance. Image

Hi Kids, you get captain crunch cereal for breakfast! Hi Bonnie, let me make you my special corn bread pancakes to make you feel better! Then lets all sit around and watch you high as a kite eat them and give you sympathy.

Wow, my kids would be the first who I made a special breakfast for. They are messed up, I with their comments were on.

Why would they put up on the vlog her saying that she was crying the night before because she had to get her own meds. I can't believe that they think this train wreck is worth publishing.

I think it's a matter of how recently she's taken pain medication.

Joel said yesterday that Bonnie was up all night in severe pain along the side of her jaw. The surgeon explained that she would have nerve pain while healing. She must have hit those pain killers good to be eating all that cold ice cream, all those junk snacks like nothing bothered her. Joel must have given in after her complaining and crying all night. What I don't get is Joel said Bonnie was almost on her death bed after her first surgery, they didn't show her surgery but it didn't look good. So why in the world would she go back to the same surgeon that did such an awful job? I'll bet she'll have some type of nerve pain with that chin op, she regret it at some point. I can't wait for the swelling to go down so we can see the end result. That incision under her chin will definitely leave a scar. I think she should have just left her face alone. That chin fit her other features. She really isn't that bad looking, she just needed to tone up and watch what she ate. And her hair was so healthy looking before she started messing with the extensions.

Unlike most families, their children do not come first. I'm guessing it was the same way in the Griffiths household growing up.

Betting she is going to have nerve pain. It really does hurt when it's growing back. But she'll say she has special nerve pain and neurontin doesn't work. She NEEDS Percocet for it!

today’s vlog - 8 minutes of justification for being on pain meds for six months. they are both trying SO HARD to convince themselves that she’s normal and the process is just like everyone else. they honestly drive me SO CRAZY NUTS with how far up their asses they are.

With her tonsillectomy, Joel took two weeks off work and he was worried about not having enough time off so Bonnie "doesn't have to be as sedated." Watching "Desperate For a Hair Wash" she was over a week after her tonsillectomy recovery, had her hair done and a hair stylist was concerned about her since Joel said she was "loopy" and required assistance. Also, Joel gave the kids ice cream in the tub. :? This tonsillectomy vlog seemed similar to Joel talking about why she is so much pain with her recent procedure with all the nerves etc...

Good point. I think you're right. In today's vlog, she was talking normally to Lincoln when he was putting away Lady's stuff. But when she was eating the cornmeal pancakes she was lisping and slurring her words and clearly out of it.

She did take a long time to recover from her tonsillectomy . At the time, I dismissed it because "adults have a harder time recovering from them.
She also always has to have cough syrup with codeine whenever she has a cold. I think (and this is just my opinion as a recovering pill popper) that she hates her life and the pills make it easier to pretend to be happy. I mean, she's got the dream life, right? Nice Mormon husband, a bunch of kids, designer dog and a fairly successful vlog channel. She "should" be happy, right?

Yeah. Why doesn’t her doctor have her on neurontin and Advil at this point? I have trigeminal neuralgia and neurontin is the only thing that controls the pain. Plus, how does she poop and isn’t she itching like mad all of the time on the constant dosage of opiates? I don’t see how miralax would help that much.

These people have the weirdest codependent relationship I’ve ever witnessed. They act like an elderly couple.

WHAT. HAPPENED to her hair?! This is from a 2014 hair tutorial and this is before she put in her halo extensions. I’m legit having anxiety knowing this can happen...

She used to be pretty and her hair was lush and not thin, ragged frizz. I don't recognize the Bonnie of today. Sometimes too much money, free time, and adulation works in the opposite direction. She didn't need these surgeries or crazy hair extensions and looked so much better before all of it. It's weird and borderline sad to watch.

Aw, how cute of her to model overpriced dresses while high. That's 15 minutes I'll never get back.
What a waste of a platform. No desire but for praise and to brag about how "expensive" the dresses were. She loves to pretend she's uncomfortable with things being expensive, but then just rationalizes the shit out of why it's ok to spend that much.
This woman is in all her glory when standing in front of a mirror. So off-putting.

It's so sad that Bonnie's mom didn't take her to the doctor for a week after she broke her wrist. Even sadder to me is that Bonnie basically implied she wouldn't take Boston if he hurt himself. There was a lot wrong in the Griffiths house, and the unaddressed issues are playing out in the next generation. Bonnie and her siblings idolized Jennifer and Chad so much and think they had a perfect childhood, and they don't even realize it was downright abusive/neglectful at times.

Joel "She cant open her wittle (not a spelling error, that's how he said it) mouth that big right now" - You'd think with the baby talk he would be talking about Lady, but no, he's talking about Bonnie eating a cut up banana. It was so uncomfortable.

I honestly think this whole situation is very, very sad. Not facetious sad, but actually sad. Of course, there is no rational justification for some of the things they do with the kids. However, Bonnie clearly has such deep seated issues with her life and her own self that she feels the need to physically alter herself in permanent ways, no matter the cost. That, to me, is terribly sad and I could never imagine feeling that way. I think Joel is kind of lost with the whole situation and is enabling her problems instead of helping, which is also sad because it makes everything worse with her. It also creates an unhealthy dynamic in their marriage and an unstable environment for the kids. Don't even get me started on all the ways this is affecting/could potentially affect the kids. Sad, sad, sad.

Joel doesn’t seem lost about what to do to me. I think he likes Bonnie high as a kite and certainly isn’t opposed to the modifications she’s made. Joel is enjoying his life of luxury, and I don’t even see a glimpse anymore of the man he used to be. He’s a worse douche than Jared and Bryan imo, because he at least used to be better.
