What a conundrum...SO complicated Elle. What type of crap to buy? Hmmmm. I do not know how Elle, who shops for sport, reconciles it all. She should have titled the video: Heart-wrenching Decisions for a SAHM of 3.
I bet she can easily afford to buy ethically and sustainably; she would likely just have to have LESS stuff. Problem: she likes to shop.

For me, it is fairly simple these days. I thrifted the majority of my kid's clothing for the first couple years when constantly growing and changing sizes. I do not mind something being gently used especially if it is good quality and I will essentially just end up giving the same items to friends/charity once we are done with them. I do not fluctuate in weight too much and running around after a toddler for me means I am not trying to be a fashion icon. That said, I do like quality(that will last me years): classic, well-made, quality fabrics...usually just buy myself deeply discounted items from TJX stores (like premium denim made in the USA retail $200+ marked down to under $40) or occasionally on ebay(for example, knit sweaters retailing close to $1000 can be snagged for under $100). We never had much expendable cash in my household growing up so I do know how to stretch a dollar... I try not to buy what I do not need. Hey, maybe I AM a minimalist!!!? Pfft.

I would have thought if Elle is such an avid shopper she would have learned a thing or two along the way about her purchasing habits... but it seems she just cannot figure out 'how' she should shop... Too complex. Maybe she should just learn how to turn off the water valve to the toilet and call it a day.

Honestly 95% of my daughter’s closet is consignment/ thrift store. You have to dig but you can find really quality stuff.

I do consignment for myself a lot as well.
I think the only second hand thing she’s bought for herself was the LV bag.

I can't believe she seriously included the bit in today's vlog where she lays into poor Dan over the mattress not being moved from the loft. She must think she's sooo hilariously funny teasing him in his skivvies with an awkward expression on his face.

Also she's a dumbass for dumping an entire bottle of essential oil into their conditioner bottle. I hated when she bitched at Dan for not paying enough attention to her when she was discussing how good the oil is supposed to be for hair. I'd be pissed if I was taking a break from working full time/dealing with Elle and the kids and relaxing at my computer when all of a sudden Elle comes up and starts nagging and being embarrassing on camera.

God she’s such a cunt to dan. That man has funded her whole lifestyle and she’s bitching at him for taking a break. He works a ton, and being a vet is not easy. Works long hours and it’s emotionally draining, then to come home and constantly be belittled by your wife.

Also you’d think this being her 3rd baby she’d know how to introduce a bottle.
Cradle your baby Elle. It simulates being fed at the breast so B will have a better idea of what’s going on.

I had to see and watch the trainwreck you guys were talking about. It is worse than what you guys described!

Elle scolds Dan publicly on YouTube while he is in underwear. Elle must get off on putting down her husband because no sane person would do this to someone they love.

Then to add insult to injury she shoved that mattress in his computer nook blocking the window. It's bad enough that Elle basically put her husband's "man cave" in a little closet like space in that huge house. She made it a storage closet on top of that. Dan only saved up his vet salary for years to buy Elle a house and funded her "career" as an influencer. What an ungrateful brat.

With the bottle thing.. this is Elle's 3rd child! Why would she introduce a bottle after breastfeeding and baby is full? She also should know by now to mimic the breastfeeding position so baby gets it. She is so dense while appearing to be an expert to her audience. I really don't get why she has some diehard fans.

You should feed babies before trying to give a bottle. Just so they’re not frustrated and starving. I would’ve fed on one side, and rather than switching and feeding on the other side as well, before the bottle, I would’ve just gone right to the bottle. That way they’re still interested in suckling and hungry, but not starving.

Oh my God, I could not imagine talking to my husband like that, let alone videotaping it and putting it on the internet. She needs to really take a step back and look at things through other people's eyes. It wasn't funny and you can just see in Dan's face that he is not amused and really wants her to put the camera away. I can't imagine he even feels comfortable saying that to her.

Elle, just a quick head's up: Being purposely mean to your husband doesn't make you more "relatable." And no, I don't think it's a matter of, "I'm joking, he knows I'm joking" because that is one of the biggest ways to gaslight people. By saying/doing mean and hurtful things and then turning around and being like, "I'm just joking. It's a joke! Can't you take a joke?" I can take a joke. And I've been known to laugh at things that are actually funny. That was not funny, that was so hard to watch I clicked out of the video. I don't want to see you shitting all over your husband, actually.

I've watched her channel long enough to get a pretty decent sense of Dan. He's quiet, shy, maybe a little socially awkward, but I can't imagine anything he does or says off-camera has been deserving for the ire that she casts his way. Again, I will say: Being purposely mean to your husband won't make people like you more. Not sure what influencer is doing that that you're taking notes from, but from you it feels like straight-up bullying.
