Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Thoughts on today’s vlog.
Did she seriously just admit she was crying because she had to get up in the middle the night and get her own medication? Kids get crappy breakfast while Bonnie get something substantial. They have 4 children and all these vlogs rotate around Bonnie’s procedures. Nothing fun for the kids like soccer, summer camp, dance etc. literally they just have the kids “working “. How embarrassing for the children how often they show Bonnie slurring her speech completely out of it.

Also, the Irony that Boston doesn't want the people at the birthday party he was going to, to see her but they will all see because they are filming it and putting it on the Internet.AutumnLane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 9:31 am Thoughts on today’s vlog.

People are made with very different body builds even in the same family. Olivia is not at all overweight. Just a different build to her cousins.
Bonnie really should not have shown the Bollie dress at the end of all the other dresses. It just highlighted how ill fitting and badly made it was.
Also I'm thinking boob job with the chin and hernia Op.

I'm sorry but the Bollie dress looks like something you could wear in prison.
I am amused.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Maybe that explains somewhat Ruby not taking Russell to the doctor for a week when he broke his leg when he was a baby. Plus Ruby said her finger was broke and they didn't take her to get it fixed and it didn't heal back correctly. That was the reason she gave when they talked about taking Russell that time his finger was giving him problems. They make their parents out as the best parents ever then admit when they had medical situations that wasn't treated correctly!ICantEven wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:57 am It's so sad that Bonnie's mom didn't take her to the doctor for a week after she broke her wrist. Even sadder to me is that Bonnie basically implied she wouldn't take Boston if he hurt himself. There was a lot wrong in the Griffiths house, and the unaddressed issues are playing out in the next generation. Bonnie and her siblings idolized Jennifer and Chad so much and think they had a perfect childhood, and they don't even realize it was downright abusive/neglectful at times.
Honestly the whole situation in this family is sad! When she was modeling all the dresses on IG, I was thinking about her posts a few months ago talking about how the kids had one church outfit. Yet she can have all she wants.

Oh, I definitely don't think Olivia is fat at all. She's just shaped differently from her cousins, and in that family, being tiny is what is valued for the females. And I am betting she's already been compared to her cousins by Grandma Griff. Who is the giver and witholder of approval in that family.LumpyDays wrote:People are made with very different body builds even in the same family. Olivia is not at all overweight. Her wants, her needs, all attention on her. It's so foreign to me that I just don't get it.
I have 3 kids- one is 8, just like Cody. Between my 3 we have soccer, swim, instruments, football, gymnastics, and so on. Between my job and dashing to practices, games, and events- it leaves little time for self-pity and frivolous crap.
She doesn't even have half of a normal workload for a typical mom and she can't deal??! This is less of a dig at her and more of a wtf??!
I realize that not all moms are alike and not all kids are into sports and activities, but come on!! What do these kids do all day besides worry about their dramatic mother and wait for her to recover?
My opinion, but a very weird and messed-up dynamic in this family.

This is really important. These kids don't have a clue their daily lives are being broadcast to the entire world and providing their parents with an income. Some of these YT kids are going to be seriously messed up when they grow up and realize they've been exploited...some from birth!gopedjane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 10:43 amAlso, the Irony that Boston doesn't want the people at the birthday party he was going to, to see her but they will all see because they are filming it and putting it on the Internet.AutumnLane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 9:31 am Thoughts on today’s vlog.

Not only that but they have a dad who's home all day. Why aren't these kids in activities or sports? It's not as if someone can't take them or they are working outside the home. Throw them in the yard and lock the door. That's their lives.danalocs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:00 pmShe doesn't even comprehend that her entire life is composed of free time!AutumnLane wrote:Thoughts on today’s vlog.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Joel mentioned the kids had been paid for some work and they were going to work that day? My first thought was so Bonnie can have it quiet at home with the kids gone working, but I'm not sure what they were doing? So far the only activities they've shown was a typically short little league baseball season where one game Cody had to choose between the game or ice cream and piano during the school year that I think is what Bonnie wants.
Do you think Joel cuts everyone's lawns (father-in-law/his dad) these days?

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
I’ve always wondered why the kids aren’t in activities. Playing in the basement and backyard constantly must be lonely. We have seen Cody do gymnastics but that lasted for one day, they don’t show much of baseball. All the boys could be in soccer or baseball or even martial arts, I bet they would love it. And Olivia could be in softball or gymnastics or whatever she chose. Hair, nails, and plastic surgery are so much more important.danalocs wrote:She doesn't even comprehend that her entire life is composed of free time!AutumnLane wrote:Thoughts on today’s vlog.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
I agree and why not take Lady for a walk around the neighborhood for so many reasons it would help you heal. I think this has become a pattern with Joel and Bonnie in what they do after surgery after going back and watching her tonsillectomy vlogs and having someone take over is her expectation. For most, their husbands have gone back to work after being home for a few days leaving moms on their own and I don't think kids like to stay in their parent's bed half the day like Bonnie and Ellie's children?Kataja wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 10:43 pm How about practicing some home nursing, taking advil and using ice and heat packs to numb the pain on chin. Trying to get the swelling down by ''old- fashioned'' way. Joel could easily help her with ice, etc. Her being active, walking around and doing household chores will certainly help with the healing. Laying around and whining do not.

When Joel cuts Grandma Griff’s lawn the boys usually pick up pine cones from the yard. I imagine that’s the job they were doing.YTIG60 wrote:Joel mentioned the kids had been paid for some work and they were going to work that day? Eta: I was thinking about how Jennifer disliked Joel in the beginning and tried to run him off. I now wonder if this was a bizarre kind of grooming where she made him start catering to her by having to win her over (and keep her happy)?

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Didn’t they make reference to someone in the neighbourhood giving the kids a job? I don’t think it’s the lawn maintenance that Joel does/used to do. Joel isn’t with the kids, Bonnie’s parents don’t live close enough to drop the kids off and go back to get them really and Joel definitely said he would be home to help Bonnie all day.
It’s likely someone in the church needs a few extra hands.

Joel probably volunteers the kids to do all the Good Samaritan things he used to do. Hope they are at least getting paid.FakingIt_MakingIt wrote:Didn’t they make reference to someone in the neighbourhood giving the kids a job? He did say they were being paid. Bonnie even asked if their first pay check was ready yet and he said it was.

Can someone give me a run down of what the latest procedure was and why? I haven’t followed much since the first surgery.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Hi! (New here)
Just got done watching the vlog and have to say I am
So sick to death of seeing that poor animal caged. She is rarely out of it. And it’s covered completely with a thick blanket when she’s in it 99% of the day. And then put into a caged area outside. I can’t stand it! Why even have a dog?! I thought it was so weird to have the dog caged on Lincoln’s bed!
Bonnie cares more about carving her body up and her long gross talon nails than she does about the kids or the poor animal she bought. It really irks me that the dog isn’t walking free in the house. Dogs can be trained and not locked up 24-7 with a tiny space with their food and water dish.
Such a strange family. And the kids are even stranger. A lot of them display behavior consistent with anxiety.

Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
I’m sorry she can bitch all she wants but surgery is the easy way out! I have a body like Bonnie’s and like her l don’t get away with eating crap! Ruby does! Her girls have her build! She eats Oreos by the handful and stays rail thin! Oh well tough shit! You know what that means...like an adult l deal with the cards l’ve been dealt! I’m 5’9” when l eat how we’ve seen Bonnie eat most the years she has made videos like her l got up to an size 18-20. I didn’t obsess and whine and make lame excuses. I knew it was because l was jamming Arby’s and jelly beans in my mug! lol I got sick of it about a year ago worked my ass off in a gym ate healthy accepted l don’t get away with ANYTHING metabolism wise! It took me a week to loose a few pounds and 1 bad evening of eating to gain it back! Such is the life of a big girl! Accept it don’t make excuses work your ass off (literally) or say lm a size 18 because health isn’t my priority right now! I have lost 65lbs and am a size 8 now. I didn’t get surgery cramming crepes and pain pills down my throat crying about Fiberous Fat or unfair genetics!!! I’m over this girl! She’s a train wreck! Who orders 1800 calories worth of crepes after a fricken tummy tuck! This is why good surgeons make people going through weight reducing surgery go through therapy!!! You have to change your head or your body inevitably will end up fat again! Because you still think and function like an overweight person. BONNIE WILL PUT HER WEIGHT BACK ON! She doesn’t have a healthy mentality about body size and food.lmmomSD wrote:I agree with both of you, actually. Not so much that it's ok to say that Olivia is chunky, even if you're not trying to fat shame her. But I am betting that someone in that family has probably commented on the difference between Julie's shape (or Abby or Julie's daughter--Emma?) and Olivia's. Even though she isn't "fat", I will stake money that Grandma Griff or Bonnie has said something to her because she's not as skinny as her cousins. And just look at the role model she has! Bonnie can toss around catch phrases all she wants. Her actions show that she is deeply insecure and loathes the shape of her own body.Kryptonite wrote:I think it's uncouth to compare a child's weight to her cousin's (who clearly has a different body type) during a discussion where people are stating that the same child's mother is negatively influencing how she sees herself and her weight.rosie_dalia wrote:Poor Olivia. She's the same age as Julie, but when they stand next to each other you can tell Olivia is overweight. Not body shaming at all. I just think her parents have her on a diet of JUNK and now she's ten and sort of chubby. That's never good. She's going to end up EXACTLY like Bonnie.
I honestly think Bonnie's real problem was poor diet and zero exercise. She should have just been more responsible for herself (less food intake and SOME exercise) and she could have avoided all these surgeries.
Olivia is fine and active. She has a different build than her cousins. She has no control over her diet. Let's not talk about her weight. She didn't put herself online.
