Anyone else notice that we haven’t seen Jennifer once this recovery? My mom has been a life saver to me after two knee surgeries and three c-sections. And, she lives 8 states away. Such a weird relationship.

I just can’t even imagine waking my husband up just to cry when he has plans the next day. That’s just rude. She was able to bend to do laundry, she can do life. She just doesn’t want to.

And, whoever called it about her not being able to stay sober with Boston and get him to the party, you’re right.

That said, her body did look smokin’ in some of those dresses. Totally worth it...

Because she had to watch Boston and get him to a birthday party. Which she would have to stay sober to do which is the problem. Joel should have made her do it or if he doesn’t trust her too stay sober, found someone else to take care of Boston and get him to the party. He committed to his brother and should not have canceled so Bonnie can be drugged up. I don’t get how Bonnie thinks saying that she feels bad actually makes it okay.

I don't know why Joel doesn't recognizing what's normal after surgery is especially after seeing his dad recovery from a serious surgery where they went through the front of his neck to do surgery on his vertebrae explained by Joel. In this vlog (Hard seeing Grandpa This way) something doesn't seem right with Bonnie too?

Apparently with a hand written letter. Which takes balls and I love by the way! If she was up all night and couldn’t sleep why didn’t she clean the house then?

Bon Bon has an AD on Dove, which I saw on Instagram. Someone should contact the company to let them know that she is posting drug induced behavior on YouTube now. Somehow I doubt this is the image they want for their company. I tried to figure out how to contact the company on Instagram, but can't find a link.

She couldn’t sleep because she slept ALL day in a drug induced, self medicated coma. This is horrific..Joel needs to flush those meds. That dr should be ashamed of himself prescribing too much. She obviously wants every last pill in the bottle..most ppl have left over pills because they realize the pain gets less and less at a certain point and make the switch to OTC relief meds. If she’s taking gabapentin along with a narcotic.. her flying high possibilities are endless. This is going to be really bad.

The whole laundry room scene is ridiculous. First off, like everyone else says, get a damn drying rack. Secondly if she would toss joels clothes in the dryer for about 5-10 mins THEN take them out while they are still damp (but wrinkle free) and put them on a rack they will dry faster, and less wrinkly. Also, why does it take her new (ish? idk how old it is, but i have LG washer and dryers like hers and mine are about 7 years old and hers look like a newer model) dryer an HOUR on HIGH to dry 3 handfuls of socks and underwear????
Why does Joel have to be awake just bc she is? Why couldnt she let Joel sleep? Is she not allowed to give herself her pills? Does she not know that the reason why she can't sleep is bc she is strung out on pain pills?
Is the dog not allowed to be on the floor at all? No Bonnie no one wants to see your dog's asshole, even Olivia knows better.
Joel is going to be proud that she did laundry 11 days after facial plastic surgery? Wow, he has low expectations for his drug addicted wife.

I was thinking this too. Her anxiety over people from church seeing her videos says a lot about how she acts in real life vs. how she acts on her channel. She probably tries to portray the perfect Mormon family in real life but those at church who watch her know exactly what’s up. And it ain’t pretty.

I have a question. So, Bonnie's "hernia" surgery was supposedly needed, but I'm pretty sure her insurance won't cover a dime of it because she went out of state and to a plastic surgeon. If it was REALLY needed wouldn't she find a local doctor in Utah who could do the surgery and her insurance would likely cover most of the expense??

I can't imagine how HUUUUUUUGE her medical bills are! I would not be surprised if they are $150K+ now. I doubt insurance would cover any of her procedures.

Bonnie is insane.

No way they are $150k. I work in the OR department and we have private pay plastic surgery cases.

Insurance would absolutely cover a hernia repair by a plastic surgeon, but I’d be surprised if they even have insurance.

I don't think Joel is capable of helping Bonnie, just enabling. Joel sees nothing wrong with his little Bonnie behaving like this. Ellie might see how off Bonnie is, but again I doubt she would be much help, she doesn't seem to be able to help herself most days. And Jennifer is useless IMO, she is the main reason her children act like this.
They need someone outside their dysfunction to sit them down and get them back on track.

I’m sorry she can bitch all she wants but surgery is the easy way out! I have a body like Bonnie’s and like her l don’t get away with eating crap! Ruby does! Her girls have her build! She eats Oreos by the handful and stays rail thin! Oh well tough shit! You know what that means...like an adult l deal with the cards l’ve been dealt! I’m 5’9” when l eat how we’ve seen Bonnie eat most the years she has made videos like her l got up to an size 18-20. I didn’t obsess and whine and make lame excuses. I knew it was because l was jamming Arby’s and jelly beans in my mug! lol I got sick of it about a year ago worked my ass off in a gym ate healthy accepted l don’t get away with ANYTHING metabolism wise! It took me a week to loose a few pounds and 1 bad evening of eating to gain it back! Such is the life of a big girl! Accept it don’t make excuses work your ass off (literally) or say lm a size 18 because health isn’t my priority right now! I have lost 65lbs and am a size 8 now. I didn’t get surgery cramming crepes and pain pills down my throat crying about Fiberous Fat or unfair genetics!!! I’m over this girl! She’s a train wreck! Who orders 1800 calories worth of crepes after a fricken tummy tuck! This is why good surgeons make people going through weight reducing surgery go through therapy!!! You have to change your head or your body inevitably will end up fat again! Because you still think and function like an overweight person. BONNIE WILL PUT HER WEIGHT BACK ON! She doesn’t have a healthy mentality about body size and food.

I think they have insurance since it is still mandated (ACA) unless they chose to pay a penalty, but this will change in 2020. I bet they have a higher deductible so how much of her hernia surgery coverage wouldn't be much. If you add all the expenses of their motels in LA/Beverly Hills, multiple trips/airfare to LA/Canada, LA plastic surgeon and other fees (anesthesia), children ED visits, Joel's foot surgery/hair transplant - their medical bills and other expenses related to surgery haven't been cheap this past year, however, I don't think it is $150k.

Never going to happen. Bonnie comes first. Whatever makes Bonnie happy, Joel is going to do. He went through this last year and apparently hasn't learned a thing. In his mind, he figures she will get through this and life will be great again. Of course we all know there will be another procedure, then another procedure... Bonnie will never be happy.

I mean Bonnie normally has some weird ideas and isn't the most well spoken /educated person, and on top of that she's high on pain meds. So I'm not really surprised by the things she's saying and doing (also we've seen it before). This is beyond her problem, because she's not in her right mind.

Joel, you are (I think... But starting to doubt) in your right mind. Your wife is not okay. Either you take away the meds or you take away the camera and phone. Or don't publish the videos, etc. I know you might be used to her leading on the YouTube stuff, but right now you can't let her. She thinks she is fine and makes these videos, but then she tells us she can't remember any of it later....and it's not good for the business that is supporting you and more importantly your children. It's incredibly irresponsible to let this go on, even if it seems like the path of least resistance right now.

The fact that this is going on says much much more about the family dynamics than anything. It's sad that a family who constantly preaches the importance of family, and also are members of a what seems to be tight-knit church community, no one has stepped up or been able to get through to them. I don't know Mormons stance on the husband being the head of the household, but can't the church even appeal to Joel on those grounds.

Bonnie can't solve her problems because she's so out of it. The only one who can is Joel. He's the one who needs a good talking to and also the support and backup to follow through with what's best for his family.
