It's weird to me because it seems sudden. If they had been obsessed with rainbows all along, or started when Gaines was born, that would make sense to me. But the sudden flipping out every time they see a rainbow (and let's face it-- there are lots of rainbows in the summer in the south) just seems disingenuous.

Just watched C&K's latest vlog....well skipped through it. They do actually seem geninely interested in moving to the beach (not PCB neccessarily).

They seem to me like they're in a rebellious phase and just wanting to do the opposite of "normal". This kind of behaviour normally happens when a person has fallen out with people they were once very close to. The fact they are considering leaving Birmingham makes me the think the fall-outs must more widespread. I bet they are no longer talking to most of their friends either. Could there be something else though thats making them want to leave town? I wonder have they done something illegal thats about to catch up with them soon or do they owe someone a lot of money?

Anyway I'm still between 2 minds whether its what i said above or if this is all just Katie trying to lure Cullen into a false sense of security before she dumps his ass and that the rift with the family is fake for the same reason.

Did anyone watch the don’t tell mom podcast today? Cullen and Katie were on together. Katie said she thinks brooks has sensory processing disorder and talked more about the swing. He also slaps people in the face frequently and even the preschool teacher has a hard time with him. They didn’t look like two people in love, that’s for sure.

If she really thinks Brooks is having issues then she needs to talk to his pediatrician and get him evaluated by professionals. What good is it to assume your child has a disorder yet only put him in a stupid swing. If Brooks truly has a sensory issue he needs proper treatment. How can a licensed psychologist not seek help for their own child? They have often shown Brooks and Cullen rough housing and Cullen encouraging this type of behavior, poor kid is probably just confused.

Good Lord was that awkward. No clue as to how they are still a couple. Katie is so domineering. Cullen looks like an awkward, scared, submissive little boy. Such a contrast to seeing Cullen with his family. I get the impression that Katie is a lot like her mama.

Cullen-"With all the resources out there on the INTERNET & the PODCASTS I've been able to pinpoint what I want to focus on for that day."

Katie-"I think we were drinking more than we needed to-we had gotten unhealthy with it. I think we were using that as a coping mechanism for dealing with a lot of our underlying problems-basically trying to keep it under wraps."

Cullen-"I would say yes. I mean, we still have our daily arguments."

The only reason Katie is fine with the alcohol is because she has a problem too. His drug issue was never just a weed addiction imo, that makes absolutely no sense given how serious they both talk about Cullen’s addiction having been.

And I'm sorry. If you are "using alcohol as a coping mechanism", you have a problem. Alcohol is not a good coping mechanism.
And the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

About Brooks and his "sensory issues": get him evaluated. There are lots of ways to help him. Also, don't film him hitting and running into things, laugh, and upload it to IG and YouTube. He thinks that is approval. Duh. I've said it before, but there is no way I would take her advice on anything to do with raising my children. Did she not learn anything from her expensive PhD?

What I didn't like about it was that Katie threw Cullen in front of the bus more than once, like when she would give a random example to explain something and was telling her story she would unsolicited draw him into it in an indiscreet manner in my opinion, like when she said that it saved their marriage the fact that she changed, despite that the other person (Cullen) was the problem. Another time she pointed with her thumb towards Cullen, without looking at him, it was not her place to point at him while Cullen was telling his story, even when packaged in a so-called joke, which it wasn't really but still. She is so full of feeling like she didn't get recognition enough for her perspective that she's still revengeful to him, while she shouldn't be at all. She doesn't stand in her right for that feeling.

She was also full of crap with the negativity and so-called rudeness thing. No Katie, you need and deserve "negative" things in your life when you're doing things wrong. That's called social control.

She kept pointing at Cullen when he was talking about Brooks and said he is just like you! Which is how she sees it, she and Gaines are so similar and perfect and Cullen and Brooks are the crazy troublemakers. Give me a break woman, her desire for their lavish lifestyle seems to be what pushed Cullen over the edge with his addictions. The podcast was so unbelievably awkward to watch, they seem so done with each other, Cullen seems beaten down almost.
