I think keeping them apart is even ridiculous. Vera will eventually forget about it if she preoccupies her with something else. Notice today she said she's not scared of her anymore. Joan is such a drama queen.

I always found it hilarious when my kids would get afraid of silly things like that. Don't traumatize them with it but it's not a big deal. It's funny!

So I saw this post go up & then the comments started coming in.
Quite a few loss moms were understandably jealous that Joan somehow managed to get her color photos, when policy states black and white photos. And I think it was mentioned the photographer provides 5 edited photos?
The comments were getting quite rude in my opinion. With some people saying they didn’t understand why the photographer wouldn’t release every photo they took and Joan agreeing. So while Joan’s post didn’t directly criticize this program, her comments and agreements did.

Here’s the thing. These photographers are volunteers. They are taking time out of their busy schedules , to provide a free service to grieving parents. Just like any regular photographer will not release every photo they take, I can understand these photographers not releasing every photo. There will be photos that are blurry, not quite right, bad angles, etc. Black & white photos can also hide any birth injuries that may have occurred. It takes time to edit photos. I wish people would understand that photography, good photography, isn’t just point & click.

I just found the whole thing to be tactless. And OF COURSE, Joan’s response is to turn off comments. So now all the comments are missing. I’m not sure if that’s an IG thing, or if it means she deleted all the comments.

But seriously... this just rubbed me wrong. A free service, being donated out of the goodness of hearts & people including Joan were bitching that it wasn’t enough.

I’ve followed them since winning the contest. I’ve always thought them a little bit different but hey, who isn’t. I’ve commented positive things on some of her post, anything I didn’t agree with I didn’t say anything about it I just kept scrolling. But this one post on her Insta story just really got to me.




For someone that is so sensitive to other people’s words and takes offense so easily I found this so surprising. She obviously thinks she’s the guru of knowledge for anxiety and PTSD and depression. She’s always “schooling” people.

She really is a piece of work! She doesn't care about anyone else but herself. It's surprising she has any followers bc she blocks people for almost any reason. She loves to say she "cares so deeply bc of Maeve" but that is only about her things and her life. She has only shown herself to be insensitive, immature, self centered and an entitled loser. I'm glad you took those screenshots. In my opinion your comments to her were well written and respectful! She could have easily said without losing a face that ''you are right, I should've not said so. I'm sorry, I delete my post. BUT, obviously she cannot admit doing anything wrong. In her mind she is perfect and anything SHE does is justified/alright.

I would tweet them and hashtag all the things she dies and her name. This reminds me of when Ellie attacked a girl online and asked all her fans too. The girl commented something like I have depression watch to help with it and was sad I have missed footage of the kids I will have to go back and rewatch all the newer videos. Ellie was adding footage after the outro. Ellie got really nasty and told her she didn’t need mental cases telling her how to vlog and then told all her baby army how it hurt her so bad to be criticized and you know what storm came down on that poor fan. I hate these social media people that cry you hurt me then make fun of others m!

I have two accounts that follow her. So I can still see her post. She immediately it took down off her insta story. She knew she was wrong.

TBH they were actually quite helpful for someone who is mildly interested in but clueless about cloth diapers. Not really informative, but maybe some people will be inspired to try cloth diapering if they were on the fence about it. Although they really are not that difficult to figure out or wash. I love when people make cloth diapering visible and fun!

Now, some of Joan's stories are pretty pointless and weird. Like when she posts stories of Vera's crib monitor while she's napping. I don't know why anyone would be interested in seeing that.

I know she posted this picture a few days ago but the placement of that bag is so weird to me. It's like she's using that bag to make it feel like Maeve is there too or something. I don't know for some reason it just seems weird to me. She just .has to put Maeve in the middle of everything, even a cute picture of Vera on a simple beach day

I've never liked the idea of having my children's names on anything visible, never mind a dead child. Gives me chills.
