When I first saw her squeal over that cubic zirconia ring, I though that was kind of nice that she appreciated something fairly inexpensive but then she HAD to say something about getting a real diamond - one even bigger - next year. She's something else.

I don’t get the point of even having a cubic zirconia of such a size to look like a giant diamond. Which is why I think it’s real.ba1006 wrote:When I first saw her squeal over that cubic zirconia ring, I though that was kind of nice that she appreciated something fairly inexpensive but then she HAD to say something about getting a real diamond - one even bigger - next year. She does ask Joel what he told the viewers about the ring. I think it is CZ, but I also think they talked about letting people think it is real. The look she gave Joel was to confirm that the viewers knew it was CZLo5o5 wrote:Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:02 amTodays drama wrote:Thu Aug 15, 2019 9:58 am I also was taking a look a Bonnie as she spoke today. It looks as if her tongue and bottom lip/chin area may still be a little numb. I also saw no bottom teeth. But I can tell you, it has NO EFFECT on her ability to screech LOUD!!!
I have a feeling that ring is real, not a CZ. They must have been looking, she said a 2 karat is $40,000. The way they spend on themselves, thats nothing. And Joel needs her to Love him, what better way than to drop $40,000 on her?
I looked back at older vlogs to see if she talks the same way & she does. It’s hard to see her bottom teeth in videos before the surgery. I doubt she would’ve had teeth taken out then just not mention it at all since it would be so glaringly obvious in the vlogs?
Can you really imagine Bonnie being so humble that she would lie all throughout a vlog about a ring? LOL she would be shouting it from the rooftops if it was a real diamond! She’s always showing off her new spends. Also, it would mean she & Joel would’ve had to pre-discuss lying for the cameras sake. I don’t think they’re that good at acting & do you really they would let Boston play with a $40k+ ring like that?

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
This family is seriously messed up on so many levels. Bonnie thinks she's the most important member in that family and it shows. Why does Bonnie need a gift for every damn thing?! She gets gifts on the daily whether its a lush bath bomb or a ring for the day that they "met". Any excuse, she gets a gift and she has to make a big fuss over it! Making all the kids gather around her while she gushes about her gifts...smh. She's wanting a diamond? She better hope that her subscribers continue to stick around and give her an income or else she will never afford one. Bonnie is such a materialistic, self-centered person, it's disgusting. She did not seem okay in today's vlog, it's a shame what she's doing to herself and the impact it has/will have on the family around her.

Jeweler guy here again. That is most definitely a CZ. I went back and watched the video and you can tell because of the more white color compared to being more crisp and clear, and the color effect the CZ gives off is a lot different than a diamond. I know they said that diamonds are like a CZ but they are nothing alike. Also a 2 carat can cost up to 40,000 but they don’t all cost that much. You can get a very nice diamond for 12-16k that is a 2 carat however since Bonnie refuses anything that isn’t from Tiffany’s (which is ridiculous cause those diamonds come from the exact same place the ones she thinks are beneath her do) you end up paying a premium for the name Tiffany’s.Todays drama wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 9:58 am I also was taking a look a Bonnie as she spoke today. On E&J, Jared says to Ellie, that she married down by marrying him. He says he married UP by marrying her. Ugh, please. She was weeding all day whilst the kids played with chalk on the driveway. Then E&J are sitting on the porch, no Tommy all video. I guess the babysitter was watching him

And don't get me started on diamonds... I wouldn't expect Bonnie to have a clue why she shouldn't buy diamonds. If it happens outside her bubble, she doesn't see it.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Ugh she's just so manipulative and controlling which are traits she gets from her mother. There's been so much footage of Jennifer smearing her herpes-ridden face all over her grandchildren while she tries to force them to kiss her. I really can't stand it when Jennifer puts on that horrible baby voice saying "give Grandma a kiss" and when they clearly don't want to and are trying to get away from her, she starts in with the "oh you'll make Grandma CRY" and the fake crying.
Here's a hint for you moron Griffiths family members who read here: Your kids are not responsible for your emotional regulation. It's manipulative and creepy that you do this to your kids and grandchildren. This is why Ellie suffers from constant anxiety - she is the product of years of manipulation that makes her feel that she has to constantly seek approval from everyone around her and makes her feel that she is responsible for the feelings of other people. It's controlling and damaging and awful to watch. My MIL started behaving like Jennifer with my kids and I shut down that crap really fast. My kids don't need to hug and kiss her, and tell her they love her because she feels "sad" if they don't want to.
Bonnie is doing exactly what her mother does to her own kids. It's all about setting up a control dynamic that extends way past childhood. This is why Jennifer's daughters are STILL desperate for her approval to this day. I feel so sorry for all of these kids as they grow up being manipulated and being made to feel like bad people for wanting autonomy. Having a large extended family can be a great thing, but when the bonds are based on controlling the thoughts and actions of individual family members, it's not healthy.
(sorry this rant is probably more about Jennifer but I don't think that thread is very active, and I think Bonnie is the one most like her mother).

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
I agree with a lot of what you said, but not the part about Ellie. I don’t think she actually cares about approval, so much as she cares about envy. She is also just as guilty of using her kids to fulfill her emotional needs as Bonnie and Jennifer are. She’s leaned on Jackson emotionally far more than any mother should lean on her child. She eases her own anxiety, by putting that anxiety onto her kids (though as someone who suffers from constant anxiety, I also disagree that she has as much anxiety as she says). I actually see more signs of anxiety and frustration in Bonnie than I do Ellie a lot of the time. Anxiety has just become another one of Ellie’s ailments to excuse her behaviour by (acne, hormones, thyroid, PCOS, etc).sparkle lemon wrote:Ugh she's just so manipulative and controlling which are traits she gets from her mother. I wonder if deep down it’s cause he knows Bonnie only settled for him, always her second choice during high school, because none of her other high school boyfriends would’ve put up with her.Kate wrote:Thank you for the info! Truthfully, I believe if it were real they would've said so. Why would they hide that? They're not scared to flaunt expensive items - or share the price of them with us. My assumption is that Joel brought it up to prevent any "exposing" or backlash when people pointed out that it wasn't a real diamond - otherwise they would have implied that it was a diamond.
It's interesting that Joel made the comment about needing a reason for Bonnie to love him, even as a joke that shows some dysfunction. This is further proof, to me, that Joel is insecure and needs to keep up as well. Joel isn't dragging his feet about spending money anymore.

Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
She's mentioned years ago in a vlog (I cant remember which one, sorry), that her mother taught them to "marry someone who loves you more than you love them." She was talking about her relationship with Joel when he was on his mission. They took a break so to speak, though she doesnt call it that, while he was on his mission, "dated" other guys, whatever that means in that family, and when he came back she got back together with him.rdt1004 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 7:35 pmI wonder if deep down it’s cause he knows Bonnie only settled for him, always her second choice during high school, because none of her other high school boyfriends would’ve put up with her.Kryptonite wrote:Thank you for the info! Correct CZ’s do go cloudy, and the are highly susceptible to chipping and scratching especially on the top facets.actuallydear wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 3:38 pmDon't CZ go cloudy after a while?Theallseeingeye wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 2:55 pmJeweler guy here again. I think that they are posting vlogs weeks late and giving extra days by showing one day in 3 different vlogs. That's why it also seems like she is suddenly going worse because they mix up the days. Her speech might not be due to her chin but her narcotics....Bethypooh51 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 1:39 am I wonder if Bonnie regrets getting her chin done. Re: Bonnie Hoellein: Busy As A Bri | Part 55
Last year when she had her first operation, I was bit skeptic about people on this board talking about her misuse of narcotics. I couldn't see the signs maybe because I had absolutely no experience and I've always seen her as bit bipolar and moody anyways. (I've got sheltered childhood, I've never been around people who use drugs nor even around people who drink occasionally.)
BUT man oh man. Her mood swings are totally on another level now compared when she was off-drugs. She is laughing and crying totally uncontrollable, she can't comprehend simplest things (Balloons with numbers 2 and 1 mean 21, Bon-Bon..) and she is acting like little child seeking approval and sympathy. Her behavior towards Joel is really uncomfortable to watch. I think Joel seems to enjoy this mellow and obedient Bonnie, who seems to be acting like Joel is her daddy. Ending rant here, going to vomit. *insert puking ''smilie'' here*

I’m almost 3 months sober from a 4.5 year long chronic opioid addiction. Last year I thought people were overreacting about Bonnie’s med use but that’s probably because I was so deep in my own addiction. This year, now that I’m clear-headed, I can see how worrying it actually is. Especially since she has 4 children. I don’t have anyone relying on me to care for them so my addiction only hurt me.Kataja wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 2:05 am Last year when she had her first operation, I was bit skeptic about people on this board talking about her misuse of narcotics. As for her mood swings, I agree she already could go from 0-100 real quick but under the influence every emotion is heightened. Idk what it is about opioids but they make you have no sense of boundaries at all. I’m already a pretty open book but I was over-sharing details & didn’t know when to stop like when people would become uncomfortable, I just didn’t see it. So I’m all too familiar with how Bonnie is behaving now. Especially that vlog where she didn’t want to put the camera down, couldn’t stop talking and the pointless mailman rant. Her thoughts are jumbled & going 1000mph because of the drugs.
I’ve noticed that she didn’t seem as high the first week after surgery, when they were in LA. (Apart from the sit down rant video, which I don’t think was as much a result of being intoxicated but rather that she felt she needed to justify the surgery.) She seemed fresher, was up and about more. Then as soon as they’re back home she’s in bed all day, awake all night, worrying the kids, not showering, high as f*%k . This makes me wonder if when they were in LA, did she have to see a nurse/dr to be given her allocated meds for the day? Then be sent home with bags of opioids to last her for a few weeks/months? If I know anything for sure, it’s that an addict can’t be trusted with their own medication. It’s just far too tempting and easy to over use & abuse the amounts you’re supposed to take. Which would explain why she seemed to look better in LA then is high as a kite when she’s home. But idk how it works in the US with prescribed meds?

Looks like she's feeling better. Her lisp is gone in the latest Instastories.
What a screwed up family.

Thankyou!
It’s hard, so I understand Bonnie’s denial but it’s the kids I feel for the most. It must be such a confusing time for them. I hope she can come off the pills sooner rather than later, at least for her children’s sakes. I wonder if she reads here..
