I completely agree with whoever said she needs to tho j of viewers like her “customers”. It is just like a customer service game here and there’s a reason that phrase even exists.

I used to work retail in college and if someone came in looking for say a dress we had in last week, but was sold out the answer was NEVER “were out of that dress, stop asking about it and I’m tired of being asked when it’s coming back” but more like “we’re sold out of that right now but if there’s enough demand, we may consider reordering or restocking. It all depends on how many people want it still and if we think it will sell through again. Feel free to look around at the other things we’d have right now”

Does that not sound just like vlogs and challenges? She could handle this better. Even if she’s tired of people asking, they need to grasp that when you make a change like that people will ask about it!

I think people should ask for more vlogs just to annoy her. I would love to have seen the responses to her comment on the community chat board. I’ll bet they were mostly anti-kendal and that’s why she deleted it

Swiss Miss, I stopped watching regularly right when she got rid of the two dogs and immediately got a new one. Seriously, the yard wasn't big enough for them?! Then why the hell did you move into that house?! I think she just didn't want to deal with them. Sheesh! And then she gets Clover who, she swears she did heavy research on her breed to make sure she'd be a good fit for them yet a few vids later she is shocked to find out that the breed commonly has heart issues. WTF is with this lying witch?!

I don't even have cavaliers and know heart problems are common in that breed. She hated the brittanys when they had a yard with an electric fence. She just didn't like them at all. I stopped watching when they moved to Florida, I think my last full vlog was the move.

I hate to say this, but the last vlog they uploaded is among the least viewed videos of the past few months. Most of the challenges have way more views. I wish that wasn't the case, but I see why they are sticking with challenges.

I don't even blame them anymore. The YouTube algorithm is decimating family vlogs. A channel I occasionally watch announced they are quitting, saying that once the algorithm changed their views dropped by 95% almost overnight. Another channel I watch sent out a tweet today saying their views have dropped in half. I really can't fault anyone for changing things up or outright quitting YouTube as a result.

This is all related to the controversy that caused YouTube to remove comments from these family videos several months ago. That was the beginning of the end for family vlogging. Looks like we are stuck with these garbage challenges until YouTube stops promoting them.

The challenges are already starting to become more vlog like. There’s only so much you can do in a challenge before it gets repetitive. The VSCO room makeover, VSCO girls and back to school shopping ones recently were basically mini vlogs. Absolutely no challenge aspect to them, just showing them shopping like the vlogs always did. But they still get the views because they word it like a challenge or with VSCO or Apple store or words that get hits...which is ironic bc they stopped vlogs bc they didn’t want to use clickbait all the time

The amount of money they spend it starting to get sickening too. Brinley getting $350 wireless beats headphones because she needs them for math homework...seriously. Didn’t she just get AirPods a few videos ago? What happened to those? Don’t work for math well enough? They have lost all the values they used to preach

I agree, the spending is vulgar. We are just home from
a vacation in palm beach. We visited the Loggerhead Turtle Sanctuary, we Kayaked on the Loxahatchee River, we walked through part of the Cyprus Creek Natural Reserve, we visited the Space Centre. It’s a beautiful area of the state of Florida. We did a fraction of what we wanted to do in the 6 days we were there. But we have done a hell of a lot more than the Riches have done in the 6 months they have lived there. For a woman who homeschools, you would think that she’d want to do some educational activities with her kids rather than just Disney, Target and shopping malls.

They obviously have someone edit their videos now ... and whoever it is doesn’t pay attention to who they’re editing, or doesn’t actually know their names etc. Brinley won a swimming race and Daniel says “Brinley won” but it sounds like he says Britney ... sure enough “Britney won” flashes on the screen also on Instagram Kendal says this is one of her favorite videos.. literally was the most boring video ever. “24 hours as a mermaid” and all they showed was them swimming with tails and fighting to get on a float. I skipped over almost all of it. At this point they aren’t even doing actual challenges

Editing has been god awful lately!! It’s weird and cartoonish and just really strange. There’s almost always typos. The poor person they hire to edit probably gets 2 hours to finish the whole thing since they film one day and upload the very next morning. Kendal reminds me of an old boss I had working retail...seems like the “I’m paying you so I want it done when I say” type even if it’s not enough time to do a better job

For those interested, Kendal confirmed today that they outsource the editing of the vlogs. So that explains the “Britney” typo. She also talked about getting Botox and lip injections.

If you are an older lady and you’d like Botox, I get that, because it seems like it actually does work on wrinkles. But lip injections? Why in the blue hell would anyone do that? It creeps me out.

Anybody else horrified by the fact that Kendal and Daniel condoned the kids texting their "number neighbors"? My parents would have freaked out if I did that as a kid. Although I wouldn't put it past Kendal to stage the whole thing. The ex husband part was just too sketchy.
